Battle Arena at its essence was an advanced format of 'Capture the Flag' game where in place of capturing flags, the players were instead tasked with dismantling the other team's towers.
.
::RULES::
1. Each team was given 3 towers to place anywhere on their half of the field.
2. Two sides fight and compete to see who can disassemble the other party's towers first.
3. Each player has an HP which is calculated digitally through the damage sensors on their exosuits.
4. When a player's HP reach 0, the player may no longer play for the rest of the match.
.
::TOWERS::
1. The towers in Battle Arena are 2 meters tall totem pole shaped 'Tower Puzzles'.
2. Each one has 3 sections containing: upper, middle, and lower section.
3. Each section has a series of components that people can either slide, push, pull, and rotate from the outer surface of the tower to break apart the section.
4. The objective of 'dismantling' a tower is to break apart the interlocking smaller parts that made each section stood on its own by moving around the various components on the surface of the tower.
5. Only the 'Solver' position in a team may touch and solve the Tower Puzzle.
*TL;DR: It's a puzzle. Think of it like 3 rubix cubes combined into a shape of 2-meter-tall cylinder.
*The tower is to be solved and dismantled, not attacked or damaged.
.
::POSITIONS::
1. Guard
Zone: 15 meters radius around towers (tower zones)
A position that guards the tower and "can only move inside the 15 m radius around towers". Its main job is to intercept Solvers and prevent them from dismantling their towers.
2. Ranger
Zone: Anywhere outside tower zones
A position that scouts enemy formations and commands the team. It is a playmaker position similar to Point Guard, Midfielder, or Quarterback in other sports, and it is the only position allowed to use ranged weapons.
3. Fielder
Zone: none
A position that carries the Solver(s) of the team and prevents them from being downed or interrupted by the Guards during their time dismantling the enemy's Tower Puzzle. The only position with no zone restrictions and can move anywhere on the field.
4. Solver
Zone: 15 meters radius around any 'Fielder'
A position that scores points for the team by solving and dismantling the opposition's tower. Usually requires someone with fast hands, good memory and quick reflexes to solve puzzles under chaotic situations. The only position that can touch the other party's towers.
*Each position (except for Fielder) has different zone restriction that they can move around in.
*However, during a match, every player was given a total of 5 minutes of 'Restriction Disabler' function that can be turned on and off to remove their zone restriction. Allowing them to move freely.
.
::WIN/LOSE CONDITIONS::
1. All opposition's towers disassembled.
2. All opposition's Solvers knocked down (0 HP).
3. Time Limit reached (decided by number and degree of towers dismantled).
