~A long time ago~ Continuation of Silas' POV:
I panted as I held my sword in my hand, wore out from training hard. It felt heavy to me now... my small body trembling as it struggled to stay on it's feet. I fell forward into Lyle and then into the floor at his feet, curling up as the sword clattered out of my hand and across the floor. I heard him whine as he looked down at me. He dropped his sword quickly and dropped to his knees, scooping my head up into his lap. It had been almost six years since he came to my family and joined us. He was fifteen now and I was just two years younger than him.
"Come on boys~" I heard my father laugh. "You're not tired already.... are you?" I whined and snuggled up to Lyle.
"Daddy... do we have to?" I asked and opened my eyes, looking towards my dad who was standing on the sidelines, watching us to instruct us. "Who uses swords anymore anyways?"
"We do. You do. This family does. Now up up. I want you both to grow strong in this art." He motioned us back up.
"The sword's heavy," Lyle whined out. "It hurts my arm." I nodded quickly to my dad.
"Yeah, the swords are heavy, and I'm hungry too...." I whimpered and sat up a little though so dad wouldn't fuss too much about us being on the floor. "Can't we take a break?"
"Okay. Five minutes," he warned. "I'm going to go check on Ella and Sylar." Our dad started to walk off to go find mommy.
"Five minutes? More like an hour," Lyle whispered in my ear. "You know how daddy gets." He giggled as he watched our dad leaving. I purred as I waited for him to leave then tackled Lyle into a hug.
"Lyle~" I purred happily then leaned in towards his neck, hungry. He yelped and froze up.
"Silas!" He whined. "I thought you were tired!"
"I am, but I'm hungry," I whined to him then pulled away from his neck, looking him in the eyes. "You're tired too, aren't you?" I can't drink from my sweet brother if he's tired like me.... I'll make him exhausted. "Let's ask a maid to bring us some blood," I suggested and then shakily got to my feet. He nodded and groaned as he got to his feet.
"Let's go," he told me and reached out, snatching my hand up. He pulled me towards the door and looked around for a maid in the hall. I spotted one quickly and gave a sharp whine towards her.
"Miss, can we have something to drink, please?" I asked her sweetly, walking up to her. "Dad is making us really tired...." I can't believe we have to train more tonight too! My body feels so sore and weak... and Lyle manages to get me most of the time anyways. Lyle giggled and sniffed the air, running up to a window quickly to look out at the garden.
"Okay boys~ I'll bring you two some blood." She looked us over. "Shall I bring it to you in the night room?" I looked towards Lyle then at her.
"No, the garden," I told her and smiled tiredly then walked up to Lyle, grabbing his hand. "Want to go to the garden?"
"Yeah!" He yelled and giggled. "I want to smell the pretty flowers," he whispered and touched the window.
"I'll have the butlers help set up a table out there," she suggested before leaving us. I smiled and then started to pull Lyle away to the garden doors.
"We can sneak off and not have to practice anymore tonight if daddy can't find us," I told him and giggled at the thought. He might be furious later, but it'll be worth the break for the rest of the night~! "Let's explore the maze a little."
"BOYS!" I heard father calling for us. "LYLE! SILAS! Come here!" I could hear him towards the night room. I whined and stopped walking. What now?! I looked towards Lyle then sighed.
"I guess we should go see what daddy wants," I mumbled and then started to pull him towards the night room. Darn it! This better not be trying to keep us in his sights.... I don't want to practice anymore tonight!
"EVEREST! ESTHER!" I heard my dad calling for our younger siblings that have gotten away from mom's sight and more into playing somewhere else. After all, Esther was now nine and Everest was only a year behind her in age. "YOU TOO! NIGHT ROOM! NOW!" I frowned. What's going on? I hurried as quick as my tired body would let me and went into the night room with Lyle then paused at the door as I saw Esther and Everest had beat us here.
"Daddy, what's the matter?" I asked him curiously, looking around. In front of us was the Nero family...
"Loura and Jonas came to visit and they brought their children~" My mother said sweetly as she held Sylar in her arms, bouncing him on her knee. Loura and Jonas had sat down across from my parents.
"Why don't you take your friends outside to play," my father suggested.
"We would but-" Lyle was cut off by my father's look. "We're delighted you came, come play outside," he mumbled out. Jason gave a huge smile as he heard the idea of going outside. Jason.... he was the oldest out of the kids here and if you ask me... a bully. Just a year older than Lyle. Primrose was a year younger than me.... while Xzander and Zachary were eleven and ten.... Emily was actually the same age as Esther. So they had some girl connection they shared. This just means Lyle has to play babysitter and gets made fun of by Jason because he can't handle everyone.... Especially when he has me! I frowned and looked them over before I looked at dad then at the others.
"Let's go," I muttered then grabbed Lyle's hand, pulling him out of the room. Esther giggled and followed us with Emily, talking to her excitedly about some princess tea party or something like that. Yuck. Girls are weird.... "I wanted to be able to drink my blood in the garden with you... alone," I whined to Lyle then looked over my shoulder at the unwanted Nero family. House crashers.
"Lyle~!" Jason purred as soon as we were all out of the night room. He was suddenly in front of us and snatched him from me. "Hey~" He purred and gave him a tight hug. "I really~! Missed you." He looked towards me and smirked. "Don't you want to play with me instead of pipsqueak over there? I'll teach you something new...." His hand started to run down my brother's body... My innocent brother's body. "We could.... play house."
"What's house?" Lyle asked. I snarled at Jason.
"Get your hands off my brother," I hissed and exposed my fangs at him. "He's mine." I snatched Lyle back and then put him behind me, glaring down Jason. "Go get your own!"
"SILAS!" I heard Sylar giggling and running out of the night room. "Mommy said I could come too!" He yelled as he ran quickly for me with open arms. "SILAS SILAS SILAS!"
"How come he doesn't call for me?" Lyle asked and frowned before yelping as Jason grabbed him while I was distracted and took off with him.
"Let's ditch. Three is a crowd," Jason laughed out in his ear. Sylar tackled my legs then and giggled.
"GOTCHA!" He yelled. I yelped then looked down towards my baby brother and scooped him up into my arms with a frown.
