Continuation of Lyle's POV:
"The sun is still up but we've arrived, it'll be down in a few minutes. Wake up sleeping vampires. I encourage you put on these cloaks we fished out of your bags." I heard Aurelio tell us as he moved around on the bed, grabbing my tired attention. I heard Milo groan a little and he rolled away from me a little, taking the blanket with him before he got quiet, probably still passed out. I fluttered my eyes open, feeling the dread of being awake before dusk hit me. Aurelio threw a cloak at me and then one towards Milo. "I mean it, put them on." He looked us over. I slipped mine on then slipped Milo's on and scooped him up into my arms. "Sure you have enough strength for that?" He teased.
"I do," I hissed. Milo seemed to sense me and moved closer to me in my arms, sighing softly before he smiled a little in his sleep.
"Lyle," he mumbled happily and then lightly touched my chest. I made sure he was covered then followed Aurelio out of the vehicle and followed his shadow into a comforting dark hall. Milo whimpered and hid further into me, his instincts not liking being moved during daylight hours at all. He growled slightly before he hid his face in my chest.
"Right this way, you two can rest in here while the sun sets," Aurelio told me as he brought us into a night room with two comfortable couches. "Your room is still being prepped," he explained quickly. "Plus it's almost dusk." I nodded and brought us over to a couch where we collapsed on it. Milo snuggled up to my side as we laid down and he quieted down, starting to rest peacefully again. I heard Aurelio walk away to let us rest in peace. My eyes drifted to sleep quickly as we were at rest now in the comfort of four walls and the couch.
I felt Milo stirring against me a little before he began to sit up beside me slowly, brushing against my side with his movements. I opened my eyes to look up at him curiously.
"What're you doing?" I teased and brought him back down. He gasped and then giggled, looking at me.
"Lyle~" He said sweetly, hugging me happily as he looked me in the eyes lovingly. "Good night," he purred and kissed my cheek.
"Good night," I purred back and smiled towards him. "Are you hungry by chance?" He nodded and then stretched out beside me.
"Uh huh... I'm hungry again," he told me and then rubbed my cheek. "It isn't bad hunger though...."
"Lets see about getting you some blood," I suggested. He perked up a little at that and then nodded.
"Mkay," he said and then looked me over before he sat up again, glancing around the room before he looked back towards me and purred. I sat up to glance around at the fine night room, a huge fireplace as the main attraction to the room. There was a butler standing by the door.
"Would you like your blood warm?" The butler asked us calmly.
"Yes," I told him.
"Bottles?"
"Preferably."
"It's on the way," he told me as he pulled out a phone and typed something into it. Milo watched him curiously and then moved into my lap, taking my hand in his and putting it over his shoulder as he looked at the fireplace in interest, studying it. I watched the fireplace as well with slight interest. It was actually lit and producing a small light into the room. Usually vampire lurked in complete darkness. The light from the fire was illuminating the room and casting dark shadows. The light was bright and something I wasn't used to, natural light such as it. Usually I can handle a small candle or the moon light but the fire was something new. The heat of the fire was causing my skin to boil from the natural lighting, making me slip into the security of my dark cloak to protect myself. "Is the fire bothering you? I had it lit so it wouldn't be as cold in here." The butler told us.
"It's a little bothersome," I admitted. The butler walked over to the fireplace then and started to poke the fire out. When he finished the maid entered with two bottles of blood and handed them over to us before leaving. The butler resumed his formal place against the wall. I opened my bottle and started to drink it, slipping out of the comfort of the cloak. Milo looked towards his bottle of blood, keeping his cloak on before he started to sip on it, leaning back into my chest with a slight purr. I downed the rest of my blood and sat the empty bottle aside. He finished his up and sat it aside before he got to his feet and started to wander around the room, edging towards the windows as his eyes lingered on them curiously. He walked up to one eventually and looked out it in awe, checking out our surroundings. I followed him to the window. K.V.'s castle was surrounded by a yard of land before hitting the cold hard metal of a train track and moat. Snow was collecting on the window and a faint scent of sirens lingered outside. He must have sirens guarding his castle. Milo glanced my way and purred a little before I felt him reaching for my hand, entwining our fingers together. I laughed softly and pulled his body closer to mine and wrapped my free arm around his waist. He giggled and looked up at me sweetly before he kissed my cheek.
