When Olivia entered the girl's room she first noticed the sheet that was hung in front of the bunk bed. The girl's room had rafters on the ceilings that gave the room a natural and treehouse feeling, on the rafters fairy lights were hung and the sheet also dangled on a rafter in front of the bunk bed. Olivia realized that the girls were playing a game and were trying to get her involved. So, she went with it and said, "I wonder where Chloe and Chelsea are.... I haven't seen them since they led me to the kitchen. Tommy do you know where Chloe and Chels are?"
Olivia then looked at Tommy, who wordlessly shook his head and grinned. She pretended to look around the room and stopped her gaze at the sheet in front of the bed. "This sheet wasn't here the last time I babysat here.... I wonder what it is being used for?"
All of a sudden Chloe and Chelsea jumped out from behind the sheet and shouted boo. Olivia pretended to be scared, of course. "Ahhhh!" she shouted, "I had no idea you girls were there, you scared me."
Chloe, Chelsea, and Tommy laughed, even the baby giggled like she was in on it. "This is one of our surprises, we put the sheet up and used it as a house when we played family." said Chelsea.
Then Chloe, who looked like she might burst, exclaimed, "Guess what Livvie!?" Then without waiting for a reply, she said, "We got report cards yesterday and we all got really good grades!! I got straight A's, Chels got straight 4's, and even Tommy got a good review from the early learning program." (4's are the highest Chelsea can earn, because she is only 5.)
Olivia smiled, "That is great guys, you are all so awesome. You are going to be smarter than me one day!"
Tommy shyly smiled and quietly said, "We always work hard because you told us that working hard is good. You would be proud of us."
"Wow Tommy, that is really sweet! Of course I am proud of you. You guys know that I am always proud of you, especially when you do good in school and such." Olivia replied, she was beaming. What Tommy said made her long days seem worth it.
Then Olivia remembered that Zion was still here. She reluctantly turned to Zion, who was in the corner, and introduced him to Chloe and Chelsea. She then suggested that they go downstairs to the living room to hang out. So, they all walked down the stairs and into the living room. When they got there, Olivia asked if they had any schoolwork they needed to complete. Chloe said that she needed Olivia's help finishing her mini essay for class and Chelsea needed to do her nightly vocab.
Olivia got Chloe started on her mini essay and then started helping Chelsea with her vocab. Zion, unexpectedly, walked over and played cars with Tommy. For the next half hour or so, Olivia went through Chelsea's word jar and helped Chloe with her mini essay whenever she needed it. Zion kept playing with Tommy, and because Olivia did not trust him, she made sure to keep an eye on him also. When they were finishing the girl's schoolwork, the baby began to cry.
Olivia realized that she might need a diaper change, she stood up, took Jane out of the play pen, and looked towards Zion and the rest of the kids hesitantly. She needed to change Jane's diaper but was reluctant to leave the kids with Zion. Zion, realised her reluctance, so he looked up at her and while looking her in her eye he said, "You can go, we will be fine."
While Olivia was still wary, she would have to trust him for right now. She quickly went upstairs and changed Jane's diaper as fast as possible, without upsetting the baby. As she walked downstairs Jane started *talking* to her. Olivia laughed and acted like they were having a conversation. Every once in a while, Jane would say an actual word or would answer with yes or no and they continued the conversation in the living room for a little while. In the end everyone was laughing at Baby Jane. The Olivia looked at the time and noticed it was already about 7:22 pm and she needed to make the kids dinner.
Olivia put Jane back in the play pen and said, "I'm going to go make dinner now. Do you guys want any leftovers or should I cook something?"
Tommy asked if they could have spaghetti and everyone else was fine with that. Olivia asked Zion of he was going to eat with them. He declined and said he had already eaten, he said while they ate he would just do some schoolwork. Olivia then started to walk towards the kitchen. Chelsea stopped her, "Can I help you cook Livvie?" she timidly asked.
Olivia smiled, "Of course you can Chels" Olivia then turned towards Zion, "While I am cooking dinner with Chels, could you please make sure the kids are fine and no one dies or anything? If the baby cries I will hear it and can come check on her." She asked.
Zion looked up at her with a slight look of surprise, he then nodded and kept playing cars with Tommy.
"Alright then, let's go make dinner Chels!"