"Sylar, I'm a bit busy chasing bullies," I told him then looked after where Jason ran off with my brother. You know what... no one takes my brothers like that and calls me a pipsqueak! Stupid jerk! "JASON!" I shouted angrily then chased after them, holding onto Sylar instead of setting him down. He'd cry... and then I'd get in trouble. Sylar giggled and climbed onto my shoulders, holding onto my hair.
"Get him~! Get him! Get him!" Sylar cheered me on.
"Look, that loser is coming after us." I could hear Jason laughing. "He wants to play house too. Should we let him?"
"Yeah, he's my brother.... He's not a loser." Lyle told him.
"You're weird. You don't even smell like him," he laughed out. "What are you? A bastard?"
"Huh?" Lyle asked in confusion. "What's a bastard?"
"BAD WORD! BAD WORD!" I could hear Emily yelling from behind me. I frowned. He called me a loser too, and he called Lyle a bastard! I'm going to get him. I growled as I got close then sat Sylar down and tackled Jason, throwing him up against a wall. I'll show him! I narrowed my eyes and then glared at him.
"I challenge you to a duel!" I hissed at him. I'll get him just like daddy has been teaching me and scare him away for good!
"A duel?" He asked and laughed. "You want to play a game with me?"
"Uh- Uh- Silas? Don't duel him...." Lyle trailed off quietly.
"We're watching a duel! We're watching a duel! We're going to a duel today!" Sylar yelled. "Big brother is going to win! In your face!" He pointed at Jason. Jason frowned as he watched him then smirked before shoving me off.
"Sure! We'll fight. When I win, Lyle is going to be playing with me and me only when I'm over. Got it? Loser." He pointed in my face with his index finger. "Now... Where's a sword I can use?" I smirked at him. Oh... like I'm going to play fair when Lyle is at stake. I'm the only one that gets to play with Lyle!
"Right this way," I purred to him then started for the ball room where my father had been teaching us to fence. I'll make him use the heaviest sword we have! Hah! He'll be so clumsy and stumbling around that everyone will laugh at him, and he'll be the loser!
"S-Silas," Lyle whispered. "That's not a good idea.... Tell him it's not happening..." He looked Jason over before following after me quickly. Sylar ran up and grabbed my hand quickly. I could hear Jason coming after us quickly with the rest.
"Lyle~ Come walk with me." Jason purred and snatched his arm. "After all... You're going to be by my side for a really long time after this." I clenched my jaw and kept my eyes forward as I stalked towards the ball room, ignoring Lyle's plea. I got the doors and went inside, walking up to my sword then picked it up and then looked at Jason as I walked over to the swords to the side of the room that my father had prepared for when Lyle and I were older and stronger. I looked them over and selected one of the heavier ones and held it out to Jason.
"Here, they've been blunted to where we can't cut one another, but it will cause a bruise if you strike hard enough... and this is a fencing match. That's why the swords are not traditional looking," I told him calmly and looked him over with a small smirk. If he says anything about it being different from mine, I'll use that ego of his against him. He took it from me and kept a calm expression as he looked it over.
"Nice and heavy," he said calmly. "I like it that way... it means when it hits you... You'll feel it twit." He looked up at me and smirked.
"Silas," Lyle whispered softly. Sylar ran off quickly to daddy's chair and crawled up into it. "Please don't do this..." I frowned a little. I guess I better be quick and not stand in his striking zone for too long.... I looked him over then looked towards Lyle.
"Why not? It's a friendly fencing match," I told him and then walked out to the center of the room.
"Because..." He trailed off. "Jason is older and stronger than you," he told me softly. I heard Jason laugh and follow me. Lyle moved to the edge of the room quickly. "This won't go well...." he shook his head. He won't be shaking his head when I win. I looked him over then stood at the center of the room.
"Silas," I heard Everest whine. "Daddy might not be happy because he's not here to supervise." I frowned then. I didn't think about that.... I looked towards Everest and Lyle then before I glanced at Jason. I can't back down now though. If I did, he'd never stop tormenting me. I have to teach him a lesson.
"Then go get daddy," I told Everest calmly. "We'll wait."
"Yeah, we'll go get our parents to supervise!" Emily said quickly. "Don't move." She yanked Esther out of the room then.
"Jason...." Lyle tried.
"Shut up squirt," Jason hissed. "You're my prize, not my authority." I growled at Jason then.
"Show some respect. This isn't your home," I told him then narrowed my eyes. I can't wait to knock some sense into him. "Besides, Lyle isn't a prize. He gets to do what he wants. This is between me and you."
"I know but he's still my prize," Jason purred. "He's going to be my playdate everytime- I come over." He winked at Lyle then.
"What happened to the garden trip?" Lyle asked innocently. I frowned at Jason. Jerk.
"He's not a prize. If you win, then you can keep calling me loser until I eventually beat you," I hissed at him. "If I win, then you can't keep calling me that. Lyle does what he wants, and you can't have him. He's my brother," I snarled then exposed my fangs.
"Whatever," Jason said lamely. "He'll still be mine. He's my best friend and there is nothing you can do about it." He smirked and looked towards Lyle. "Right?"
"Huh? Ummm..... You do come over to my house...." Lyle trailed off.
"We're best friends," Jason hissed.
"Ummmm....." Lyle rubbed the back of his neck. "I only have one best friend.... and that's-"
"Me~!" Jason purred out. I frowned and then looked Jason over. Why does he even come over? I looked at Lyle then and frowned.
"If you're best friends with him, then I'm not playing with you in the garden anymore," I told him and gripped my sword tighter.
"But.... you're my best friend," Lyle whispered softly.
"You little...." Jason hissed and started for him. "He's your brother so he can't be your best friend! I am your best friend!" He snarled.
"Ummmm... That's not right." Lyle told him. I frowned then got between Jason and Lyle.
"Stay away from my brother," I told him firmly and tilted my chin up. "We're supposed to be having a match anyways, jerk."
"I'm not a jerk! He's my best friend and I want to take him away from you. That's not being a jerk. That's what friends do. They run away together and play alone together~" He winked at Lyle.