"Lyle," he mumbled happily and gave my hand a slight squeeze, watching me as he let his face linger close to mine. I felt my breath catch and leaned in, giving his lips a small kiss. He blushed as I kissed him then looked up at me with that hint of love in his gaze again and longing in them. I smiled softly and pulled my face away from his to give us breathing room. He smiled shyly and then looked out the window, looking like he was thinking about what just happened and shifted a little into me. "So... are we going to meet Mr. K.V. tonight?" He asked softly after a few minutes.
"That's the plan," I whispered. I heard the butler grab the empty bottles and walk away with them. Milo glanced towards him then up at me.
"Mkay... and we're going home after we meet him tonight or tomorrow night?" He asked and then let go of my hand and wrapped his arms around my neck.
"He wanted us to stay a few nights," I explained and looked back out the window. He nodded and then let go of me, looking out the window curiously before he glanced towards the moat in interest. He sighed softly and then walked back towards the couch, sitting down on it and pulled his cloak closer around him before he looked towards the door.
"So... what do you want to do while we wait?" He asked softly. I walked up to him and sat down by him.
"We won't have to wait much longer," I promised him. "It's not polite to keep your guests waiting for long." He nodded and then sunk down into the couch, playing with the edge of his cloak.
"Okay," he mumbled and smiled. I eyed the night room over and landed on watching the dead fireplace. After a few minutes of silence, the doors to the nightroom opened.
"Good Evening," I heard Aurelio say as he stayed in the doorway. His hair was messy like he had a hard time crawling out of bed for this. He had changed into something more comfortable as well, a purple dress shirt, red suspenders, a floral designed tight pants, black socks, and slides. "I was instructed to take you to see Mr. K.V." He relaxed at his own melting words and placed a hand on his hip while holding his arm up to strike a gay look. Milo looked towards him and smiled sweetly, getting to his feet.
"Mkay," he said cutely and bounced up to him, abandoning me. I followed Milo over to Aurelio.
"You look tired," I told him.
"It's not easy switching sleeping scheduels," he explained. "Every since I moved in I still have a hard time." His ran his fingers through his messy hair before leading us down a hall. "Before we go see him, would you two like to have a warm bath and put on some fresh clothes? I know you did so before coming here but the option is still one."
"We can wait for later," I told him quickly.
"Very well. Milo, how well do you do with human food?" He asked and looked towards him. Milo looked up at him and smiled.
"Eating doesn't make me sick," he told him. "At least not a meal. I've eaten human food a few times, but I haven't noticed anything bad from it."
"That's good you can handle human food. I hope you enjoy tea." Aurelio chuckled lightly. Milo's eyes widened in delight.
"Tea?" He asked happily, bouncing a little in excitement.
"Yes, he enjoys tea this time of the night." Milo nodded and laughed a little.
"Okay," he told him then ran a hand through his hair, calming down. We came across two large double doors where butlers were standing by. They opened the doors to a room full of flowers and lamps shinning dim light on the room. There was bird cages here and there with different birds that were chirping. In the middle of the room was a table next to a huge waterfall that ran into a koi pond. At the table was a man hovering over the edge of his chair and sprinkling fish food into the koi pond. There was already three cups at the table and a pot of tea sitting along with a plate of cookies in the middle.
