The clouds had darken completely with the heavens weeping over the lands outside of Augustus City. Koji continued to stare up at the clouds with a heavy heart. The pain he felt from the past had resurfaced within him. The thought of losing Yasmin, leaving her behind, not getting the chance to tell her how he felt, it had all came back to him from just glancing up at the stormy clouds above. After experiencing so much lost within his past, Koji decided it would be best to just travel alone.
He shook his head slightly then continued onward, his right hand, resting against the handle of the Ancient blade which was sheathed at the right side of his torso. His hair became drenched with droplets of water running off the many strands that covered his face. His clothes became soaked and his boots became soiled from the mud below.
"Just a little farther..." Koji stated to himself. He let out a slight sigh after picking up the presence of an ominous being. He shifted his gaze up to the clouds once again to see a shadowy silhouette of a dragon hovering above him.
He knew right then and there that this storm was not natural, instead, this storm was the manifestation of the creature that was set before him. Lightning flashed instantly with the sound of thunder following behind. The silhouette began making its slow descent towards the ground, revealing itself to be Killua, the Legendary Thunder Dragon.
"Are you the one who defeated EIkon?" Killua questioned immediately the moment his feet had met the ground.
"Eikon?" Koji answered while placing his left hand on the handle of the Ancient Blade "now that's a name I haven't heard in a while."
"So it was you after all, I've been watching you during your travels. I've seen your power first hand and I must say I'm not impressed," Killua stated while stepping forward. His golden scaly skin glowed slightly during the sporadic flashes of lightning that took place all around him. His wings were tucked in and his horn was set on the bridge of his nose with small sparks of electricity being emitted from off it.
The other two horns were set on the side of Killua's skull, resembling that of a ram. His tail had an arrow tip as it continued to slam against the ground below. In the midst of Killua's claws was the Dragon Claws, the adamantine object radiated in an evergreen glow as Killua stretched out his right hand towards Koji.
"So you've been stalking me? That's not creepy at all," said Koji while unsheathing his blade "I'm sorry if I had disappointed you, please, allow me to fix that."
"Where is your blade?"
"My blade?"
"Don't be dense, you know what I'm talking about!" Killua roared as he cast his right arm aside "where is the blade that can transform into any weapon!?"
"Sorry dragon, but I won't need that blade to defeat the likes of you!" Koji retorted. He instantly entered Ranshio at its first stage with the flames enshrouding his body. He slashed the air before him, dispersing the flames instantly, then entered into his stance. A confident smirk set on his face as he watched Killua reached towards the clouds with his right hand. A sudden burst of lightning shot at the dragon's body, engulfing his right arm as the surge formed into a blade made out of pure electricity. Killua swung the blade around his hand then formed his stance, eager to gain revenge for EIkon.
The two charged at one another simultaneously and met with both blades colliding against each other. They both shared sinister stares as Koji's blade slid past the blade of electricity. Koji lashed out the Ancient Blade in a whipping motion from the right but Killua quickly perceived the strike and vaulted back slightly. Koji continued his pursuit towards Killua with his blade being swung at various angles towards the dragon.
He raised his sword overhead and gathered up the fire essences around him to form the Blaze Scar within the Ancient Blade. Koji unleashed a massive roar as he swung down hard against Killua's blade of lightning. The Blaze Scar left the tip of the Ancient Blade and forced Killua back twenty meters with his feet dragging the dirt beneath him.
Killua bellowed while slashing through the Blaze Scar, forcing the flames to disperse instantly. He narrowed his eyes towards Koji to see the boy leaping towards Killua with his blade held overhead once more. The two shared an exchange of strikes with Koji performing acrobatic leaps around Killua who was struggling to keep up with the assault.
Killua retaliated with a horizontal slash in an attempt to hack Koji down but the young Ranshio Warrior quickly leaned back to dodge the attack then raised his blade behind him to deflect the second strike. In quick haste, Koji powered through Killua's strike then performed a roundhouse kick that was directed to the side of Killua's neck. The dragon took hold of Koji's ankle in the midst of his kick then proceeded in spinning him around before launching him towards a nearby boulder.
Koji's back had met with the solid structure causing small drops of blood to erupt from out of his mouth. He quickly regained his stance and lifted his gaze upward, his eyes widen with shock at the fact that he had lost Killua's whereabouts. Koji began to grit his teeth slightly while shifting his gaze to and fro in search of the thunder dragon. He suddenly sensed the presence of a fiery electric blast approaching him from below.
He placed himself in a position with his knees reaching his chest as he raised his blade before his body in an effort to shield himself from the blast. His body was sent flying in the air with numerous blasts following after him. Koji quickly broke through the first blast then maneuvered past the remaining ones. He saw Killua staring up at him with another energy blast being stored in his mouth.
Koji launched his Ancient Blade towards the dragon, forcing him to move from his position and disrupt focus. He then performed fire Ranshio hand signs with quick haste while drawing in a deep breath.
"Ranshio Bend: Wrath of Flames!" Koji roared, unleashing the massive fireball towards Killua. The dragon quickly raised his arms in an effort to shield himself from the blast while his body was being engulf by it. Koji watched as a geyser of flames and electricity shot upward after the collision took place. He could see Killua undergoing the transformation into his dragon form with his body enlarging by the second.
"Damn you!" Killua roared with his newly formed body stretching out from the flames. A flash of lightning struck the ground the moment Koji had made landing with it. He glanced up with clenched teeth while staring face to face with Killua.
"About time you showed your true form," said Koji, his eyes shifted towards his Ancient Blade that was shoved deep within the dirt a few meters away. He returned his gaze back towards Killua while slowly inching towards his blade. He noticed instantly the Ranshio essences leaving his body as his transformation had suddenly vanished. Shock immediately swelled within Koji's aspect, his eyes fixed on his body that was returning to its normal state.
"What's going on?" He questioned immediately.
"My dragon trait allows me to negate the Ranshio essences that surrounds my enemy, which means, no more transformations," Killua responded with a brief chuckle. "Face it boy this is the end for you!"
"Interesting, I must say I'm quite impressed..." Koji stated with shut eyes. He reached for the Ancient Blade that was shoved within the ground and proceeded in drawing it out. "Unfortunately for you I won't need Ranshio to take you down."
"Cocky little brat!" Killua roared while charging towards Koji who instantly entered his stance, bracing himself for the next wave of attacks.
"Bring it!" Koji retorted.
