BEEP…!BEEP! … BEEP!
My alarm rang and I removed my blanket to get up. It's time for me to go to work later. So I need to have breakfast, take a bath and change.
"Natasha we're going somewhere now." Martell shouted at the door of my room.
" Where?." I asked while arranging my pillows and folded my blanket.
"Have you forgotten, this day is very important." He responded and I wondered why I did not remember. I looked at the calendar and was surprised by what I saw.
"We're just going to visit the cemetery." He says.
"Didn't we just go the other day?." I replied and was surprised because it is July 18 today. So I hurried to the bathroom to take a bath. Then we went to the car and went straight to a flower shop to buy flowers. After a few minutes, we arrived at the cemetery.
"I'll go there first Martell, just follow later, you look busy on your phone. " I mentioned after taking the bouquet of flower we bought earlier. I removed my seat belt and left the car. In a distance, I saw Leighton arranging the blanket and laying it on the grass. I immediately approached and hugged him while holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Are you mad at me for what I did to you?." I asked and let go of the hug and suddenly tears escaped from my eyes.
"Why should I be angry? That's not your fault." He reassured and I was relieved. I wiped my tears and sat on the blanket lying on the grass. When I noticed something strange. I laid the bouquet of flowers next to me and looked at the food he had prepared.
"Why are we having a picnic in another tombstone, isn't Martell's ex buried there, right?. Then there is no name written here on the tombstone next to us. Maybe the ghost buried here will haunt us." I asked and the expression on his face changed.

"Wait, Martell's been in his car for a while, I'll just go and call him." I said, because the food has been placed here for a while and we need to eat while the food is hot. I was about to get up and call Martell, but Leighton stopped me. He grabbed my hand and pulled it away.
"You came here alone Natasha, you were not with Martell, when you came here." Leighton explained as he prevented me from getting up and going to the car to call Martell. I raised my eyebrow and looked to him.
"I am not alone, I am with Martell." I tried to say and pulled my hand back that he was holding so I could stand.
"OK, let's go to your car to see that he is not inside." He added and accompanied me, when we got in the car I peeked out the window but Martell was not there.
"See… Nothing." He says.
"I swear he was with me earlier." I still try to explain but he doesn't listen.
"You need to eat, you have illusions again because you are so hungry." He advised and pulled me to go back to the picnic he had prepared. I was confused because I knew Martell was with me earlier. He even woke me up and reminded me to come here. Now that we saw Martell is not in the car, I wonder, am I dreaming?.
He took out the containers of food he was carrying and opened them. I saw the food he cooked, but all was not allowed to me. Barbecue, Sizzling sisig and wine are in front of us now. Same as we ate the other day. Actually, I was wondering earlier, because this incident seems to have happened again, the other day. Even now that we are in another tombstone and Martell is not in the car.
"Where's for me?." I complained and waited for the food he would give me. I knew he would give me some vegetables because of my illness.
" This barbecue , isn't this your favorite? Get some. " He offered. I was shocked and looked him in the eyes for a while. I looked to see if he was joking at what he was saying. He forbade me, with foods like this, and now he suddenly changed and agreed. He slapped my face gently, which surprised me and I regained my sanity.
"I'm sick, I have Chronic Kidney Disease, Leighton have you forgotten?." I exclaimed but he just smiled.
"You don't want that? I'm letting you now, just for today." He said.
"Can I hug you for the last time?." He requested and I agreed and hugged him.
"What? For the last time? Even anytime." I replied and embrace him again tightly.
"I hope I always eat this, but it's only now." I mumbled and ate a barbecue again. We've been eating here too for a while, and it's just creepy because we were in the cemetery. The wind is strong, and it's nice to hang out here. Lots of trees and far from the households. Suddenly it rained hard and we tried to keep the food away but we were really getting wet.
"Let it go, let's just take a bath, in the rain." Leighton mentioned and I let go of the container I was putting away.
"You're the one who said that, I don't have any extra clothes to change, but it's okay. " I replied and we were completely getting wet in the rain.
We even took pictures of each other while playing in the rain. My body is getting cold because of the heavy rain and wind. I put and leaned my phone on a container, and set the timer. I immediately ran and went behind Leighton as he put his arm around me and we both took a picture.
"Let's dance." Leighton offered and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"We have no music." I said and laughing at the same time but he insisted so I agreed. I put my hands on his shoulders and his hands are on my waist. I can't believe we did this, we can't help but to laugh at each other while dancing. It's cringe, but honestly, I'm thrilled right now. We were soaking wet in the rain but we ignored it. The sound of the pouring rain became our music.
"Don't look at me like that. " I said because he kept on staring at me. I covered my face and turned my back on him. I can't control my own feelings and I don't want him to see me like this. I can feel the heat of my cheeks on my palm, and I know I blushed. I want to disappear in front of him now, but he will only suspect that I really blushed.
"Hey your blushing, you're beautiful, you know that?." He said but I ignored him. My hand still covering my face. I don't know how I'm going to deal with Leighton, it's so embarrassing.
"Stop it!." I shouted and faced him with a poker face. To show that I was not impressed by what he said earlier and that he had stopped.
" You know I'm always here for you, right?" He said and at the same time hugged me tightly. I just nodded at him in response.
" I'm not going to leave you." He added and suddenly my tears flowed.
