Chapter 101 - A Dinner Party

Sylar's POV:

As the maid led me into the dining room, I could hear Killian talking to A'slin about some game, but the maid kept a hold of me as she pulled me into the room, making it to where I couldn't back down now. "Oh, Mr. Rosario, you're here," William said happily, his gorgeous mismatched eyes turning to look at me as he smiled at the sight of me. He started to walk to a seat right next to Sera where a plate had been set out for me and pulled the chair back for me with a small laugh. "Sera wants you beside her tonight." He looked beautiful, his hair was brushed out neatly and it looked like he had been freshly groomed for serving us during dinner. Even his uniform was done perfectly, showing off his slim body. His scent was strong again, probably from taking a bath recently, and it was driving me crazy for him. I eyed him down, getting a craving for his blood again. I was beginning to feel like a leech. I slowly walked up to the table and sat down in the spot they were putting me. I can't believe this.... I absolutely hate this kind of thing.... anything formal and all prim and proper. At least his scent was here to drive me crazy.

"Sylar, It's good to have you here." Sera gave me a huge smile. "I never thought we'd get you out of your closet." She giggled as she watched me. "How are you?" She asked quickly in all seriousness.

"Terrible," I told her. "Thanks for asking." I leaned back in my chair and looked towards the table.

"We've had to house A'slin as well since he's refusing to go live with his parents... not while they're fighting with Lyle," Sera told me to make chit chat. "He's better here than at Lyle's castle. Don't you think? It's safer for him." I raised an eyebrow slightly. As if I care. It's the little hellion that spawned from Silas's love for Rei. There is sixteen of them. Sixteen. They were everywhere at the castle, hard to escape from bumping into if I wasn't careful.

I glanced around the table in slight interest to know who was here. There was a girl sitting on the other side of Sera, beside her was Dmitri. At the other end of the table was Kingsley with his lover next to him who was also on my side of the table. In between us was Ross and Toma. Across from Toma was Dmitri.... Beside Dmitri sat A'slin... Putting Killian between him and Kingsley.

"Who is she?" I asked and eyed down the girl across from me.

"This is Kara! She's a shapeshifter.. also Dmitri's sweetie." Sera explained. Dmitri purred in amusement and looked towards Kara.

"I rescued her from a cage," he told me. William poured some warm blood into the wine glass for me, leaning over me a bit to do so. I looked the glass over in curiosity, hoping for his blood. He glanced my way and laughed a little as he saw the look on my face, smiling sweetly at me.

"Its fresher bottled blood," he whispered to me. "Why? Are you wanting something else?"

"Yeah," I whispered and brought his ear closer. "Yours." He blushed and looked at me innocently.

"You can't have my blood. You're at dinner with Sera," he told me then smiled at me. "You can have some later after dinner if you are still hungry." His scent was overwhelming though, pulling me in close as it called out to me. He was so gorgeous too with his innocent, unusual mismatched eyes and blue hair. He was going to be mine, and my crystal knew it. I frowned as I realized he was trying to tell me what to do.

"So?" I asked. I'm not giving in. His eyes widened and he looked at me before he bit his bottom lip.

"Sera would get upset if I served her with a cut wrist," he whispered hesitantly as he looked me in the eyes.

"I don't care." I looked him over expectantly. He hesitated before he looked towards his wrist and blushed.

"W-well... I guess. You are Sera's guest," he mumbled before he reached for my glass and picked it up. "I will change the blood out in the kitchen...." He gave me a nervous smile towards me. He looked at the blood and swirled it in the glass before he smiled softly and looked towards Alfred. "Alfred, may I be excused to go to the kitchen for Mr. Rosario?" He asked sweetly, grinning.

"Be quick," Alfred told him and smiled. "I need you back as soon as possible." William smiled then before he looked at me.

"I'll be right back, Mr. Rosario," he told me sweetly before he started to speed walk for the door, leaving the dining room.

"What was all that about?" Dmitri asked and frowned towards me.

"I wanted different blood," I told him calmly. Killian laughed and looked me over before he took a bite of his food, a small neat pile of meat on top of noodles. I watched him and frowned. Why is he laughing? Was I funny? Dmitri frowned and nodded.