"What's the matter with your eye?" Lyle asked. I frowned and looked at Jason.
"Yeah, what is wrong with your eye? Is it a disease?" I asked him and wrinkled up my nose in disgust. "Ewww, you should've stayed home. No one wants you here."
"What? You two are idiots. It's not a disease. It's a flirtatious gesture. You'd know if you two weren't so caged up."
"What's a flirtatious gesture?" Lyle asked. "What's that mean?"
"I think that's what mommy and daddy do," I told him and gagged. "Ewwwwww! Jason is being girly! The maids talk about that kind of thing!"
"Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" Lyle yelled and held his ears. "Jason's acting girlie!" Jason rolled his eyes and looked annoyed.
"You're so innocent Lyle. You're fifteen. You should know these things. You too dork," he pointed at me. "You're thirteen so you should be learning from Lyle. What's wrong with you? I guess it's a good thing you have me to teach you all about what mommies and daddies do together alone at night."
"Have babies?" I asked him and made a grossed out look. "Lyle and I don't want to learn how to do that. Babies are gross. They throw up everywhere."
"We already have to deal with Sylar," Lyle whispered quietly.
"I HEARD THAT! I LOVE YOU TOO!" Sylar yelled and giggled. "My big brothers are sitting in a tree!" Jason face palmed quickly and let out a groan.
"If Jason wants to be like a mommy or a daddy, he belongs with the adults," I told Lyle and wrinkled up my nose. "He'll infect us with his disease of wanting to be like them."
"You two should be more like them at this point. Haven't your balls dropped?" Jason asked.
"They drop balls all the time," Sylar said. "They like baseballs, basketballs, footballs.... only they don't catch, they don't pitch, they drop them. They don't do well at sports." I heard Zachary giggling in the background. I frowned then looked at Jason.
"I'm telling daddy that you're trying to make us like mommies and daddies," I told him then frowned. Where is daddy?
"No you won't because they'll give you the talk! You don't want the talk. Because then you'll no longer be kids in their eyes. You won't get presents from the tooth fairy or santy clause anymore," Jason purred evilly. I widened my eyes a little and gasped. No more... presents? No... I frowned and looked him over, thinking it through. Do I sacrifice my gifts to get him in trouble? You know what....
"I don't care," I told him and growled. "I want them to throw you out of my castle. They'll tell your parents that you know what mommies and daddies do, and then you won't get any gifts either, and daddy won't let you play with us anymore because he doesn't want us to be like mommies and daddies."
"No he won't...." he laughed softly. "He'll have us going together to the young parties. The parties where girls are.... then he'll be setting up marriages for both of you." He teased. "You'll become mommies and daddies." He laughed. "My parents gave me the talk already." I growled at him then hid Lyle behind me.
"Daddy wouldn't make us hang out with girls. They have cooties!" I wrinkled up my nose. "You have cooties! You hang out with girls, and you're girlie!"
"I don't want mommy and daddy to know," Lyle told me. "I want presents still. I still have a loose tooth to loose and my fangs aren't in all the way yet."
"Hahahahahahahahahhahahaha!" Jason pointed at him and fell over laughing. I growled. I'm going to get him good!
"I don't care! I want him in trouble!" I told Lyle then growled, starting after Jason in anger and stomped down on his foot. He yelped and looked up at me. I heard my parents come in then.
"What are you doing?" I heard my father ask me. "Silas! Don't hurt your guest."
"Mommy, daddy, Silas and Jason are wanting to duel but I told them not to...." Lyle said quickly.
"Jason," I heard his father say quickly. "I hope you're not causing trouble again." I whined and stepped back from Jason.
"Daddy! He's being mean! He called me a loser then called Lyle a bastard after trying to take him away from me to play house with him alone!" I cried out and dropped my sword, running towards my dad. "He's a bully, and he says we're idiots and that he's going to teach us what mommies and daddies do, but I don't want to do what mommies and daddies do!"
"Really?" My father asked and chuckled as he looked at my mom. "He's just wanting you two to catch up to him." He rubbed my head. "He's older than you two and feels left out."
"Jason," I heard his father say. "You know you're not supposed to talk to them about what we told you until they're your age. What's this I heard about you calling them names? Get over here right now." He stomped his foot down. "I don't even want to know what you meant by house with Lyle."
"Umm... Yes daddy." Jason got up quickly and walked over, dropping the sword. "I didn't mean nothing by it. I was just being a guy. They're such babies and can't handle a little name calling."
"That was mean what you said," his mother hissed.
"I was just rough housing," Jason said innocently.
"Apologize," his father said quickly.
"I'm sorry," Jason said and looked straight at Lyle. Lyle looked him over and gave a nervous smile. I frowned. Jerk. He specifically looked at Lyle.
"Apology not accepted," I hissed his way. "I want a duel!"
"You're not ready for a duel," my father told me. "You've got more training ahead of you. Lyle is more ahead of you and eligible. I like your enthusiasm though. That'll be great for you to have in your years to come." He rubbed my head to comfort me.
"It wouldn't be fair at all," Jason purred out. "I'd trample him." He giggled. "He's so much younger than me."
"Jason," I heard his father do a warning tone. "Please don't start up a fight with your friend."
"You know, I think it's time for dinner," my mother suggested.
"No way!" I hissed then glared at Jason. "I'm going to win!" I started for him then, picking my sword up off the ground.
"Silas! Never charge someone weaponless in a duel," my father yelled at me. Jason looked me over and laughed before running up to his sword and kicked it up to his hand before turning to me and raised his empty hand above his head and motioned to come at him.
"I believe the expression is on guard?" Jason asked. I narrowed my eyes at him then got into my fighting stance.
"Daddy," Everest whined and ran up to my father. "He's smaller than Jason! He'll get hurt!"
"Relax. He'll heal quickly if he does get hurt," my father said. "He's a young vampire." Jason smirked as he looked down upon me.
"Silas," Lyle begged. "I don't want you hurt. Please stop." I growled.
"No way, he's rude, a jerk, and I'm not letting him push me around anymore! I'm sick and tired of him!" I hissed then started for him, going to strike. Jason laughed and rushed me with his sword, swiftly knocking mine from my hand and putting the blade to my throat before I could react.
