Before then remembering Kassandra causing him to finally notice he was in her room and in her bed? Causing Kassandra to slightly shake her head.
"One shouldn't leave a child in the care of those who drink frequently, while I fear Keira may have taken you to a brothel sooner than she would a dungeon. As for Lady Aurora, one shouldn't remain in her company more than once a day. One should always be wary of those who thrive on questionable acts"
Kassandra softly pointed out. And causing the young prince, having remembered what he heard about Aurora to nod in agreement, of course he still loved her and trusted her to no end, but he didn't want to raid someone's tomb!
While soon enough he had soon learned how long he was truly asleep, and the fact that Kassandra continued her training while also cleansing him and taking care of him after shooing Keira away once more due her becoming a pest.
Before then ultimately reassuring him as the sun began to slowly rise as if on cue, and soon enough after eating breakfast, morning training, and following Kassandra around as if a lost puppy.
Something Kassandra didn't truly mind seeing as his behavior was contrary to that of Kiara's? Mind you Kassandra didn't truly mind Keira, her timing was simply awful most instances.
While she was overall a close and trusted friend who she occasionally had to shoo away or keep preoccupied with, while busying herself.
While the young prince or rather as she knew him, Aurel, was similar in the regard that he could also be trusted seeing as despite her behavior, Keira kept trustworthy company.
While Kassandra could even imagine both her and Aurel becoming even close over time if not even sooner?
He was presumably a big 'fan' or whatever that may entail while also obedient, kind, observant, and quite seriously took her thoughts into account.
They have also slept in the same bed together while he clearly trusted her more than a child truly should.
However, when considering he held her at a pedestal and felt safe enough to express his thoughts while even mentioning his trial while withholding very little else, it was clear to her he had already take quite a few steps in that direction.
While presumably after taking her thoughts and observations into account, alongside experiencing that trial he mentioned.
He was both competent, efficient, and eventually finally found his way while eager and perhaps even excited to learn from her.
So much so that she felt the relationship was fairly similar to that of hers and Lady Frostma's and their master and disciple relationship overall.
Resulting in Kassandra considering him more or less an unofficial disciple more than anything else, unfortunately this was younger Kassandra who had already completed her discipleship with Lady Frostma.
So chances were she had quite a few things to experience for her to turn into the modern-day Kassandra.
While to the young prince, he saw several differences. She was of course younger, however her essence was practically the same, she also didn't mention the gods or rather her distaste for them.
Of course, that was probably because they had yet to descend.
While another big one being she didn't have any children and lived fairly alone despite The Draconian Palace being indeed massive.
In addition, she wasn't as cold or rather simply someone who expected the best of you without the assistance from the gods.
To be handed everything means your entire purpose is to be a doll to be played with by the gods, albeit that's what future Kassandra believed.
While younger Kassandra had become the way she was on her own without blessings, gifted knowledge, or any other advantage outside of what she had been born with.
And that of Lady Frostma's Wisdom, outside of that, she had earned it all through her own efforts.
Resulting in the young prince admiring her even more because of it resulting in him adorably removing any or all of his blessings he hadn't earned that he didn't truly need.
Which wasn't a lot when considering, but enough for him to feel better! Soon enough as the sun began to set after a day of contemplation the young prince came to a decision!
And soon enough after entering Kassandra's training yard to train with her he wanted to bring up such a decision.
Resulting in him shyly whispering into her ear, and slightly surprising her by his decision.
That decision being he wished to restart his path as a mage. To put it simply, the magic in this era was unrestrained and free, it was hidden like in future eras meaning it was The Golden Age of Magic!
Everything was drastically better and pure, unlike his spells and fighting style which he had barely managed to live with in this era due to them being weaker to the original. Meaning he was weaker when compared to this era's Archmages!
He wanted to be a mage of this era, he wanted to be free from the magic constraints of the future! Of course, he didn't mention the future and only wished to restart his path as a mage.
In truth he had gone so far as to erase the deluded forms of magic research he had learned along the way and only kept that of Selphie's, Hanah's, and Frostma's Magic Knowledge outside of some fundamentals that never truly changed.
He wanted to start at a clean slate with knowledge he had known weren't diluted versions or knowledge that meant very little, hence the reason why he wished to focus entirely on this era's magic.
Resulting in Kassandra slightly nodding after noticing how truly committed he was to improve himself even at the cost of losing his current progress and abandoning his title of Archmage to one day return stronger than he was.
Causing Kassandra after taking a moment to look into his eyes to see if he was truly certain resulting in him nodding.
Before then remembering something else and whispering into her ear surprising her even further before then slightly nodding.
"One who is a product of a goddess, with bloodlines you don't truly comprehend, while lacklusterly used to purposedly limit your knowledge would no doubt be an experience one would wish to escape. Your wish for salvation through not that of gods but through yourself is something so few would truly seek"
"However, if one truly wishes, then one should always lend their aid, as will I. And if your wish is to be reborn as a true dragon and start your journey anew, then I'll no doubt support such a decision. To seek one's freedom is what every dragon should desire"
Kassandra softly agreed, causing the young prince's eyes to sparkle in a new light.
