"Don't tell me you are in love with me?" Ridhima when open her eyes greeted by once again Doctor Anurag whom she met earlier due to Ram's reference. And after making sure she is all right he jokingly asks her.
Ridhima can't help but laugh at this remark.
"Ahem..." Rdihima's laugh was interrupted by this sudden cough. She looks towards the door and sees the person she desires to see most, her boss, Vikram.
"Boss..." Ridhima calls him habitually.
"Now you have a guest, I will take my leave. Meet you in the evening" Dr. Anurag said and left her.
"So how are you feeling?" Vikram questions after keeping the things on the table. He is on a business trip this week. And he to be honest doesn't even get the news of Rdihima's accident. He returned to the city today at near dawn. When he reaches the office only then does he remember that he transfer Ridhima before going on a business trip.
He also realized that as soon as he come office he miss her. He decided to visit her new place, he also guess that she might be angry due to this sudden change, but before he can ask more he got to know about her accident.
"Little pain here and there" Ridhima replied. Then she remembers the description on the page she read. Vikramaditya is the villain of this novel. Very handsome, very talented and last but not the least, very much cruel. She can't help but agree with the first two points. Her boss who comes here without doing any makeup looks more handsome than any superstar.
"is there anything on my face?" Vikram questions her seeing her looking at his face with a very heated gaze.
"No, boss.....is there anyone telling you that you are too handsome?" Ridhima can't help but questions. She might never dare to ask this, but now.....she doesn't have any fear.
"..." Vikram doesn't understand what to say about this. Before coming here,he is ready for Rdihima's anger. He knows how hard she works for the company and he also understands that he is doing wrong to her by transferring her to another department....but he also has his reason to do this. And for the time being he is not able to explain it to Ridhima.
"Ha. ..Ha...Ha.I am just kidding" Ridhima realized that she make her boss feel awkward.
"So you wanted to say I am not handsome?" Vikram questions on which now it is Ridhima who gets stuck.
"Okay, Okay, you take a rest now. See you later" Vikram said after making sure that Ridhima is all right.
"If you don't have fear then why don't you confess your feeling to him?"The voice aka Goku questioned her.
"I only have life for one year, is there any point in wasting someone's life due to that? It is better not to make any serious relationship" Ridhima replied.
"Ohhh" Goku feel little bad for Ridhima now. The next two days Ridhima spend in hospital, but now she decided not to take any test. Her trust in Goku increased after this incident.
She also sees ongoing and upcoming projects in her office. According to Goku, their company will go bankrupt. Few wrong decisions of their company going to cause a few problems. Which is going to result in bigger problems in future.
Ridhima right now can't do much for the future. But right now she can at least try to help with few projects which she have knowledge.
Thanks to Goku's information there one project is safe now. As she stops the accident, this project will not face any difficulties.
She already informs Sayali and Mr Shastri about her doubt regarding the material. Ridhima is sure that they will find the solution to this problem.
The next is their very big project, which is Amrut Dam. This damn is going to be a big work for their company. But right now many people are protesting against it. Goku also shows her some future visuals, in that she sees the dam is going to cause many problems as it is not completed in time and also because her boss's company gets handover.
If the dam's work is done on time and with all precautions, it will save many people from drought and also from floods. So she decided to focus all her time on this. Thankfully in these two days, she does a lot of brain dumping and also talks and researches a lot. Still, there are a few things that she has to ask from others and it might take a week.
For the time being, she decided to visit her father. Her father is her only relative. She meanwhile also decides about her life. As she is going to leave this world, she decided to make sure that her father lives a comfortable life. She has term insurance and there are a few company benefits too. She also decided to meet him as many times as possible.
Their relationship is always in strain, She doesn't know why they both fight. She often avoids talking with him. She also never introduced her father to her colleague or anyone. But now.....Thinking this she calls her father.
"Baba...what are you doing?" Ridhima practised these lines five times and only then did she call him.
"Chinu...my baby...so you finally remember your father huh? And why is your phone switched off?" Ranvir, Ridhima's father questioned her.
"Oh that I broke my phone" Ridhima said looking at her new phone. Her phone gets destroyed in her accident. It is her new phone given to her by her boss.
"Oh...you are very clumsy. By the way, it is your birthday coming. Can we meet for lunch?" Ranvir questioned.
"I... I wanted to meet you earlier, how about today's dinner?" Ridhima questioned.
"Sorry baby, I am busy today. I get the invitation for a big party, maybe I will get a good film" Ranvir replied, after a pause.
"Okay," Ridhima replied. She realized that her father is getting further and further away from her. And it is all due to her stupidity.
"Then meet you at your birthday," Ranvir said.
"Okay, baba" Rridhima replied.