"Again?" He asked. I widened my eyes as I looked at the sword pointed at my throat then frowned, looking towards him. Jerk.... I backed away then glared at him.
"Again," I hissed then snatched my sword back up from the ground.
"Daddy, this is not going to go well," Everest cried out worriedly. "Daddy, stop them!"
"Two out of three," Jason purred in amusement. "Fine by me." He circled me then, eyeing me over for my weak points. I growled lightly at him as I watched him closely, keeping my eyes dead on him and exposed my fangs. I'm going to get him this time.... I'm not letting a bully like him get me anymore! He doesn't care about anyone but himself! He's a big fat jerk, and he calls me loser all the time! I'll make him a loser! I snarled and went after him, knocking his sword out of his hand as anger coursed through me then hit him directly in the chest with my sword.
"Jerk," I hissed at him, glaring him down. He laughed as he looked towards his chest before grabbing my blade and brought me to him before he snatched the sword out of my hand and threw it quickly. He went for his sword then as he threw me to the side.
"Now who's name calling?" He asked as he got his sword and turned on me. I hissed at him. He threw my sword! I didn't do that to him! I glared and then went for my sword, stomping over to it. I'm going to wipe the floor with him! I swear I will! I'll make it so he'll never look at me like I'm weak again! I snatched it up then looked towards him, holding my sword up.
"You're gonna lose," I muttered under my breath angrily and narrowed my eyes. I'm not going to lose to a jerk like him again! No way! He laughed as he watched me before charging me quickly and swatted at my feet, knocking me over. He walked up and pointed towards my face.
"Maybe I should come over and help you out sometimes," he said and held out his empty hand for me. "Come now.... we don't have to fight, do we?" He asked. "I rather be your friend. Love over war." I frowned as I looked at his sword then at his hand. This feels like a trick. He's going to call me a loser behind my back... or as soon as mommy and daddy aren't looking.
"You're just going to bully me more," I muttered to him, staying where I was. "You're only acting like that because your daddy is watching." He laughed and tossed his sword before forcing me up by my shirt.
"No. I don't want to fight you. I do like annoying you." He rubbed my head. "That's what older kids do to the younger ones." He grabbed my chin. "Sometimes it's reversed." I frowned and looked at him, squirming a bit.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked him and looked him over. Why is he holding my chin? He's going to try something as soon as no one is looking.... I know he will.... He let me go then and grabbed my sword and tossed it before walking towards his parents.
"I heard dinner~!" He said. "I'm starved." I frowned and watched him over before I rubbed my neck a little then looked towards my dad then looked at Lyle, going to him and grabbing his hand quickly. Everest looked relieved that it was over and ran up to mommy excitedly.
"I'm hungry too mommy," he purred sweetly to her. Lyle hugged me tightly and leaned into my neck.
"You're okay," he whispered. "I thought he would do worse..." He trailed off.
"Let's make our way to the dinning room," my mother suggested. I heard Esther and Everest cheer, running out of the room excitedly.
"DINNER! DINNER! DINNER!" They chanted, racing down the halls. I looked towards Lyle then hugged him with a purr.
"I got him," I purred proudly. I smiled then, cheering up as the realization hit me. "I won one of them."
"I'm proud of you too," Lyle whispered. "I would have never won against him." I giggled then.
"Sure you would've. You're stronger than me," I purred to him and kissed his cheek then looked towards daddy with a huge smile. I won one in front of daddy! He gave me a smile as he looked me over.
"Come on," he called to me.
"Silas!" Sylar yelled and ran up to me, tackling my legs. I yelped then looked down at my attacker before I giggled and scooped him up into my arms, holding him close.
"Hey little bro," I purred to him then put him up on my shoulders and looked at Lyle, grabbing his hand as I started to lead us towards the doors.
"Don't forget about me," Jason said from behind us and grabbed Lyle's arm. "You're still my best friend so walk by me." He yanked him to his side. "You can sit with me at dinner too." I frowned then looked at Jason and snatched Lyle back to my side.
"Nuh uh," I told Jason and growled slightly at him, walking out of the room with my brothers quickly. I heard Jason hot on my trail.
"Yes." Jason hissed. "He will." He yanked Lyle back. "Please sit with me?" He asked.
"Uh-mmmm," Lyle gave a nervous smile. "I think my mommy has plans about where to sit us." I smirked then. Mommy will place Lyle with me then because mommy knows that we always sit together!
"Mommy always has plans," I purred to Jason then smiled.
"Mommy does have plans. I know them," Sylar said. "Jason isn't sitting near us. In fact he's on the other side of the table from you two." I giggled then.
"Mommy is great," I purred then looked up at Sylar. "Are you sitting beside me?"
"Nu-uh.... Everest is.... I'm stuck between Esther and mommy- no wait.... You're by Esther. I'm by Everest." He giggled. "Emily is sitting across from her." I whined then.
"I don't want to sit by girls," I whined out and looked at Sylar. "Trade with her."
"If I trade spots with her then Primrose has to trade spots and then Jason will be stuck alone with no one to talk to. I done talked with mommy about it. She wants him by Primrose and daddy but also across from mommy. I'm by mommy and she's by daddy. The girls are in the middle. Then you're sitting across from-" he frowned and started to count in confusion. "Uh oh.... I forgot someone.... Oh yeah. You're by Everest who is by Esther and Everest is sitting across from Xzander but you're across from Zachary. Lyle is by you but next to Jason's daddy and across from Jason's mommy." He nodded a few times in deep thought. "Yep. That's everyone." I sighed and nodded.
"Okay," I mumbled then rubbed his foot lightly. "I'll suck it up for tonight." I glanced back at Lyle then purred. I can't wait till it's bedtime and mommy reads us both to bed and then we can curl up together without that Jason bothering us. Sylar giggled and kicked his foot against me softly.
"My foot!" He giggled out. I giggled then started to lightly tickle his foot to mess with him. He squirmed in my arms before leaning into my neck and bit me lightly with his baby fangs. I yelped then looked at him.
