Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Tale From The Past

Seagulls were flying over the tarez tower in Kansai city, "Do they have any limits?" Jay asked himself. It was January and spring in Arsia; all the seagulls from Dexim migrated to Arsia because of its cold winter. Dexim becomes the frost hell in January. All significant birds and fishes migrate from Dexim to Arsia over the west Dexim ocean. Both sides of Arsia are surrounded by sea, ships are the primary transport facility used by people to do Business in Arsia, it is considered as one of the rich countries in the globe along with 5 significant countries. Which is Mizora in the south, Tared in the East, Dexim In the west, and Zerbia in the Northeast. Arsia is the only country with over 600 million population among these top countries. Arsia is also considered as a Business giant because of its tourism industry. Jay decided his first destination of the journey to be Arsia as it has a broad range of green mountains and beautiful lakes, which he never saw before. It takes 5 days to travel to Arsia from Tared via Ship. Jay was from Tared, an eastern country that does not have any big green mountains as Arsia. Jay also had his reasons to visit Arsia.

Jay was 14 when his father and mother both decided to travel the globe. His father was used to work as a merchant officer on a cruise name "Schutzr." one day, he met some travelers during his long voyage. After that long voyage, he decided to travel along with them, leaving Jay behind with his grandparents. Jay always hated his father and mother for abandoning him, and that was the last time he ever saw his parents. After boarding the ship, Jay's parents never reached Arsia. Their cruise was mysteriously lost in the ocean; it has been 7 years since that incident.

Jay took his formal education from Eins university in Iba city of Tared, he earned his degree in history. Jay always wanted to learn history; according to him history is the way to travel back in time and experience all the past events. Jay made many friends during this period, and he always enjoyed their company. One day After his graduation, Jay went back to his grandparent's mansion; it was an old mansion with huge backyard. Jay remembered that he spent most of his time playing inside this mansion, listening to the old stories from his grandparents, which made him interested in pursuing history. To this day, Jay never opened his father's closet, but this time with curiosity inside him, Jay opened it and found his father's laptop inside it. Jay didn't know the password. Still, after brainstorming session, he unlocked that laptop, the password was his name itself. Jay found only one text file inside it, and it was a letter from his father, After reading that Jay decided to travel around the globe. What was inside that letter which made Jay take a decision to travel around the world?

Dear Jay,

I hope you are doing well, first of all, I would like to apologize for leaving you alone. But I didn't have any choices, At the time when you will read this letter, We will be traveling through some desert or beautiful country. You have to understand that our time with you was held in a timer like an hourglass, And I know I have lost significant celebrations in your life or I may have missed your graduation or marriage ceremony. Still, I would like to congratulate you, For every achievement you had and will have in your life. Before I die, I wanted to leave something in legacy for you, so we decided to travel and collect all the stories and experiences around the world for you. I know it might sound selfish, but we had our reasons.I and your mother, we both love you very much, and we will be with you forever. I hope you understand and forgive us for abandoning you.

Lots of love...

After reading this letter, Jay felt a little bad for hating on his parents, But he wanted to know the reason why his parents choose to travel, instead of living a happy life with him? Jay had many questions with him, and few befitting answers to those questions. He knew what he had to do to find those answers; Jay decided to complete the journey which his parents was supposed to do for him.

Standing beside the mighty "Schutz."(named after lost ship "Shutzr") made him realize his little existence. Schutz, the only cruise in Tared, which takes people to Arsia, Jay was ready to board this ship and take on the long journey ahead. Port of Iba was busy with the vast numbers of ship sailing carrying containers. Schutz was also prepared to march with them towards the new continent; Jay never traveled to a foreign land.

It tookJay 5 long days to travel and cross the west Dexim ocean and reach his destination Arsia, It was January, and Arsia was seducing tourists with its beauty. Jay was experiencing seasickness; he had to take proper rest before he could explore this beautiful country, Jay took a cab to his hotel after reaching to Arsias port 32. Jay didn't have much of a fortune; he had to do something about it too, as Arsia seems expensive for him. It was spring in Arsia glossy green leaves on the trees were blooming along with beautiful flowers. Winter doesn't seem to last long in Arsia because of its topography, this also made it heaven for migrants birds and fish.

During this month, some rare Black Dolphins from Dexim also seem to migrate to Arsia as it has favorable conditions for there survival.
