The waves roared loudly as the wind slammed them against each other making the sound seem akin to the roar of tigers and lions.
As Arch's body landed into the waters, the heavy waves quickly covered Arch's body. Kind of like the countless hands of the underworld wishimg to have just a piece of him.
His body was instantly swept away by the strong running currents of the water. Sounds of forces akin to the strength of a bull ramming through the wall was constantly created.
One might just say Arch was a lucky dying man or might be unlucky because the force was offset by the old man's dead body landing in the midst of the rushing force reducing the force to a barely acceptable level, creating Archie's body enough opportunity to land almost safely.
The instant he landed, he was swiftly carried away by the running currents traveling at a slightly constant speed of almost a hundred miles per hour.
…
After a while, Arch came to which was totally unexpected since had resigned himself to die. His mind was a fuzzy mess though. He couldn't really remember things clearly at that moment.
After his eyes cleared enough to let him see, he swept the surroundings with his eyes.
Although, he still wasn't able to move his body, he could still see and he saw he was in a cave.
Well, he was lying at the entrance of the cave, the rocky cave entrance pricking softly into his body. With the small water currents brushing lightly against his body.
He could feel his body again, and that, improved his mood by a little. It signifies that he wasn't going to die just yet.
Although he had no idea how he got there. Nevertheless, he was quite happy he hadn't died off yet.
Cough! cough!! Cough!!!
He coughed heavily. Puking away the water still in his throat out. Observing carefully, his situation was actually slightly a lot better than before.
The devouring force spreading from his chest towards his head and currently still at his neck, had been stilled somehow.
Archie guessed it was someway suppressed by the water from the river. The scorching devouring feeling in his body had also reduced by a considerable amount but Arch knew it was only temporary. He couldn't remain in the water for long though as he would need to get out out some times though.
At least if he could survive from the severe blood loss, he might not even survive the onslaught of the devouring force.
As he could now move his body a bit. At most he could sway his body a bit.
Rolling his body through the rocky surface so his back would lay on the floor instead of his chest.
As he swayed his body, using the momentum from himself, he rolled back successfully but his shirt was trapped by a sharp stone sticking out from the rock.
Ripping his shirt out slowly until it was all ripped out.
Archie was unaware of that fact, even if he was aware, he wouldn't care as his current situation was a lot more important than that.
But that marked the beginning of Archie's adventure.
The most important item arch had ever owned was the bloody fragment which he hept hidden in the secret pocket he had personal created for the bloody fragment slid silently out of the pocket since there was nothing holding it back.
The bloody fragment slid backwards from Arch's chest silently and due to the downward slope between his chest area and his neck.
The bloody fragment continued its way down his Archs chest, bouncing a few times due to its uneven edges ending up popping into Arch's slightly ajar mouth.
Arch felt it in that instant but his bodies reflexes was faster.
Gulp!
He swallowed down the bloody orb by mistake!!!
Although he wasn't aware of what he had just swallowed, he knew it wasn't something good.
He coughed desperately trying to get whatever he had just swallowed down. He doesn't have enough strength to force it out. He could only lay helplessly as the thing went down his throat into his stomach.
He waited after a while but nothing happened making him relax his tense body.
As he wanted to fall to sleep unintentionally, he felt the familiar burning sensation resumed it's spreading. It seems the suppression from the water ain't enough to stop it's advancement.
Arch began to slightly panic but soon realised it was useless to panic since there was nothing he could do about it, he left it all to fate, and if fate decides he dies now, fighting fate right now was useless, he could only hold in to his life for much longer but everything in the world has its limits.
As he thought it through, arch decide to hold on much longer at least when he truly dies, he could die in peace knowing he died while trying his best
As if fate heard him, David felt a foreign energy emanating from his stomach filling his body slowly at first but continued to climbing upwards like a sleeping dragon awakening from a thousand year of slumber, radiating from inside his body outward.
The climbing energy rapidly rise at an immense speed making arch felt as if his blood was boiling from the shear energy.
Although he felt his blood boiling, he doesn't feel any scorching feeling from it.
Ba Dump! Ba Dump!!
His heartbeat sounded out throughout the cave disrupting the calm atmosphere.
His heart pounded out from his chest like a caged beast trying to break free from its restraint.
The energy made his blood circulate rapidly as the sound of his heartbeat resounded throughout the cave.
The energy began spreading outwards as from inside his stomach towards the rest of his body like an ink dropped into a pail of water.
As the energy spread outward towards his flesh, a series of chain event took place in that instant marking the beginning of his hell.