"Now I hope you're not going to stay distracted over the fish their whole visit," Aurelio teased him playfully to announce our presence. I heard the guy over the koi pond chuckle and rise to his feet, sitting the bottle of fish food down by his tea. He turned to look our way then and reached out an arm to greet us with a shake. Taking in his appearance I was glancing into red mirroring eyes and dark brown hair that was natrually curly and cut short to bring out his strong shaping jaw line. It was like I was looking into a mirror but with slight different features. Unbelievable. He was in a carelessly dressed outfit. He had on gray sweat pants and a plain fandom based t-shirt for a recognizable anime- Black Butler. He was defintely not dressed well to meet a king. "Let me introduce you," Aurelio said quickly as the look of shock slowly crossed K.V.'s face. "This is King Lyle Rosario and his fledgling Milo Tomas Young. This is Mr. K.V. Otherwise known as Kingsley Void." Milo looked at Kingsley in shock, eyes wide before he looked towards me then back at Kingsley.
"You... two... look exactly like each other," he whispered, pointing out the obvious as he stared us down in shock. He stared down Kingsley then in confusion before he shrunk back behind me, watching my look alike. "Whoa...."
"No kidding," Aurelio chuckled out.
"I wasn't expecting this. You could have warned me," Kingsley said quickly and looked like he was started to get nervous.
"You're just as clueless as I am?" I asked quickly.
"Yeah," he breathed out and grabbed his cup of tea, starting to chug it down.
"If I told you, you would have sent him away. I'm just as curious as you are." Aurelio told him and started towards the table. He tore the tea cup from Kingsley and sat it down on the table. "Save it for when we're all seated."
"So why did you invite me here?" I asked curiously and started for the table, taking it slow so Milo would follow. Milo almost didn't but he followed after a few seconds, hesitating before he got my seat for me, letting me sit before he sat down beside me.
"Yeah," Milo mumbled, looked nervous as he looked from me to Kingsley. He bit his bottom lip, weirded out by this.
"I asked you to come here to discuss the vampire resistance. Although it looks like we'll have more to talk about," Kingsley explained as he sat down. Aurelio sat down by him and crossed his legs. Kingsley gave me a nervous look.
"The vampire resistance?" I asked with slight interest. "You've got news?"
"I might have some news."
"It must be important if you brought me out here, escorted by your lover boy," I lingered my eyes over Aurelio.
"We're not lovers," Kingsley said quickly. "We just enjoy each other's company. Over the years we have wrote to each other about the vampire resistance and I usualy kept you informed but I think this news should have been brought up face to face. I didn't know we'd have a bigger surprise."
"Glad you never came to my balls after all," I said quickly. "That would have been hard to explain to the council."
"No kidding," he laughed nervously and grabbed Aurelio's hand. Milo's eyes lingered on their hands before he looked Kingsley over and then glanced me over again before he sighed softly and looked at his cloak before he played with it a little, keeping quiet.
"So what about you two?" Aureio teased. "I heard you two kissed."
"It's undecided right now," I told him quickly. "I want to talk about the matter at hand. Kingsley, this has to keep quiet about your similaities to me. It'll cause me to loose my throne if you bring it up to the council."
"I understand," he whispered quietly. "This will remain a secret."
"Kingsley doesn't get out much anyways." Aurelio told me. Milo blushed a little and watched us before he looked towards the koi pond and got to his feet, walking over to look at them.
"So are you twins?" Milo asked softly from by the pond, glancing our way again curiously, mostly at me.
"N-"
"We have to be," Kingsley said with excitement.
"Whoa, we can't confirm it off of loo-"
"When were you born?"
"What?" I asked.
"How old are you?"
"Old enough for my crown," I said quickly.
"Come on and tell me. How will we not know-"
"We can't know that's the thing. I'm born from the Rosario family and that's it. It's even in my DNA."
"Oh yeah? Let me go ask the council then," Kingsley teased me. Milo frowned slightly before he sat down by the koi pond.
"Well... how could you be twins? Maybe you just look similar because you were... twins in another life perhaps?" He suggested then smiled innocently. "Mr. Aurelio said that souls could be reincarnated, so maybe you two are just reincarnated but come from different bloodlines now. It would explain why you look so similiar... because of your souls."
