...High up in the mountains of Appalachia, in the middle of wilderness untouched for centuries, was the Awanitas, a village of Choctaw Indians, they were in fact the few tribes left in its original settlement, unbothered by the colonist who driven out their other tribes in the valleys below to the vast unattractive wastelands of the west. In this small village of 100 people was the surviving elder, Ghigau (gee-gow), which means "beloved woman" and is 145 years old! She was mostly confined to her small cabin, taken care of by her great great granddaughter Tsistunagiska (sis-tuna-jeeska) which meant "wild rose" .They were in the cabin one night when suddenly...Ghigau awoken!
"NO, it can't be!"
"Ghigau, whats the matter, whats troubling you?" Tsistunagiska asked
"It's here, it has returned!!"
"What has returned?"
"....many centuries ago, our people were living fruitfully, enjoying the abundance of our harvest and labor, until, he came with such a vengeance, it came from darkness in skies above and crashed into the lazy stream at the mountains near the village. The warriors went up to see this thing, which we couldn't explain, then its presence was astounding, they never seen such a demon before. The warriors tried the best of their abilities to defeat it, but this demon was so powerful, it savagely devoured them one by one, an then it attacked our village an many of our people we're at the mercy of this demon, it even had this legion behind him, so many of these demons, oh it was a terrible sight!" Ghigau told the fable
"What happened next," asked Tsistunagiska
"Then he came, Mohe, he was the greatest of the great warriors, possessing a spear with the sharpest blade and wielding the righteous power of the Unaduti, he aimed his weapon with strict precision and it struck the demon, known as Issideron....then after he defeated him he aimed the spear into the skies above, and by the powers of the Unaduti an the Ama, casted it out into the far reaches of space and time, never to bother our great people or the people of this earth, until now. He has returned, I sense in my spirit," said Ghigau
"Who will stop him?"
"You daughter....you are the descendants of Mohe"
"Oh no, I don't have the ability I cant fight this demon!" Tsistunagiska said
"Yes you can, the Unaduti an the Ama will choose you" said Ghigau
"How will I know,"
"You will know dear....." said Ghigau as she went back to sleep
Tsistunagiska was kinda afraid, defeat an almost indestructible demon such as Issideron?? She was so anxious, and Ghigau never said when an where the righteous spirits will visit her, but Tsistunagiska was about to find out soon....
It had been 3 days an still no visit from the spirits! Tsistunagiska was starting to wonder if her grandmother was just being rattled by a nightmare. But as she slept on her mat, in her dream, she was at the edge of a mountain high in the clouds, and there was a staircase leading to the top, she approached it and when she got up there, she was spooked by this glowing woman behind her..
"Tsistunagiska..."
"Oh, you startled me, who are you, why am I here?"
"I am Ama, the water spirit, for my water nourishes every living thing on the earth,"
Then from the clouds, came a glowing man, with a map in his hand...
"Who are you?" Tsistunagiska asked
"I am Unaduti, the warrior spirit, young girl you are the 4th descendant of Mohe, evil has returned, it has found its way back into the earth an its already causing destruction, you must defeat it! Vanquish it forever!"
"But, but how, what weapon will I use?
"You shall use this spear, it has been hidden for centuries but you must find it, an then go!" said Unaduti
"Yes its imperative that he must be slain, Issideron will plan his uprising an use this planet as his own dominion if he's not dealt with!" said Ama
Then Unaduti gave Tsistunagiska a map, and suddenly the foundation shook an Tsistunagiska was free falling back down to earth...
"Whats, whats happening!!"
"Do not worry, we will be with you on your journey daughter..."
THEN THE DREAM ENDED AN TSISTUNAGISKA WOKEN UP, STILL REELING FROM THAT SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCE! AN RIGHT NEXT TO HER MAT WAS THE MAP, FOR IT LEAD TO THE LOCATION WHERE THE GREAT SPEAR WAS HIDDEN! TSISTUNAGISKA ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE!