While soon enough after Kassandra had made her preparations, the first step was to 'safely' cripple his mana, which was in fact the easiest step, however, after doing so and ensuring there were no negative side effects.
The next part was giving him her Crimson Dragon Bloodline, and ensuring he successfully goes through a Dragon's Rebirth.
Which in simpler turns allows one to become a true dragon, however he would have to make a sacrifice and dominate the bloodline and make space for it.
And because Kassandra was The First Empress of All Dragons, and The Future Draconian Empire, she had access to them all.
And the method she used can only truly be done by her, while the only true bloodlines she would ever be willing to share would be that of a Crimson Dragons and Frost Dragons.
Resulting in the young prince having already had a Frost Dragon Bloodline to then prefer The Crimson Dragon having felt some attachment to it while he heard she also preferred such a form.
However, the sacrifices he'll make would be equaled out as per the valor of such sacrifices.
Resulting in him sacrificing his Void Bloodline that somehow survived and returned, alongside both his Shadow and Blood Elf Bloodlines and that of Aurora's and their Dragon Counterparts.
Which would include Shadow, Blood, Void, and Ethereal Golden Dragons.
The reasoning being the dragon bloodlines were within the elven ones, and even if he hadn't had access to any of them aside from Aurora's, he still had them.
While the reason why he chose to sacrifice them and store their bloodline aspects elsewhere as not to kill them, is because he didn't want so many bloodlines.
Meaning he will only really have his Celestial, Elf, Dark Elf, and High Elf Royal Bloodlines, while his pure dragon bloodlines that are exclusive.
And direct bloodlines of their own right would be Frost, Crimson, and Black Dragons. Dragon Forms are only a fraction of the true Dragon Bloodlines.
Resulting in after sacrificing so many bloodlines, The Dragon's Rebirth or rather whatever this process was really called had ultimately accepted them resulting in the outcome being quite overwhelming.
To sacrifice so many bloodlines, let alone those of unique and greater races hadn't been done before due to how precious they truly were.
Of course, the young prince didn't truly mind, however he may have thrown too many rocks into an active volcano.
Resulting in the process being quite severe and surprising Kassandra having known he had several strange bloodlines but didn't believe it would produce such a reaction.
Up until she manually compensated and widened the paths to alleviate the overcompensation.
Until finally, his mana had safely returned and the process was completed, however as a result the quality of his mana was.. to put it simply absurd! Let alone the sheer capacity?!
To think The Golden of Age of Magic was this superior?!
While even if that was the case, he had returned to that of a mage apprentice.. could it be because of the unrestrained mana in this world? Or perhaps it was because the dragons were even more unrestrained during this era?
Confusing him to no end having realized the generational dilution of magic and those within the future was simply that overwhelming. Until finally he opened his eyes and looked into a mirror, revealing that of his changed appearance?
He now had black obsidian hair, crimson ruby eyes, and snow-white skin, however unlike Kassandra his hair wasn't colorful obsidian, his eyes weren't fiery, and his skin didn't sparkle?
However, that didn't matter to him! She was special and he was simply happy that they now shared something in common!
Causing him to tearily smile before then immediately hugging Kassandra without a second thought, he was simply happy beyond measure.
"Bi-Big sister.. I won't disappoint you!"
The young prince happily promised, before then lovingly hugging her even tighter, causing her to slightly shake her head.
"One should always take responsibility no matter if it produces a negative or positive result, so I'll take responsibility and reintroduce you to magic. While you may also wish to grow accustomed to your new identity?"
Kassandra softly reassured, causing the young prince to happily nod before then worriedly whispering into her ear, causing Kassandra to slightly shake her head.
"I've long since completed by training five centuries ago, I merely do so now as a form of relaxation"
"One should never lose their senses due to idleness, while one should always prioritize their responsibility no matter the luxuries you enjoy. However, for one who is indeed fond of magic, I consider it a mere luxury"
Kassandra softly teased, surprising the young prince having felt a hint of teasing, causing him to happily giggle and Kassandra to slightly smile.
Soon enough after three more weeks, Kassandra had made him one of her in home official disciples.
Resulting in her ultimately training him and assisting with his magic path even further, what was even more comedic was she comparable if not even better at teaching than Lady Frostma in some areas.
Those areas being silent teaching, pointing out his flaws, and striking to ensure he remembers.
Be it in magic or a swordsman, what was even more curious was the fact that he had also abandoned his title as Junior Artisan and restarted that path as well!
To put it simply he wanted to take advantage of The Golden Age of Magic as soon as he truly could! And thanks to Frostma's teachings, he did so happily with the help of Kassandra who also taught him in a very similar way?
His daily schedule was fairly simple, first he'd wake up in Kassandra's arms and take a bath, second they would eat breakfast.
Third she'd continue her preparations for The Draconian Empire while the young prince happily watched, fourth they'd eat lunch in the library while he learns magic and magewreaths during his breaks.
Fifth is generally a break time that usually lasted five to seven hours, sixth was studying while watching the sun set, and seventh was midnight dragon activities and ultimately going to sleep!
All of which would become a daily practice, resulting in him becoming a High-Level Highmage during this time.