"You must've not have liked the blood type he gave you," he said then took a sip of his blood. After a few more minutes, William came back in the room with a slightly pained look, gauze wrapped tightly around his wrist and barely peaking out from under his suit's sleeve. He walked up to me with the glass, full of his blood. It smelled delicious and it made my mouth water- especially the scent from his wrist where it was extremely fresh and still pumping through his veins. I smiled as I thought about licking his wrist later for him so he'd be able to heal faster. He smiled broadly as he saw me smiling and the pain faded from his face. He bounced up to me then placed the glass down in it's place.

"There you go," he said sweetly to me.

"You totally asked him to give you his blood," Dmitri said and frowned. William blushed slightly and tugged his sleeve further down his arm to hide the gauze.

"It tastes good," I whined out. Sera giggled as she watched me.

"Does it really taste that good that you had to ask him?" He asked curiously, eyeing William down.

"Yeah.... but he's mine so back off." I reached for William's wrist.

"Yours?" Dmitri raised an eyebrow at me and smirked. "He's Sera's. He's her servant." William blushed as I grabbed his wrist and moved closer to me, not fighting me.

"Yeah but he promised his blood to me," I teased.

"Really?" Sera asked. William glanced towards Sera then with a nervous smile.

"I said he could have my blood after dinner if he wanted it, Sera. That's all," he told her then laughed, rubbing the back of his neck with his other hand. Dmitri looked William over then smirked.

"Well, if he didn't promise it to you for life, then maybe I will ask him tomorrow if I may have a taste," he teased me.

"No way.... he's my blood donor. I don't want to share." I growled at him then.

"But he's not yours. He's Sera's servant," Dmitri purred at me. "Besides, I bet his eyes are the way they are because his DNA is rare- his blood is rare too. If he'll let me, I won't pass that up."

"No way. You stay away from William." I hissed. Sera giggled and watched us argue. William laughed a little too then.

"I don't mind," he said sweetly, giving us a cute smile. "Dmitri can have some too if he wants it." Dmitri smirked at me then.

"There you have it. I'll try his blood tomorrow after he has some rest."

"No you won't! It'll mean less for me and I can't handle that." Dmitri purred at me then.

"Well, I could ask him for some right now," he teased me then looked towards William with a playful look. I growled a little under my breath out of instinct. I'll gut him. I grabbed the glass of blood and sipped on it. "May I, William?" He asked him and purred. William smiled at him cheerfully.

"Sure, I don't mind. Just don't take too much," he said and went to go to him. Dmitri's eyes lit up in delight as he watched William coming over to him.

"I think William's gave enough blood for one night," Alfred spoke up before I could say anything. "William, don't you agree?" William paused and looked towards Alfred before he nodded.

"Yes sir," he said and smiled before he returned to Alfred's side. Dmitri frowned in disappointment then glared at me. I glared back at him before smirking, feeling accomplished that I got the last of his blood for the night. He narrowed his eyes as he saw my look then hissed lightly at me before he took a sip of his blood. Killian let out a small moan, breaking the silence as he slowly chewed on a bite of his meat.

"This is great~" He purred out and laughed. "I should ask for meat and noodles more often~"

"That's.... disgusting...." A'slin whispered. Killian glanced towards him and frowned then.

"It's better than me biting you again," he told him then purred before he took another bite. "You wouldn't like it if I tried to."

"You won't bite him though," Kingsley warned Killian. "You're lucky I've let him back over." Killian looked at Kingsley then nodded quickly.

"Yes dad," he purred. "I won't bite A'slin. I'll behave." He gave his dad a sweet look before he purred towards A'slin and took another bite of his food. I leaned my head back slowly as I groaned. Why'd I get forced into this? I felt eyes watching me then as I leaned my head back and felt my crystal pulse as it instinctively recognized William's gaze. Oh no... What's wrong with me? His eyes left me as he started talking with Alfred quietly. I opened my eyes and glanced around. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their dinners as they talked to each other and sipped on their blood- or for Killian, ate his meat. William glanced back towards me and gave a small smile before he yawned a little and rubbed his eye. Poor William... He's tired. I took too much blood from him.

After dinner, William walked up to me after all the plates had been taken up, and he smiled at me sweetly. "Would you like me to put you to bed?" He asked me and gave me a cute look.