The next morning, Tsistunagiska went on her quest, she had the map in her hand and armed with bow an arrow, she followed the map,
"I have a great hope in you daughter, you'll make your ancestors proud...." Ghigau said as she watched Tsistunagiska leave
The map lead her through rough terrain, dense forest, and had to shoot down a bear along the way, but Tsistunagiska was determined, and followed the direction which told her to go north. After 2 days of traveling, Tsistunagiska finally arrived at the spot.....a cave at the edge of this mountain, she went inside but suddenly, THESE ARROWS WERE SHOT AT HER, SHE DUCKED AN RAN, THEN FLAMES STARTED SHOOTING OUT OF THE GROUND, ALMOST HITTING HER,
"This place is lined with many booby traps!"
Tsistunagiska was about to proceed towards this door when suddenly, THESE WOLVES CAME TOWARDS HER! THEY POUNCED AND TSISTUNAGISKA FOUGHT THEM, ONE BY ONE SHE DEFEATED THEM AND WAS BOUT TO KILL THEM WITH HER BOW AN ARROW, UNTIL.
"STOP!"
"Whose there?" Tsistunagiska asked
She didn't take any chances, she aimed her arrow at the unknown person behind her, but he CAUGHT the arrow with his hand and then this man revealed himself,
"I am Kituwa, I am the keeper of these sacred grounds, you must be Tsistunagiska.."
"Yes, how did you know-"
"The spirits have told me a warrior was coming, and I witnessed the way you handled the booby traps....you are going to need those reflexes if you are to fulfill your ancestors prophecy an vanquish Issideron, come with me young warrior, I'll make a fire an some hot tea," said Kituwa
They both sat around the fire, as Kituwa told Tsistunagiska more about Issideron,
"It feasts on human blood, and uses it to feed the eggs inside of it, for it is more than one gender, it has the reproductive quality of a female, and can fertilize its own offspring like a male, thus giving birth to a colony on its own!" Kituwa said
"These symbols on the wall, what do they mean?" Tsistunagiska asked
"Those are the 4 symbols of good an righteousness, and they will be on your arms, so when its time to vanquish this demon they will appear on the great spear as well," Kituwa said
"I am ready to fight Issideron, it cannot claim this earth! Where's the spear?" Tsistunagiska asked
"Hold on young girl, not so fast, you have to develop the skill an dexterity first," said Kituwa
Later on that day, Kituwa took the young girl outside and gave her a few lessons. First in the woods she practiced her reflexes,
"Remember young warrior, Issideron cloaks itself, always be alert in case of a sudden attack...."
THEN KITUWA AMBUSHED THE YOUNG GIRL, BUT TSISTUNAGISKA CAUGHT HIS ATTACK AN BLOCKED HIS MOVES, AND THEN PUSHED HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
"Very good," Kituwa said
The next course was with these wooden spears, the young girl had to aim them at these targets from 50 feet away,
"Just focus, guide the weapon," Kituwa instructed
Tsistunagiska closed her eyes for a minute, and then lifted her arm an threw it with all her might, hitting her target right on point!
"Good good..." Kituwa
This training session gave Tsistunagiska lots of skills, and with each passing day she was more an more refined! Learning reflexes, more agility for higher jumps into the trees, improving her aiming with the spear, and finally tested her fighting skills with the wolves in the forest! After 17 days of harsh training, Kituwa then painted the 4 symbols on the girls arm which were permanent, and then gave her this outfit, braided her hair, gave her the shield, and at last.....the great spear! TSISTUNAGISKA WAS NOW A TRUE WARRIOR!!!
"You are ready young one....but just one more thing," said Kituwa as he gave her this necklace with a blue stone that illuminated
"This is your navigator, follow it towards where the demon is located,"
"Thank you Kituwa, thank you for all your training, it is time...."
Them Tsistunagiska set out on her journey, the stone pointed to the southwest, and she walked down the rough terrain, through deep streams, and endless valleys, till she approached this edge of the moutain, with an interstate highway below. The Necklace pointed to flatbed truck speeding by, so Tsistunagiska leaped onto the back and hid with the cargo....and this truck just so happened to be on its way to Memphis, where Issideron was located!
