The man eye light up when he remember someone of the description. He has secretly followed her one day to see where she is going. " I know her! She lives in a small house before that hill over there." He point at the hill not far away from them. it is surrounded by trees.
Jerry heart race. He did not know he was close to her all this while. He left without thanking the man.
" umhf! what arrogance not even a thank you!" the man said at his back. Jerry looked back, he did not say anything but his glare said it all. The man look away and accelerate, he did not want to stay a second with this dangerous man.
The only thing he could is to pray for the safety of the lady. Jerry walk in the rain to the said hill, he did not know if he will find her their or not. The word of that man could not be trusted. He walked a little into the forest until he saw a little house not far off. He moved closer to the small house, part of the roof has removed due to the strong wind that accompany the rain just now.
The building is on the verge of collapsing due to the heavy rain fall. He quicken his footstep and enter the house. He saw someone crouched in the corner of the house with her eyes closed and head placed on her knee. She huddle weakly and her body trembling uncontrollably. Jerry moved closer to the person and lifted her head up . His heart twinge in pain to see her. The person he has been looking for in this state. Her face pale drain of colour and her body covered with bruise. Jerry is also wet from the rain compare with little roof over her head she is totally drenched in rain. She felt the presence of someone she open her eyes weakly , she remember this face the the business mogul that do visit their restaurant.
Although, she has met him few times she felt secure in his presence and she has been having this feeling that she has met him before. She wanted to say something but her lips tremble with cold and her body hot has if she is placed on fire. In hunger, cold and pain Susan finally loss consciousness in his hand. He can not even think of what could have happened if he did not arrived in time. He carry her and race to his car with his long leg it did not take him long. He opened the back seat and place her gently on the seat. Her body was burning,her cloth wet and her body bruised. He was fuming with anger as he sat in the car, whoever touch her like this must pay for it.
He fish out his phone to make call to his friend " I want you to be on standby!" he barked to the person on the other end. His friend flinched when he heard him roar, he wonder what happened to him to shout like that. He panicked and call him back, he can not allow anything bad happened to him.
He is his personal doctor and he knows his condition well. As he was still calling him back his phone rang again. " Get me the helicopter and come to the suburb now. You can track my phone to get my location!. " He cut the call without waiting for him to reply. Peter sigh before he stand up from his seat to carry out his friend order. Jerry has weigh his options well, he knows if he drive down there it will take up to an hour before he get there but helicopter will be fine. He sat there looking like a grim reaper. He has to find out who did this to her.
He call again " I want you to check all the security cameras in the suburb especially around warm restaurant and all its perimeter for any assault on Susan. You have five minute."
" yes boss!" the man replied. He is not new to the name and he knows next thing to do. He hack into all the surveillance camera and in three minute he get want he wanted. He saved the part he wanted and send it to the boss.
The helicopter arrived, Peter sigh in relieve when he saw Jerry in good condition. They transfer Susan to the chopper and have the nurse change her cloth and put her in hospital gown. Jerry follow after them. He can not leave her alone. He will have someone take his car back to the capital.
The helicopter land on the rooftop of the hospital in five minutes. Susan was rushed to the emergency unit of the hospital. " Peter! I want you to get Cathy here now! I will not have you treat her!." Jerry yelled at his friend. How can he let a man treat his wife.
Cathy rushed down to the emergency unit. She is there female friend, they all grew up together and attend same elementary school. She is well know female surgeon in the country. She just came out of the theater when Peter call came in. She is tired but can only comply. "Jeremiah Tim? What do you want this time?! " She said with straight face. Jerry glared at her. She also look at him not backing down. "Cathy, just get in there and treat her!"
"....and who are you to shout on me? do I look like your employee? why can't you treat her yourself!?." Peter look at the two bickering. He shook his head. This as always been there way , one is not ready to back down for another." Cathy! it's okay. Please just check on her. She is burning! " Cathy smile when she heard 'she' " our darling cold CEO has finally get laid." She said with amusement. She went inside the room and treat her before she is transferred to Vvip ward.

Susan lay on the bed pale. She talk incoherently in her sleep. ' please don't kill me, please leave me alone. let me go .!'
Jerry came in . His eyes welled up when he heard her pleading in her sleep. He did not know what happened to her before but what just happened really traumatized her.
He step outside to settle all her bills and to change his cloth to dry one Matt has send earlier on. He moved closer to her and peck her. She frown in her sleep, showing her discomfort.
Jerry sat on the other bed in the room to continue his work. A lot of work has pile up for him that needed his attention. He must clear of his workload to stay closer to her . He can not entrust her safety to any one except Cathy and Peter. He stood up to look for them.

In Cathy office.
Cathy sat in her chair with closed eyes. She need to take a nap. She slowly opened her eyes when she heard her office door opening.
" Mr CEO? what are you doing here? do you want to have my appointment terminated." Cathy said with sarcasm.
Jerry ignore her,he sat down in front of her. " Cathy? we need to talk."
Cathy look at his expression and knows he is serious. She sat up straight to listen to him.
" You remembered Susan I told you about?"
" yes, I know she is the one."
Jerry raised an eyebrow at her. He did not know when or where he told her. He was not surprised thou. She knows how to source for information.
" How did you know?"
" Mark!"
Jerry nod with only one word he know he is the only one capable of doing that.
" I want you to carry out all the necessary test on her. "
Cathy nod her head I. understanding. " Don't worry, I will do my job. Put your mind at rest."
" Thank you." Jerry said with sincerity.
Cathy smiled at him. She is surprised with the word. This arrogant guy has never tell her that except to bicker with her. She wanted to tease him but she is tired and needed to rest. Jerry stand up to leave but what Cathy said made his step halt.
" Have you thought of her reaction when she wakes up?"
" No but I believe you will help me with that when the time comes but let her recover first." Jerry said without looking back. He went back to Susan room to continue with his work. As he was working he remember the footage. The click on the video . In the video Susan closed at work and went out of the restaurant with one other lady behind her. The two of them went down the town when three guys that look like hooligan block their path. The hooligans surrounded Susan, before she asked them what happened one of them slapped her. The other lady ran away.
The guys did not spare Susan at all they beat her and drag her on the floor. She wanted to shout and call for help but they stuff her mouth with wool. She pretended to loss consciousness. "Guys, let's go. one of them said and they all disappeared into the night. The other lady that has ran away came back and kick her. " The most beautiful girl, now stand up now." Sonia laughed hysterically. She is satisfied with the job. Not long after they all have left, Susan stand up leaping to her house.
Jerry face darken after watching the whole video. He clenched his finger. He carefully stand up and go out of the room. He gave the video to one of his bodyguard to watch. The latter watched the video and nod at his boss without been told twice he left the hospital hall to do the necessary.