"Sylar," I whined then frowned as I caught the scent of my blood. At least it doesn't hurt that bad.... His fangs aren't really big.... He giggled and started to suck on my neck.
"Is he feasting on your blood?" Jason asked in disgust. I frowned and looked back at him, getting defensive.
"He's my brother," I told him and then rubbed Sylar's back. I looked at Sylar then purred softly as I cradled him in my arms. I guess I won't complain about him drinking from me. He won't take much. He ran his tongue against my neck and moaned softly.
"Isn't he supposed to ask?" Jason wondered. "My father said that vampires are supposed to ask," he said quickly.
"Uhhhhmmmm.... Yeah, but I don't mind," I told Jason and purred, giving Jason a smile as I held back from pulling away from Sylar. Why is he licking me?! He started back to sucking on my wound again.
"Silas," Lyle whined as he looked us over, jealousy in his eyes. I widened my eyes a little and looked at Lyle.
"W-what big brother?" I asked him. Why's he looking at us like that? Is he wanting my blood too? I can't feed both of them! He looked me over and gave me a sweet smile.
"You just called me big brother," he whispered and gave me a loving look. I giggled as I looked to him and reached for him.
"Well yeah, of course~ You're my big brother," I told him and purred. He looked me over before pulling me into a hug and buried his face into my neck. I giggled and wrapped my free arm around him then kissed his cheek happily as I let Sylar feed from me.
"You know... if you're hungry Lyle then you can feed from me," Jason suggested.
"No thanks," Lyle said quickly and kissed my neck. Wait... is he trying to feed from me too? I frowned a little and tightened my grip on him.
"Lyle," I mumbled and hid my face into his shoulder. Lyle whined before pulling away from my neck.
"Ok," he whispered to me before giving Sylar a jealous growl. "Lucky." I frowned and looked towards him then bit my bottom lip.
"F-fine," I told him. "Don't take too much from me though," I whispered and looked him in the eyes.
"No.... I'll have some tonight at bedtime," he told me and kissed my head. "You owe me." I frowned.
"Owe you? What's that supposed to mean? I don't owe you anything...." I adjusted Sylar then gently started to move his head away from my neck, trying to get him to stop for now.
"All the times you drank from me," he whispered quietly. Sylar whined and pulled away from my neck, giving me an angry look. I frowned and looked at Lyle then nodded.
"Okay," I whispered, remembering all the times that I drank him then looked at Sylar before I rubbed his cheek. "Are you still hungry?" I asked him then purred before I moved his head back to my neck. "Okay, but don't let mommy catch you."
"You're about to have dinner," Lyle said jealously towards Sylar. "Lay off." He snatched Sylar from me quickly. I widened my eyes then before I frowned at the two of them.
"He's not hurting me," I told Lyle quietly and looked them over. "Let's go get dinner," I suggested and purred, wanting them to stop before it turned into a fight if it would. Why's Lyle so jealous? Lyle looked me over as he held our brother close to him.
"He's going to ruin his appetite and then he won't eat dinner and mom will be mad." Lyle looked him over then. I relaxed then and giggled.
"Oh, is that why you're so upset?" I asked him then giggled before I started to bounce off down the hall. "You're such a good big brother making sure Sylar eats all his dinner!"
"Well he's not eating all dessert," Lyle said. "I'd be mad." He followed after me, holding our younger brother. I giggled and looked back at him.
"He'd rot his fangs out," I purred then looked at Sylar. "That's why you eat everything on your plate when mommy gives it to you- so you can get strong like me and whip Jason's butt in duels."
"One time," Jason said. "I let you do that." He laughed out from behind me.
"Did not," I growled and whipped around to face him. "I won that fair and square!" I purred and grinned then as I looked at him. "You just don't want to admit you got beat."
"I got you two out of three," he purred as he looked me over.
"I got you one of the three though," I purred back to him. "One day I'll have you three out of three, and I'll be stronger than you."
"I don't think so.... maybe if I'm an old man and you're a young sport," he laughed out. I giggled at the thought.
"No, I'm going to get you the next time I challenge you to a duel," I told him confidently. I'm going to work hard to get him. I want to beat him and show him what it's like to be on the other side of the sword. I'll get him back for all those names he called me! "But for now... I'm going to train hard to get you." He laughed a little as he looked me over and smirked.
"Sure," he purred. "I hope you do work hard to become the best you can be." I widened my eyes a little then purred happily. For once, he's not being a jerk. I gave him a huge smile then and laughed.
"I will. Just you wait and see! You know..." I bit my bottom lip then looked him over before I rubbed my cheek. "I guess you're not that bad."
"Of course I'm not so bad! I'm actually quite nice when I want to be. I do love messing with you two though. Right Lyle?" He asked and chuckled. "You're my favorite to mess with." I hesitated before I smiled at him then reached for his hand.
"Come on, let's go get dinner before mommy gets mad," I told Jason, trying to be friendly to him the best I could. Lyle has Sylar to carry so that way Sylar doesn't pounce on me again.... I heard Lyle giggling softly under his breath as Sylar started to kiss his cheek. I giggled and glanced towards them before I grabbed Jason's hand and started to lead him down the hall. "I wonder what's for dinner.... I hope we have cookies for dessert~!" I laughed and smiled happily as we neared the dining room then got the door for everyone, purring at my brothers and Jason.
"I want brownies," Lyle mumbled. "No! I want cake!" He walked in quickly and sat Sylar down on the floor before taking his seat Sylar said we were assigned to. I giggled and raced over to Lyle where I was supposed to sit then got in my seat, purring at Lyle.
"Cake, cookies, and brownies!" I smiled sweetly then grabbed his hand, purring as I kissed his cheek. "I can't wait to see what dessert is.... Mommy! What's for dessert?" I asked, looking towards her quickly in excitement. She'd tell me. "Mommy, mommy, mommy~" She laughed as she walked up to her seat and helped Sylar sit in his before sitting down.
"Key Lime Pie," she told me. I giggled then.
"Pie~" I purred happily then kissed Lyle's cheek again. "We're having pie~! Mommy, can I have dessert first?" I asked and looked towards her, my tummy growling. "Pweeeease?"
