Chapter 1 - The Fallen Kingdom

"Hurry we must get you and the princess out of here!" Kora Royal guard

"Father, why are we evaluating the castle, it's our home?" wondered the Young Princess

"Daughter we must leave for right now, but we have to stay quiet. How I wish the queen was still here..." sighed the King

"If I may your majesty. It might have been for the better that her majesty is no longer with us in this world. It would have hurt her so if she had lived to see her beloved kingdom fall apart, and the royal family is chased away or killed by these ruffians." 1st rank royal servant Jason

"Maybe your right... Jason" replied the King

"There's no time to be talking. Jason help me move these boulders!" 1st rank royal knight Hols

They lifted the boulders one by one in this old abandoned service tunnel. It had been left unused for several generations. It was once used to smuggle and steal food and gold from the palace to the outskirts of the capital by the underplayed lowest rank servants the 12th rank. They were the ones that worked the hardest and paid the least.

These people were treated no better than slaves. So they resorted to stealing to feed their families.

Then when the 23rd king in our bloodlines ascended the throne he made a law that servants were paid a set amount for the number of hours the worked.

"That's it" Jason huffed

The last border had been moved. Still, there was only a two-foot gap between the remaining rocks.

"Hurry, its a tight squeeze but we cannot be here any longer!" Kora royal guard

BAM!!

A loud sound came from the first floor of the castle directly above us.

"Father I'm scared!" The young princess whimpered

"Never mind that we must keep going.." the King replied
