With Elaina in my lap, it was getting harder and harder to concentrate on what we needed to discuss. I had to persevere somehow.
"Elaina, we still need to talk." I struggled in between kisses. She shook her head as she continued trying to kiss me.
"Elaina, seriously. This is important." I said getting weaker. Just as I was losing all resistance, she put her hands in my pants but it made me snap to attention.
I picked her up and put her on the bed next to me, "Elaina, we talk. Now." The woman pouted for a moment before she straightened herself back up.
"Can't we have just a little fun before we get to serious business?" She pouted. This was a very time sensitive case so I could not afford to waste time.
"I would love to, trust me, but I need this information, however minute it is." I replied seriously. We could get back to pleasure after business.
"Now onto what I need to speak to you about. The tournament coming up, how well do you know all the participants?" I said now sitting across from her. My whole demeanor had change from only a few minutes before.
"Well, I do not know nearly as much as Supra but I know a little something about each contender. You have met Lion so I will skip her, but the next is another of the few who will prove to be a challenge for you. His name is Hollow." She said while brushing her hair in the mirror. That name was new to me.
"Oh? And who might that be? What significance should he have to me? I have never heard his name so he must be a forgettable appearance." I laughed cockily. How could any nameless foot soldier even hope to stand against me?
"Well, alone I doubt you will have any problems with him. But his strength lies in his ability to perfectly cooperate with anyone he sees. There have been times he has partnered up with someone for the first time while fighting but it was so fluid, almost like they had been together their whole lives." Eliana said focusing on remembering the battle she spoke of. His strength was intriguing. Him teaming up with Lion could prove to make this an interesting tournament.
"Oh? Well I should hope he can live up to the standard. It would be nice to have at least a little competition in this tournament. I would hate to go and waste my time in some random vampire tournament that is not required." I laughed. The tournament was somewhat intriguing but not enough to warrant any extra attention.
"I have seen you in battle, we all have. I know you are strong but you should still watch your back regardless. No one will be there to cover you in the tournament. It actually would not surprise me in the slightest if all the other contestants teamed up to eliminate you first. You against over fifteen other vampires would not end well for you I suspect." Eliana said looking at me intently. She was doubting me like everyone else did.
"Again with the doubts. I do not understand how I have not cemented my place among you already. I am the strongest. I will not leave any room for doubt after this tournament. Pay attention to this because I am going to send a message." I replied in a huff.
There was no way the princes would let me kill the others but if I could play this in my favor, I could certainly cripple all the others. They were certainly not walking out of this unscathed.
"Just calm down. No one doubts you. We just want you to be safe. There is not a single vampire in this base who does not think you can easily beat every other recruit with relative ease in a 1 vs 1 battle but that is the point we are trying to make. This will not be a singular fight.
No one knows the extent of your abilities and all the recruits are going to take precautions against you. I would not be surprised if they are making deals as we speak." She said truthfully. I had not thought about it but it made sense they would try to make alliances to fight me. I was all powerful compared to them.
"Those rats!" I angrily yelled. "I will put them in the dirt. How dare they stand against me? I am all powerful. This will not be taken kindly!"
Eliana watched as I went through a fit of indomitable rage.
'This betrayal will not go unpunished' I thought to myself. The anger I felt was unusual but I just attributed it to the demon.
"You have to show them why trying to gang up on us is a bad move. They cannot be allowed to do as they please any longer. We will put them down." The demon whispered angrily to me. For once, we were in somewhat of an agreement. I moved to the other chair to put my leg up and my elbow on my leg to think about how best to punish them all.
I spent well over an hour in the same position without moving a muscle focusing on how to hurt them all. By the time I was finished, Eliana had long since undressed to lie down in her bed. She was twirling her finger around the bed when I came to.
"Ah, yes, I forgot you were here." I said looking at her. She perked up hearing my voice before patting the bed next to her. With one quick motion, I stripped my clothes down and jumped in the bed. I did not know this woman so I did not know her kinks and turn-ons.
After an hour of teasing her and having a few laughs, I pulled her over onto me. She was all wet before I ever even penetrated her.
Hours passed in what seemed like minutes. It was almost noon before I even had the chance to sleep. She wanted to go round after round.
When I awoke, Eliana had already left. My clothes were folded in the chair I was sitting in before. My pants went on first then I left while I was putting my shirt on. 1 day until go-time.
Since I had nothing on the schedule, I decided to take a hunting trip for some exercise. As I was walking through the woods, he spoke to me.