"No. Absolutely not. You know you eat dinner first," she scolded. Jason laughed as he sat down across from her, giving a smirk my way. I frowned and looked at him then sunk down in my seat.
"No fair... I wanted dessert...." I won one of my matches against Jason! I pouted and picked at the table cloth. Once everyone was seated at the table, the servants brought in dinner. Giving us all spaghetti, bread sticks, sauces to dip in, and a glass of blood- or tea (since the kids of Nero family were human). I looked towards my blood and exposed my fangs hungrily. Finally~ I've been wanting this since practice was over! I giggled and picked it up, drinking it quickly.
"Hungry, aren't you?" Zachary asked as he watched me curiously. I purred and downed it then looked at him, licking my lips.
"Uh huh~" I told him innocently then glanced towards a maid, giving a pleading look for more blood. Sylar took some from me.... She laughed and nodded.
"I'll be right back," she told me as she took my glass from me and walked away. I purred and then looked at my spaghetti, starting to eat it and giggled.
"The sauce looks like chunky blood," I whispered to Lyle and held in a laugh. Lyle looked at me and gave a cute smile as he was already cleaning his plate slap clean, eating way too fast. I giggled and smiled at him then slurped down my spaghetti noodles. I purred loudly and moaned a bit as the spaghetti sauce tasted so good with the slightly salty noodles. The maid walked up to me with my glass and sat it down in front of me before stepping away. Lyle finished his plate and grabbed a bread stick, dipping it into the cheese sauce before eating it and moaned. I looked towards the glass of blood with delight and grabbed it, ignoring the rest of my dinner as I lightly pushed it away and started to drink the blood quickly, leaning back in my seat. Lyle grabbed his glass of blood before swallowing it down greedily. I looked towards him as I finished my glass of blood then giggled. "Are you starved?" I teased him lightly. He acts like he hasn't eaten in awhile. He looked towards me and blushed.
"What? No..." He shook his head. "It just tastes so good," he whispered. I heard my dad chuckling lightly. I giggled then hugged my brother before I purred and moved out of my seat and into his lap, curling up to him.
"I'm full," I told him sweetly then leaned my head against his shoulder with a purr.
"Silas," Lyle whispered. "My belly is too full for you to be on my lap," he whined. I giggled and then kissed his cheek before I got off and giggled, running for the door.
"Mommy, can I play a game before bedtime?" I asked sweetly, pausing by the door. I have that game to complete in the night room....
"I thought you wanted dessert," I heard her purring. I paused wide eyed and then ran back to my seat quickly and climbed into it.
"Uh huh, I want dessert," I told her eagerly, pushing my plate of spaghetti away.
"Finish up your plate," she told me sternly. I pouted and looked towards my food then whined before I started to eat it. I'm full though.... I ate it quickly then pushed it away, looking towards her pleadingly. She laughed and nodded towards the maid behind me. The maid walked over to the dinner cart and brought me a plate with a slice of key lime pie on it. I purred and picked up my fork before I started to eat it.
"Thanks mommy~" I said sweetly and giggled. Dessert~! Finally~! The maid also sat a plate down for Lyle as she took our empty plates away. I looked towards Lyle then blushed as I remembered he wanted my blood at bedtime then ate another bite of my food. I wonder if he's too full.... He'll probably pass right out with me. I smiled then and finished off my pie then sat back in my seat, looking around at everyone. Lyle quickly ate his slice before scooting away from the table and looked at our mother.
"Can I be excused?" He asked.
"Sure sweetie," she purred. He looked towards me and kissed my cheek before taking off running out of the room. I frowned and then looked after him before I got up and raced after him. Where is he going?!
"Lyle," I whined, running out to him. He giggled as he turned around to look at me from down the hall.
"What?" He asked me.
"Where are you going?" I pouted and walked up to him then frowned. He ditched me at the table.
"Going to our garden outside," he told me and pointed to the window. "I want to go before the sun comes up." I looked towards the garden then giggled.
"Okay, let's go together," I purred to him and grabbed his hand, pulling him off towards the doors to go outside to our garden. I smiled softly as we got outside then ran off towards the silver roses nearby and purred, smelling them then looked towards Lyle. Lyle glanced around and gave me that look like he did when I first met him and brought him out here. I giggled and then ran up to him, grabbing his hands. "Silly, come here," I purred then kissed his cheek before I brought him over to the silver roses. I looked them over before I picked one that was unblemished and dethorned it quickly, being careful not to cut myself. I purred and gently placed it in his hand. "We can ask a maid to give it some water for our room." He looked it over and giggled before nodding and gave my cheek a small kiss.
"Thank you," he purred. I smiled to him and then giggled.
"Hey Lyle," I purred then gently shoved his shoulder. "Tag!" I ran off quickly, giggling as I ran around a bush to get away from him. I heard him giggle and run up to a bench, placing the rose down before he ran after me.
"Silas!" He yelled. "I'm gonna get you!" I widened my eyes and then ran towards a tree, climbing up into it quickly to escape him.
"Nuh-uh because I'm faster," I told him from a tree branch as I looked down at him coming up to the tree. "You can't get me up here~!" He watched me from the bottom before looking at a lower tree branch and crawled up onto it, coming for me. I squealed and jumped down quickly, not wanting him to tag me and then yelped as I didn't land on my feet. I whimpered as I sat up slowly, rubbing my head I had hit on the ground then looked towards my knees as I felt a stinging pain in them. I frowned and watched as my knees bled from being skinned by the dirt then started to brush at it. I yelped as I touched it then slowly relaxed as it started to heal. I heard him jump down by me before crawling over my body and went for my bloody knees, licking them. I blushed and looked towards him, squirming. "Lyle," I whined then went to pull my knees back from him. "Yuck, there's dirt on my knees." He grabbed my leg to stop me before he purred and looked them over before brushing my shorts up and bit down into my thigh. I yelped and then whined, looking down at him and gripped his hair. "Why'd you bite me there?" I asked and started to get nervous. He bit my leg! Isn't he supposed to bite my neck? He let out a small purr as he fed from me. I frowned then started to relax, leaning my head back against the dirt as I let him fed off my leg and gently rubbed his head, running my fingers through his hair. I guess you can feed from there.... He seems to like it. I purred softly to him and closed my eyes as I moved my leg so he could get it better. He pulled back after a few minutes and licked his lips, looking up into my eyes. I smiled sweetly at him then sat up, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Big brother~" I purred to him and then kissed his cheek. "Did you get enough?" I could feel my leg healing up quickly from his bite, the blood from earlier making it faster. He nodded before wrapping his arms around me and purred.