"Yeah," I purred out to him. Best chance to get his wrist healed.... I think I will force feed my blood to him. His eyes lit up in happiness and he smiled broadly before he reached for my hand.

"Okay, come on Mr. Rosario," he said sweetly. I took his hand and stood up, letting him lead me. He took me out of the room then looked up at me in joy. "Thank you for coming to dinner tonight~"

"I didn't want to... I was forced," I hissed. He still smiled at me though and then gave my hand a small squeeze.

"You still came though. It meant a lot to Sera, and I enjoyed serving you tonight," he told me happily as he took me up to my room then got the door for me. I stepped in before yanking him in with me.

"I enjoyed your blood," I purred out. "Let me return a favor," I whispered in his ear. He blushed and looked up into my eyes.

"Y-you don't have to," he whispered to me, the look on his face surprised but cute. I pushed up his sleeve anyways and unwrapped his wound before leaning in and licking it to help it heal. I heard his heart speed up as he watched me but he relaxed quickly as he felt it working. He smiled at me and quickly hugged me. "Thank you," he said happily. "It feels so much better!" He laughed and looked into my eyes. I purred before grabbing the knife inside my pocket and slit my wrist, shoving it up to his lips.

"Drink a little," I told him. He yelped in surprise and looked towards my wrist with wide eyes before he went to pull away in a panic as my blood got on his lips. "It's fine. It will help you like my saliva just did. You feel tired and run down right now... but soon you will feel just like you did before I drunk your blood." He looked towards my wrist before he looked up into my eyes, studying me for a few seconds before he nodded.

"O-okay," he whispered then gently held onto my wrist, looking towards it. He leaned in towards it hesitantly before he licked it then started to drink from it. I watched him and smiled softly. He moaned softly as he got a good taste and seemed to like it, moving a little closer to me as he closed his eyes. I lead him towards my bed slowly, leading him calmly. He followed me, not noticing that I was taking him towards it as he licked my wrist again, catching the blood dripping down it. I pulled us onto the bed and made him sit in my lap. He leaned against my chest, his smaller body fitting perfectly against mine as he drank a little more then leaned his head against me, closing his eyes with a happy smile on his face. I looked him over in a small daze, watching him. He turned to me, opening his pretty eyes before he looked towards me then leaned in and kissed my cheek gently in instinct. I heard a happy sigh come from him before he wrapped his arms around my neck. I laughed and wrapped my arms around him. "Sylar," he mumbled sweetly under his breath before his soft lips brushed against my neck. I laughed softly.

"Yes? Did you get enough?" I asked curiously. He nodded then pulled back from my neck, looking me in the eyes.

"Uh huh," he told me then blushed before his eyes widened. "M-Mr. Rosario, I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have- Did I-" He stammered as he glanced at my cheek then at how we were sitting, his face reddening by the second as it dawned on him what happened.

"I liked it, don't worry." I leaned in and gave his cheek a kiss. He blushed, looking unsure but slowly relaxed. He slowly smiled before he laughed and hid his face into my neck, keeping his arms around me. "Would you stay the day here?" I asked him curiously.

"Would I get in trouble?" He asked me and looked towards me, biting his lower lip. "I-I do have to work a bit... and if Alfred caught me in here...."

"Just say.... You were needed here," I suggested. He looked thoughtful for a few minutes before he glanced towards the door then at me before he nodded and a sweet smile crept onto his face. He laughed and then snuggled up to me with a cute look on his face.

"Okay~ I'll stay in here for a little while- just a little while though," he told me and smiled. I laughed and pulled the blanket over us. He blushed and curled up to me. "Mr. Rosario... what exactly do you want?" He asked me softly. "I mean... I'm just a servant here, and you're a prince. We shouldn't even be this close to each other... but you don't seem to mind it." He looked up into my eyes in confusion and studied them.

"Colsin was a werewolf and I didn't mind...." I trailed off and gave his cheek a kiss. "I don't mind who you are either." He frowned a little.

"But... Colsin was your mate. Why are you comparing us?"

"Because I really like the way you smell.... it calls to me." I shrugged. "I want you." He blushed then and looked towards my lips then up at me.