"We are twins, ha." Kingsley looked towards Milo. "Hey, aren't you that famous author?"
"He is," Aurelio said quickly. "I love his work."
"I know, you never shut up about it." Kingsley teased. Milo blushed.
"He never shuts up about them?" He asked innocently, his eyes trailing over to Aurelio. "That's so cool! I didn't know he liked my books that much!" He laughed happily. "I could sign a few of them if you want."
"COULD YOU?!" Aurelio asked with excitement. "You know they're going to make a movie out of one of your works? You're also now being reported as a missing person."
"Yes well, that's the old Milo. This is the new Milo." I told him. Milo got to his feet and practically ran over to Aurelio, tackling him into a hug.
"I'm still signing the books!" He told me quickly, giving the wizard a small squeeze before he purred. "I don't care if that was the old me. I'm me, and that's that."
"Milo," I said softly. Hugging strangers? He frowned slightly at me and then let go of Aurelio.
"What?" He asked me and then walked around the table to me. He reached out for me and then purred softly, hugging me. "I don't think it would hurt anything to sign the books for him. No human would ever know...."
"Milo," I dragged his hips down to the seat by me and gave him a stern look. "Let's behave." He frowned at me then let me go, crossing his arms before he looked away from me.
"Why're you so upset?" He muttered. "I didn't do anything but offer to sign a few pieces of paper...."
"You hugged a stranger," I told him quickly. "What if he bit you?" He widened his eyes and then looked towards me.
"That's why you're upset?! He wouldn't bite me.... He's a wizard. It would be different if I hugged Mr. K.V," he told me and pouted.
"I actually have a gift for you," Kingsley told me to interupt us. "If you don't mind." I looked towards him then back at Milo.
"Just be more careful, ok?" I looked him over. He softened his expression then nodded.
"Yes sir," he whispered to me and then smiled. "I will be...." I turned to look towards Kingsley.
"What was that?" I asked.
"I have a gift for you," Kingsley told me.
"We thought it was a perfect gift when we came across her." Aurelio told me. Milo frowned a little and looked towards them, a slight panic in his eyes. He tensed up visibily and looked extremely worried.
"She's sleeping right now though so we'll have to go see her after our tea," Kingsley explained.
"You got me a girl?" I asked.
"Well I couldn't find a boy and I heard you were into guys but I couldn't find one so I hope she'll do." Milo frowned and then shrunk down into his seat, glancing towards me then looked away quickly with a hurt expression.
"Why does Milo look so upset?" Aurelio asked with concern.
"Probably because his jealousy is kicking in," I told them. Milo frowned.
"I'm not jealous," he said quickly then got to his feet. "Not at all." He walked back to the koi fish pond to look at them, watching them swim.
"Well we could go ahead and skip the tea, no one seems intersted in it." Kinglsey said and stood up. "After meeting someone so similar to my own reflection, I think I won't be able to drink anything for the rest of the night. We'll check in on her and continue our way to my study where we will dicuss the important matters I summoned you here for." Milo glanced at them then rubbed the back of his neck before he sighed softly, walking a little closer to us but didn't get too close to me. I stood up and started to follow the other two out.
"So where exactly did you get her?" I asked.
"From a place I wanted to bring up to your knowledge. I discovered it with Aurelio. It's an auction house. Illegal of course. The place is disgusting, absolutely. I wanted you to go see it in person with me when I go again. I plan on taking some others and burning it to the ground. You need to bring it up to the council that there are places like that from the vampire resistance." Kingsley told me.
"An auction house?" Milo asked in confusion. "So they sold her to you?"
"Oh yeah, I paid a pretty penny for her too," Kingsley looked us over. "She was bruised black and blue from the treatment she was experiencing there." He frowned at Kingsley.
"That's so cruel," he whispered softly.
"That's why we made sure to write to you immediantely," Aurelio told us.
