It was a stormy night outside camp half blood when the remaining 7 hunters of Artemis arrived.
drenched from the rain they stumbled down half blood hill, shivering from suddenly stepping out of the rain.
They approached cabin eight but were blocked by a curious centaur. "hunters, why have you come and where is your goddess, Artemis?" the centaur asked looking confused.
the hunters sneered at the male and after a while they reluctantly answered, "Milady asked us to stay at this male infested camp, until she comes to get us so we can continue our hunt." the lieutenant sneered, while pushing past the male.
they continued making their way to their lady's cabin until they heard a voice that they were sure they would never hear again, "Hunters, please try to be nicer to him he was once my trainer." a husky voice that melted all the hunters came from the shadows.
immediately the hunters turned towards the voice, looking as though they were stuck in a trance just by the sound of the voice.
a man with obsidian coloured hair with honey brown streaks in it stepped out of the shadows as if it was the most casual place to be, his sea green eyes, spiked with red and rimmed with gold scanned over the hunters, his full lips that were shaped in an exact replica of Eros's bow turned down in a frown that caused his soft chin to scrunch up.
he folded his hands, looking dissatisfied, "where is Artemis and why are a few of you missing?!" he demanded, clenching his sharp jaw and crossing his muscled arms over his strong chest.
the hunters immediately saddened at the mention of their lost sisters, "the missing hunters were lost last week when we were camping in Maine, fighting the Minator. Artemis asked us to come here while she went on a solo hunt for an animal she refused to tell us about." the hunter next to the lieutenant said sadly.
there was a moment of silence then suddenly, as one the hunters faces of sadness morphed into that of anger, then pain and back to anger.
the hunters all looked up at the 6'9 man in front of them with glowing silver eyes and pained faces and spoke as one, in a cold, chilling voice that didn't belong to them, "PERSEUS JACKSON!! where have you been! I was searching for you for 30 years until I realized that you would return when you wanted to, I was depressed that you left me willingly. Turns out that all men really are the same." the voice rang, to most it was frightening and chilled them to the bone but to Perseus it was warm and sweet but the words spoken by the voice hurt more than being cut to pieces by 'the blade of the pit' did.
he stayed frozen for a few seconds before he replied "Artemis, how can you say that, you are my best friend and I am your guardian, I would never leave you willingly but I had to, I will explain when we meet again in person." he explained solemnly with his head held low as though he was about to ahead a tear or two.