"Your blood tastes the best," he whispered in my ear sweetly. I giggled happily and looked him in the eyes.
"Really?" I said excitedly. I taste good.... "I'm happy to hear that." I nuzzled my face into his neck and purred as I snuggled up to him then heard a maid calling for us. He looked towards the maid quickly.
"Why's she calling for us?" He asked and scooped me up before trying to carry me to the bench with the rose I gave him on it. I glanced towards the moon then frowned.
"The moon is getting low," I murmured to him. "She must be calling us in because of it.... Mommy wouldn't be happy if we were out here too close to the sunrise." He sat me down as we reached the bench and he grabbed the rose.
"Let's go in so they don't worry so much for us," he suggested. I nodded and then got to my feet.
"Okay... we can play inside.... Maybe Jason will want to play Call of Duty with us?" I asked him then smiled, taking him inside. The maid looked the two of us over before she smiled at us.
"You should stay inside for the rest of the night. It could become daylight soon, and then you'd get hurt. You can go into the garden tomorrow night after your father has you practice together," she told us then shut the doors behind us and locked them.
"We know...." Lyle whispered to her. "We figured that's why you were calling us in." She smiled at us then.
"Your father was very proud of you boys tonight in your practice," she told us then laughed. "You're going to be a wonderful prince and king one day you two." She patted our heads then started to walk off. I giggled then looked towards Lyle before I gave a playful growl.
"First one to the night room gets to have a sip of the other tomorrow~" I told him then ran off quickly, racing down the hall to go to the night room to set up Call of Duty. I heard him chasing after me in determination to win.
"No fair~! You got a head start!" He yelled. I giggled madly and ran towards the night room but tripped at the door, falling against it. I yelped and then looked at the door handle. No! I want a sip of Lyle tomorrow! I grabbed it and quickly opened it but was surprised to find Everest on the other side. He let out a cry of pain as the door hit him in the face and fell onto his butt then started bawling. Oh... no.... I widened my eyes and walked in, going to scoop him up but he pushed my hands away.
"You meanie! You hurt me! Don't touch me! MOOOOMMMYYYYYY!" He wailed loudly, his face turning red as tears streamed down his cheeks.
"Brother?" I heard Lyle ask as he stepped in then scooped up Everest quickly. "No come on... I know that didn't hurt you. You're tough and strong," he purred to try to cheer him up. Everest sniffled and curled up to Lyle then hugged him, hiccupping. I frowned and watched as Everest slowly calmed down and got quiet as Lyle comforted him.
"No fair... he wouldn't let me touch him," I murmured, watching the two of them.
"You hurt him," Lyle told me. "It was an accident but still...." He trailed off and kissed Everest on the head. "It's okay bubba." I frowned and watched as Everest rubbed his head then whined slightly. He looked towards me with a frown then gave a small growl.
"Meanie," he hissed lightly to me. I frowned and walked up to them.
"I am not. How was I supposed to know you were behind the door?" I asked him then examined his head. He let me touch him this time but glared at me. "I'm sorry I hit you with the door," I whispered to him then kissed his forehead when I saw he was fine. He giggled and cheered up before he kissed my cheek.
"Mkay bubby," he said sweetly. Lyle purred before he walked in with Everest and went over to the couch. I followed and watched as Everest got on the couch then giggled, grabbing a nearby teddy then looked towards the corner of the room where Esther and Emily were having a miniature tea party. I gagged then.
"Ewww, it's girls," I told Lyle and wrinkled up my nose, earning a glare from Esther.
"Be nice," Lyle whispered to me. "That's our sister over there." I pouted at him then but quieted down.
"Ooooh, Silas got told," Esther giggled out to Emily. "Silas, come play tea with us-"
"Nuh uh, I'm playing Call of Duty," I told her then ran over to the PlayStation and turned it on.
"Guy time," Lyle told her and sat down in front of the TV, waiting on his controller from me. I brought it to him and smiled sweetly then got it set up, sitting down beside him as we began to play multiplayer Zombies mode.
"Emily~!" Zachary called from the doorway. "Momma said it's time to go."
"No way, Emily, spend the night," Esther begged and looked at Emily with a pleading look. "Your momma can come get you tomorrow night!"
"I don't know..." Emily mumbled quickly before giggling. "Let's go ask." She grabbed Esther's hand before yanking her out of the room to go find our parents. Esther giggled and ran off with her to go ask. I frowned. Jason better not hear her asking and ask to spend the entire day too.... Lyle and I sleep together only- no others. I looked back at the screen then shot a zombie that was about to get Lyle's player and smiled. We make the best team ever~! Lyle giggled as he saw what I did. His attention staying on the game only. I smiled sweetly and then got quiet as I focused on kicking butt with Lyle then heard Esther yelling in joy.
"Yaaaay! We're going to have the best time while you're here! I wanna do your hair!" Esther yelled excitedly from near the front of the castle. I frowned a bit and then sunk down against Lyle.
"They're staying here," I whined then sighed. "Can't she go over there."
"Nuh-uh, the sun might get Sissy!" Everest whined then walked up to us. He plopped down right on the other side of Lyle then leaned his head against him with a purr.
"You know mommy and daddy don't let us visit the Nero family without them tagging along," Lyle purred to me. I sighed then nodded.
"I wouldn't want anything to happen to Lil' sis," I mumbled. "I guess it's fine."
"We can put up with Emily for a day and night," Lyle said confidently. "After all... we're fencing tomorrow anyways with daddy. They won't be around us the whole time." I giggled then.