"The vampire resistance is an organization ready to come out of hiding when my brother takes the throne. They share the same beliefs. Sometimes more extreme," I explained to Milo. "The only diference is they're still doing their beliefs against our law. Silas wouldn't dare try and especially will make sure to not get caught doing it." He nodded slightly, glancing at me before he looked away, rubbing his arm.
"Yeah... I guess that makes sense that there would be some like Silas,' he whispered.
"We call them the vampire resistance because they refuse to follow our laws," Kingsley told him. "They're the scum vampire hunters hunt."
"Uh huh," Milo hummed out and then looked around curiously before he bounced up to Aurelio, going past me to him. "So! Can you do anything cool?" He asked Aurelio sweetly, giving a huge smile towards him.
"Anything cool?" Aurelio asked and gave a small smile.
"Yeah, like the humans believe about wizards? What's your favorite magic spell?" He smiled and looked excited about it.
"Well..." He trailed off. "Yeah I can do some magic," he shrugged and stopped on the ground, causing our shadows to come off of it and float in the air. "That's probably my favorite." Milo looked towards the shadows in awe and then looked back at Aurelio.
"That's so amazing!" He said happily, fanboying. "Can you do everything or are there limits?"
"Limits to how much I've learned. I'm still a young wizard and haven't learned everything yet." Aurelio shook his head. "I skipped school to hang out with the bad kids."
"So there is a wizard school?" He bounced in excitement, eyes shinning as he seemed completely lost on his surroundings as Aurelio had his full attention.
"It's not like Hogwarts," Aurelio warned. "We have a school placed in plain sight but it's also hidden by another dimension. You have to accompany a wizard to enter or be one or even a witch. It's more developed as well in electronics. We're a few decades ahead of the humans."
"Really? Like... do wizards ever get sick?" Milo asked him, taking his hand in his then started to walk with him down the hall beside my look alike. "Do you get tired from casting too many spells? Can you make things materialize? Does night and day matter to wizards? Like stars versus the day sky? Is there a language for wizards? What's your favorite supernatural species? Can you read someone's mind if you wanted? What about making them do things?"
"Whoa whoa whoa... please slow down. One question at a time," Aurelio begged. Milo frowned and then laughed.
"Okay," he said sweetly, giving him a cute look. "I'll try not to ask so many."
"Well what's your first?" He asked.
"What's your favorite color?" Milo asked, looking completely serious about the question.
"I really like purple," Aurelio admited. Milo grinned at that.
"I like purple too! Though red is a close second...."
"Same," he purred. Milo laughed happily.
"I can't believe we share the same favorite colors," he said sweetly and then glanced towards my look alike then at me before he looked back at Aurelio. "Do you need to be with Mr. Kingsley while they talk in the study, or would it be alright if you showed me around some so I can ask you questions?"
"Your challenging yourself to step away from your maker's sight?" Aurelio asked. "You're not even a year old yet." Milo frowned a little and then looked back towards me then at Aurelio, hesitating then looked back towards me.
"No... I don't think I would want to be seperated from him for too long.... Maybe we should stay," he whispered, looking me in my eyes. "I mean... I could... but I feel safer near him."
"You need to stay near him," Aurelio encouraged. "We can talk nearby them." Milo nodded and then let go of Aurelio's hand.
"Okay," he whispered and then smiled. "That'll be great!" He looked at Aurelio sweetly before he bounced over to me, reaching for my hand. I grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze. We reached a door where Aurelio cracked it open slowly before opening it to show a sleeping fifteen year old girl in the bed. I caught her scent quickly, finding it to be rare and something I never smelled before.
"She's a mixture of human and polar bear. She can transform at will into one. She's quite spectacular." Kingsley told us in a hushed voice. Milo's eyes widened a little at that and he peeked inside, looking at her.
"Whoa..." he whispered. "She's a werebear...."
"She's our gift to you," Kingsley said softly.