9 long hour later, Tsistunagiska arrived in the Memphis area, she knew she was getting closer when her necklace was glowing brighter and brighter! An what happned seemed like divine intervention...THE FLATBED TRUCK PASSED RIGHT BY THE WOODED AREA WHERE ISSIDERONS SHIP WAS AT! Tsistunagiska jumped off the truck and went towards the woods, but suddenly, she saw these heavily armored US Marshals, THEY MADE THE WOODED AREA A NO TRESPASSING ZONE!
"Look at her over there, we got aliens an now people in Justice League costumes....lord this town is crazy!" Said one Marshall making fun of Tsistunagiska
"Mam, wonder woman or whatever you are, this place is restricted" said the other Marshall
WITHOUT WARNING, TSISTUNAGISKA JUMPED HIGH INTO THE AIR JUST LIKE SHE TRAINED, OVER THE UNSUSPECTING MARSHALS, AND SHE WENT DEEP INTO THE WOODS, FOLLOWING THE NECKLACE AS THE ENERGY KEPT GETTING STRONGER AND STRONGER! THEN FINALLY SHE SAW IT....THE SHIP COVERED IN DIRT AN FOLIAGE, THE YOUNG WARRIOR WAS ABOUT TO GO INSIDE TO FACE THE ENEMY WHEN SHE HEARD GUNSHOTS BEHIND HER..THE MARSHALS WERE SHOOTING AT HER
"WE GOT A TRESPASSER, WERE AT THE ALIEN SITE, SHE SEEMS ARMED!"
TSISTUNAGISKA DIDN'T WANT TO FIGHT THESE GUYS BUT SHE HAD NO CHOICE! SHE TOOK OUT HER ARROWS AN AIMED THEM AT THE GUYS GUNS, SHOOTING THEM OUT THEIR HANDS! THEN SHE USED HER SHIELD LIKE A FRISBEE AND IT HIT BOTH THEM AT ONCE! THEY WERE KNOCKED OUT AN TSISTUNAGISKA THOUGHT SHE COULD PROCEED...BUT THEN, SHE FELT A NEEDLE IN HER ARM, THE REINFORCEMENTS ARRIVED AN SHOT HER WITH A TRANQUILIZER, she was knocked out....
When she woke up 5 hours later, and as she jumped up she realized SHE WAS IN A JAIL CELL!! And her weapons were nowhere to be found, including the great spear! Tsistunagiska was almost in panic, but she decided to kneel and mediate. Suddenly the FBI director, Moris Chesterfield, interrupted her meditation...
"Who are you?" he asked
"Im Tsistunagiska, please sir let me free, Issideron is planning a colony and I need to stop him before he has more victims,"
"Wait how do you know this things name?"
"I was sent to vanquish him, I'm the descendant of Mohe who fought this demon centuries ago, and thats his great spear right behind you, these symbols on my arms are from the spirits..." Tsistunagiska said
"So you one of those coo coo Native Americans, send her back to the reservation,"
But before Morris could doubt her, suddenly the spear lit up with the symbols and it floated BY ITSELF, the Marshals watched in shock as the spear slashed the metal bars and freed Tsistunagiska!
"Now do you believe me?" she asked
"Look i'm sorry bout the confusion, its not everyday we run into a mystical warrior gurl! We will be glad to use your help um... whats your name again"
"Tsistunagiska, it means wild rose,"
"Yeah listen, I'm having trouble with the name, so for the time being what we're gonna do is give you a temporary name..."
"What will I be named?"
".....Lynn Jackson, Its the only other nametag we have at the moment," Morris said
"Actually, I like it," said Lynn
An it looks like the Feds finally got some supernatural assistance! A warrior girl named LYNN JACKSON, who will stop Issideron and vanquish him for good, but Issideron has been busy in past few weeks, and has a big surprise for Lynn....