"You're right," I purred to him then shot a few more zombies. "The others don't get to come watch often when it's us and daddy training." I can't wait to beat Jason three out of three! I'm going to work hard to best Jason! That'll show him! Then I'll be the top one around here when he comes over!
"BOYS! COME SAY GOODBYE!" I heard my mother yelling. I frowned then paused the game before I looked towards the door. Darn... We have to say goodbye.... I got to my feet then pulled my brothers to theirs before I smiled.
"Let's hurry so we can come back before mommy can catch us all and stick us in bed," I purred to them then went for the door. Everest giggled and chased after me, barreling past when I opened the door. I laughed then ran after him, going towards the front where I heard mommy then yelped when I couldn't stop fast enough and ran into dad. I widened my eyes as I crashed into him and then tensed up. Oops. He laughed and scooped me up into his arms before kissing my cheek.
"Slow down," he teased me. I heard Lyle walking in calmly. I giggled then and kissed daddy's cheek before I purred to him.
"Okay daddy," I told him then nuzzled my head up against him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. "Daddy, when it's bedtime, will you put us to bed with mommy?"
"You want me to read to you?" He asked and purred. "Actually... I'll tell you a story about when I was a young boy. You want to know a little about your grandparents?" I nodded and giggled.
"Uh huh, tell us a story," I told him then looked towards the Nero family then specifically at Jason. "Jase... play Zombies with us next time when you come over," I purred to him and smiled sweetly. "I bet you rock at Call of Duty too!"
"I do," he said quickly. "Gaming is fun." He waved goodbye to us as he walked outside to the waiting car.
"Bye Jason," Lyle called out.
"It's not bye yet. You'll see me again," Jason yelled. My father placed me down on my feet then. I smiled and then ran up to Lyle, tackling him into a hug then looked out the door towards Jason before I purred.
"He's alright," I hummed out thoughtfully then looked at Lyle before I kissed his cheek. "Big brother... you'll help me get strong so I can wipe the floor with him next time, right?" I asked him softly, looking him in the eyes. He is my big brother and he's stronger than me... and better. Plus he's my sparring partner- my training partner~! I heard the Nero family saying goodbye to my parents as they left, leaving Emily behind. Lyle nodded before I was tackled by Sylar.
"GOTCHA! You ran away at dinner time and ditched me at the table," Sylar yelled. I yelped then looked down at him. He's got me again.... I purred and then picked him up, cradling him in my arms.
"Hey little bro," I said sweetly then kissed the top of his head. "Did ya miss me?"
"Too bad. I want to sleep with you tonight," he told me quickly. I frowned then. He wants to sleep with me tonight? But... I glanced towards Lyle then looked back at him before I purred.
"Alright, I guess it wouldn't hurt anything if you slept with us tonight. There's enough room in our bed for you," I told him and kissed the top of his head again.
"Yay!" Sylar giggled. "I love you brother!" He kissed my cheek quickly. I laughed then held him close.
"You're such a cute little brother," I purred to him then started to carry him off in my arms to go back to the night room. I heard Lyle following me quickly.
"Don't forget me," Lyle yawned out. "I'm getting tired. The sun is coming up..." He trailed off. I paused then looked back at him.
"You want to go to bed?" I asked him softly. I guess the maids will find the PlayStation and turn it off for us as they close the curtains in there....
"Yeah," he yawned out and started straight for the stairs. I followed after him quickly, purring.
"Okay brother~" I said happily and then followed him up to our bedroom. I sat Sylar down once we were inside and ran over to my closet to find myself some PJs to wear to bed, going through it then giggled as I found my old Voltron shirt. I striped down to my underwear then slipped it on over my head and grabbed black sweatpants. I walked back out to them then collapsed in the bed, bringing Lyle's pillow close to me and purred. Lyle was dressed up in his Kingdom Hearts night onesie and let out a cute yawn as he curled up to his Axel doll. I looked at him then moved close to him then exposed my fangs with a purr. I leaned in towards his neck and kissed it softly. My sweet big brother~ Sylar giggled as he jumped into bed in a huge shirt selected from Lyle's closet- a Ed, Edd, n Eddie shirt. He crawled up between us and wrapped his body around me, kissing my cheek. I looked towards him with a slight frown then rubbed my fangs. Darn... I was hoping to get one last bite in of Lyle before dad walks in. I could hear our parents coming towards the room then, their voices saying goodnight to our sisters and Everest. I widened my eyes then looked at Lyle quickly, leaning in and sinking my fangs in for the last time I would be able to for tonight then licked the blood up and pulled away, sinking down in the bed. Lyle gasped as he looked at me.
"Silas," he whispered.
"Mmmmm," Sylar purred and licked his lips. I purred and looked at Lyle as I licked my lips too.
"I wanted some before daddy comes in," I told him innocently then hugged Sylar, kissing his head. "Thanks for the taste~" I purred to him and gave Lyle a sweet smile. I heard our parents come in then.
"Whose ready for bed?" My mom asked. I looked towards mommy and grinned.
"I think Sylar is," I told her and giggled then started to tickle Sylar. "Isn't that right little bro?" I asked him and watched as I got after his sides. He giggled and kicked at me to try to get away.
"No no no no nooooooo! Stop it bubby," Sylar begged. I felt our parents sit down on the bed with us. I laughed and pulled him back by his feet and started to tickle them as I held his foot.
"No, no, no, no~ I'm not going to stop!" I teased him and smiled happily. He's so cute~ He yelled as he giggled and squirmed around, grabbing Lyle's shirt to try to get him to help. I purred and yanked him away from Lyle then pulled him into my lap, showering his face in kisses. He giggled and squirmed around as he reached out for Lyle.
"Lylllllllllle! Help!" Sylar begged. I heard Lyle give a yawn in response as he struggled to keep his eyes open. I laughed evilly then kissed Sylar's neck.
"No one can help you now~" I teased him playfully then gave a small growl to mess with him. "Cause the Rosario prince has you!"
"Okay boys, settle down." My mother leaned in and gave our heads a kiss. I paused then looked towards her innocently.
"Yes mommy," I told her and let Sylar go. She laughed and gave us a smile, my father settled down to tell us the story about our grandparents, talking us to sleep.
