(Alternate World, Imperial Army base, Interrogation room # 14)
Atsuya smashed Kuro against the wall, causing it to crack greatly. But that wasn't the end of the beating. Next, he slammed Kuro to the floor, before stepping on his hands, squashing them.
"Now, tell me what the dark mages are planning." Atsuya spoke in a demanding voice.
But, Kuro didn't give the answer he was looking for. Only laughter came from his mouth.
"Oh… I can't speak on that, Atsuya. If I did, then it would spoil the surprise."
Rather than getting angry, Atsuya only let out a sigh and walked over to the door.
His gaze turned back and gave the dark-hooded man one last look.
"It seems I'm not enough to make you talk. So, I'll let the professionals do their job. And I just happen to know the guy who's going to come talk to you. It''l be in your best interest to talk. He's not as nice as me."
As Atsuya opened the door, he looked at a blonde-haired man who stood outside of the room and gave him a nod.
The blond-haired man wasn't just some ordinary person. He was one of the top 15 wonders of the continent. Only he had a set of unique skills. Some were meant for damage. And the rest were purely for draining a person's mental-state. He was known as Master Humbert Willow
{ Name: Humbert Willow | Rank: S | Occupation: Knight General }
He stepped foot in the interrogation room, wearing a calming, wide smile.
Joyfully, he asked Kuro a question.
"Hello. Would you mind answering some questions for me?"
Still, Kuro gave almost the same response he gave to Atsuya.
"Why would I say anything? I wouldn't want to spoil any fun ahead of us."
"Well then…"
The nice, joyful smile off Humbert's face vanished and all that was left was a straight, dark expression, along with his shining blue eyes.
"....looks like you're a difficult one. Are you religious by any chance?"
"Yes, I am. Are you interested in hearing about it?" Kuro asked.
"No, I'm not. Also, you better start praying."

Amaya stood back, watching the nurses abilities in action. Her hands were pressed up against Katsu's chest, surrounded by a green haze.
"So, is he going to be okay?" Amaya asked.
As the nurse stopped and stood up, she answered.
"He'll'' be fine. I've healed all his Hp but he might feel a little sluggish for awhile. I recommend lots of rest."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome Ma'am. I'm just doing my job."
The nurse then exited the room. Leaving Amaya as she gazed at the injured Katsu who laid on the bed, unconscious. She knew some sort of injury was inbound when they went to the main world, but who knew the injuries would have come from another person. A person who just so happened to be part of an organization called the 'Dark mages'
This caused her to wonder and think.
'Just who are the dark mages?'
From what she's heard so far, she gathered that the Dark Mages had no value for human lives. Not only that but, they seemed to have no fear of dying. All their acts have only caused destruction.
'If they're really planning something then, it can't be good.'
And if need be, Amaya was ready to take matters into her own hands. If she could casually defeat monsters among monsters, then she could surely deal with a bunch of evil people, right?
'I mean, it should be easy if I really have to.'
Tmp Tmp Tmp Tmp
Amaya could just barely make out the sound of many faint footsteps from outside.
'What's that?'
She made her way over to the window and peeked out. There, she saw lots of knights and cavalry moving through the city. Then, her gaze shifted further out, where she saw more knights standing around, as if they were on guard.
'The army's here? Something to do with the dark mages?'
Amaya fingers slid the window open, before she jumped down from the 3rd floor, gently landing outside.
Up ahead, many citizens began to gather as a single knight stepped forward. The knight removed her helmet and spoke, revealing herself as a general from the imperial army.
{Name: Anna Skyman | Rank: Gold | Occupation: 1 of 4 Generals of the Imperial Army}
"Citizens of the empire. As you can see, we, the knights have been sent here. I am Anna Skyman, one of the four generals from the imperial army. There are also many other knights being sent to the other nearby towns as well. We ask that all citizens refrain from exiting the city until we, the knights, say it is safe."
Amaya then knew from the female general's words that something outside of the city was not right.
'I should see if they need my help. I mean, I don't really need to return to the main world for now because the king already sent some more helpers.'
She walked over to General Anna and asked.
"Hi. Umm, mind if I ask about what's going on? I could help."
The Female general turned to face her. The expression in Anna's eyes widened in surprise. She knew well who Amaya was.
"Y-You're…"
Anna bowed in respect before speaking further.
"Legendary-ranked Amaya. How fortunate that you're here. We could use your assistance. Let's speak more elsewhere."
Amaya followed General Anna over to the alleyway of a building, where she discussed the situation.
"To start off with, there are a couple of problems. First problem, one of the dragon's seals has awakened and escaped from its lair."
When a couple knights had gone to go check on it, they found there to be a group of mysterious men, all wearing cloaks. The knights were then attacked and barely escaped with their lives. The mysterious men were identified as members of the dark mages. Which had the power to awake the dragon.
"What about the other problems?" Amaya asked.
"One of the army's bases is under attack as we speak. Large waves of monsters keep moving in. We believe the monsters are under control. But, there's no clue as to what is controlling them."
Even after hearing of the problems, Amaya could already tell that a little too much was going on. Not only that but, she would only be able to go and help one place at a time.
"What about the dragon? Who's dealing with that?"
"We have some of the highest ranked adventures apprehending it. At the moment, any other issues to discuss aren't important. I asked that you make your way to the base and help our forces against the monsters. The dragon can wait as it's on the other side of the country."
With a smile, Amaya agreed to help.
"Sure, I'll go. Just tell me how to get there."

Emi opened the door and stepped inside the room.
"Amaya, I'm back from the restroom."
But, there was no sign of Amaya. The only other person in the room was Katsu, who was laying in bed, recovering.
Emi's ears dropped in sadness.
"Oh. She left again."