"Y-you... want me? Like to drink from me?"

"No.... I want all of you and I want you now." I kissed his cheek then. "You call out to me like Colsin did except stronger..... Something I've never felt so strong... Maybe it's just because you're human and he was a werewolf." His eyes widened a little as he understood what I meant this time and he hid his face into my chest, his heart starting to race.

"You... but..." He trailed off then peeked up at me. "What about when you leave? You'll leave... and if I was to say yes, you'd still have to go at some point."

"Go?" I asked. I didn't think that over. "I could stay..." I trailed. "Amelia might get mad at me.... but I could."

"Amelia?" He frowned slightly as his eyebrows furrowed.

"I'm a witch's familiar," I grumbled. "She's my witch." He slowly nodded.

"Oh... Well... maybe Sera will allow her to come here? If you talked with her, I'm sure she'd understand...." He blushed then gently gripped the front of my shirt.

"I don't think Amelia would be happy to come. She's got a son and a sticky home life." His face fell and he nodded before he curled up in my arms.

"I can't leave either. I'm going to become Sera's next personal butler.... I guess things just aren't meant to be," he mumbled to me. "I don't know. I'm a butler anyways.... You could do better."

"I don't want better," I grumbled. "I've found you. I'll make this work." He looked up at me and bit his bottom lip before he nodded and looked towards my lips curiously.

"S-so... does this mean that we're boyfriends?" He looked back up into my eyes as he blushed again.

"Only if you sleep all day with me." He widened his eyes a little before he nodded.

"O-okay, I won't leave," he mumbled to me. "I'll tell Alfred that I was needed." I widened my eyes slightly before looking him over. So accepting... He grinned at me and laughed. "It'll be like a slumber party." I laughed and closed my eyes to get some sleep. He snuggled up to me and leaned his head against my chest as he yawned. "I could use the extra sleep," he mumbled under his breath before he began to doze off on me.

I heard William mumble something under his breath before a whimper came from him and he gripped my shirt tightly. "Leave me alone," he whimpered softly. I could feel the sun was just beginning to go down, the time for vampires coming soon. I opened my eyes slowly before I shook him to try to wake him up. He yelped and struggled, letting out a cry of panic before his eyes snapped open and he breathed shakily, looking around quickly before his eyes landed on me. He sniffled and quickly tackled me into a hug, hiding his face into me.

"Are you okay?" I asked softly. He nodded slightly before he curled up in my arms, a tear rolling down his cheek.

"They were after me again... the others. They wanted to hurt me," he whispered, his voice breaking. "The butler was calling me awful things too...."

"Do the other butlers bully you?" I asked softly. I was trying to understand him. He was having a nightmare... the others.... butler. He trembled in my arms as he clung to me and I heard him crying softly as I was sure I felt a slight nod from himu.

"T-they had a knife," he whispered, almost inaudible to me. He shivered and whimpered a bit, the sound making my crystal hurt. "I c-couldn't run fast enough."

"It was just a dream," I whispered to him. He nodded again before he relaxed a little.

"Y-yeah... they've never gone that far," he murmured, trying to calm down. "Only shoves...."

"You shouldn't let them," I warned. He looked up at me then moved his face into my neck.

"I try not to, but they're upset that Alfred picked me. They say that I didn't earn it and that he should've never picked me. One of them really hates me," he whispered, gripping me. "I try to ignore it...."

"Don't worry about them. They don't have your job because they're all bullies. Alfred picked you because you have a kind heart and smile," I told him sweetly. "That's something they don't have. Alfred would never let a hater serve Sera directly. I understand why he chose you over them. To me... you did earn it." His breath caught a little and he nodded, the tension leaving him as he sniffled and wrapped his arms around my neck slowly.

"O-okay," he whispered and then I felt him smile a little against my neck. "You're right.... Thanks Mr. Rosario."

"I know I'm right," I purred. I rubbed his head to help him calm down. "How about you go get me a bottle of blood," I suggested. He nodded then pulled back from my neck with a small grin.

"Of course, Mr. Rosario," he told me sweetly and gave me a happy look before he got off the bed and went towards the door. I watched him leaving to go get me my bottle of blood, I purred as I waited on him to come back. My mouth watered at the thought of blood.