"You need to talk to that Lion person you seem to care so much about. If she has a hand in this mutiny, she will be punished the same as the rest." The demon said holding my right leg in place so we stopped moving.
"I do not care about this woman. I just met her. What makes you think that?" I said feigning ignorance. The sweat was starting to come out from that one question.
"You cannot lie to me. I am the only one you cannot lie to. Your pulse quickens when you think of her and your pheromones run rampant. Both signs of attraction." The demon said teasingly. He laughed as I continued to try to lie about it.
"You really do need to have a talk with her tonight about what happens tomorrow. I have a feeling I will need to come to your aid but when that happens I will have no mercy against any who stand against me. She can be knocked unconscious quickly but if she is part of that little coalition, she will be hurt just like the rest." The demon said seriously. Just by the change in tone, I could tell he was not kidding around.
"We will speak to her after we get some hunting done. I want to try someone from the police force this time. I want to have some fun." I said back as we started walking again. There were no objections so I took it as him being on board. We arrived in the city not too long after. It was eerily quiet.
Even though it was starting to get cooler, the city should not have been so quiet. There was a wall of televisions a few blocks away so I suspected they would be able to tell me what was happening.
"3 policemen were killed in the shoot out earlier with the suspect. The hostage was killed as well." The news person said. Upon hearing this, I realized the smell of blood in the air was strong. The skirmish must have taken place not too far from where I was standing. It would explain why it was so quiet. I wanted to go back to the college to wreak some havoc but I did not have time to do both.
The police station was quiet when I walked in. Everyone was standing with their hats in their hands and their heads towards the ground. It was a silent prayer of some kind.
"What is going on?" I asked the person at the front desk.
She answered in a whisper, "There was a shoot out and we lost some officers; some good ones." The woman seemed not to have any problem talking to me quietly. It was going to make me feel for a few seconds when I killed her.
"Ah, police! Are you ready to have some fun?" I called out throwing my hands up as I walked further into the precinct. Everyone looked at me in surprise calling out to them.
"Sir, you cannot go back there without supervision." The desk woman said trying to chase after me. Without thinking about it, I took my wings out and impaled her through the chest. She dropped to the ground bleeding out. This sent the rest of the precinct into a frenzy. Guns were drawn and trained on me.
"That is what I am talking about. Let's have some fun." I said before transforming and getting to work. It was relatively easy to dispatch all the officers in the station. They did manage to call for reinforcements, though, but I did not have time to deal with any more groups so I walked out the front and flew back to the base after having my fill of blood.
The demon made sure to remind me about Lion when I landed at the entrance. She was my first priority. After looking around for her for a half-hour, I found her in someone's room.
She turned and took off from the room when she saw me. It was no use. I was faster than she was. As she walked by me, I grabbed her arm.
"We need to talk. Now." I said shortly. We went to a separate room so I could tell her what was going to happen.
"I presume that was about the coalition you all are forming against me? I would advise you not to take part in that. The consequences will be dire for those who take part." I said seriously looking her in the eyes.
"I am not going to be a part. I was trying to warn them to call it off and make this a fair fight. They want me to join the group but I do not want to take the chance." Lion said back. She was smarter than I gave her credit for.
"Good. Keep that in mind tomorrow. I will not be able to stop him from crippling them all. He has agreed to let you off the hook with a quick knockout if you do not take part in their alliance." I warned seriously. She thought for a moment in silence before responding.
"Is there anything I can do to stop you from letting the other thing out? Please don't. It is just a newborn tournament. There is no reason to injure them all too seriously, is there?" She begged. She knew I had bad intentions for them.
"I do not much care about this tournament. But they need to know, mutiny gets a serious punishment. Also, I need to send a message to the clan to stop doubting me. Giving them my serious attention is the only way I can see that happening." I replied honestly.
There was nothing I had against any of them but they would not make any coalitions against me in the future. I was going to make sure of that.
"I will not take part in their alliance but I have to give this tournament a serious go. If that means I have to fight you and it then so be it." Lion replied. She was brave. I commended her for that but bravery and stupidity were only minimally different.
"Well then so be it. I will see you in the ring. Do not worry, I will make sure you are not injured too seriously." I said before leaving. There was not anything else I cared to do for the night so I went back to my room to sleep it off. It had been a few nights since I had seen Diach but I pushed that to the back of my mind.
I woke up the next night on full alert. It was fight time.