"Thank you," I whispered. Milo smiled and seemed to be relaxing as he watched her, seeming to lose his jealousy at seeing the situation. "I'll take good care of her-"
"You better, she was expensive." Kingsley hissed playfully. Milo smiled a little and then slipped into the room, walking up to the bed before he gently sat down on it and ran his fingers through her hair. Her hair was white like a polarbear's fur. I walked in and up to the edge of the bed. Aurelio and Kingsley followed me.
"How much?" I asked.
"Twenty five grand," Kingsley said softly. Milo frowned as he heard it and looked her over before he smiled and played with her white hair.
"Her hair is soft," he purred and then gently touched her cheek. "She's pretty too...." She groaned and rubbed her cheek, pulling the covers over her head.
"Very rare. You don't see a werebear every day. Especially a polar bear. I had to fight for her." Kingsley told us. Milo laughed as he watched her with delight and then laid down in the bed, curling up as he watched her with interest. "She's still having trouble shifting," Kingsley whispered. "She does like the snow though. The servants tell me she goes outside every day to play in it." I leaned over the edge and sniffed the air, catching the scent of the sun on her. She went out earlier today. Milo looked towards me and smiled sweetly before he pulled her closer to him, playing with her hair again. She started to squirm a little and groaned. Her body had a few healing bruises on it that I caught a glipse of as she squirmed. Milo noticed them and frowned slightly, letting go as he looked at them.
"That's so terrible," he whispered, looking concerned about it.
"She'll heal," Aurelio promised. "She's in better shape then what she was previously in. Just think of what could happen if she ended up in the wrong hands. The vampire resistance has been known for were fights. Where they train and sick weres upon each other. Sort of like dog fights." Milo frowned and I could see the anger growing in his eyes before he looked up towards me.
"We need to stop them," he whispered to me, looking upset. "Has it been brought to the council's attention?"
"Yes, that was our main topic durring our last meeting. You weren't paying much attention though. We often discuss ways to handle the vampire resistance. There are growing members every day. The Nero family is disgusted by them." He frowned at that and then sat up, reaching for me before he wrapped his arms around my neck and made me carry him.
"How could they think it's right?" He mumbled under his breath and then sighed, kissing my cheek.
"They were never human and don't know right from wrong. They're animals. If they were once human they lost all of humanity," I explained and carried him out the room, hearing the other two following me. Aurelio shut the door as we left. He frowned but nodded, snuggling up to me.
"I'm glad at least she was saved," he mumbled to me and then smiled towards me, kissing my neck happily. "We'll take good care of her."
"This way to my study," Kingsley told us and stepped in front of us to lead.
"Our goal is to get rid of the vampire resistance," I muttered. He nodded.
"That would be great," he mumbled to me and looked up into my eyes, playing with the ends of my hair. "I don't want others to be hurt like that.... I can't even think about how bad it was before." He winced at the thought and then buried his face into my shoulder.
"There are other things besides the vampire resistance. There are vampire bars out there as well as clubs just as worse. Then there are the predators on the streets luring others into alleys." Kingsley told him. Milo shuddered and moved closer to me.
"I'm glad I found you, not them," he whispered quickly, tightening his grip on me. "No wonder why you told me it was dangerous to be so trusting.... They would've killed me if they found me...."
"I told you," I muttered. "This is why I keep a close eye on you."
"Because I'm too trusting or because you don't trust others enough because of the bad vampires?" He asked softly, looking up into my eyes.
"There is a black market out there and you'd go higher than the werebear. You're my first fledgling. I don't want to loose you to the hands of others. You've got to stay close to me. Remember other fledglings can easily think you're a human still because their masters haven't taught them fully yet." He shivered and nodded quickly.
"I won't ever leave your side," he promised me softly. "I'll never let someone take me from you... not again," he mumbled, dropping his voice real low for the last part.
"We'll start training you how to fight and defend yourself soon," I promised him. He blushed and then nodded.
"That would probably be a good idea," he whispered and then kissed my cheek. "It'd make it easier for you...."
"By the time your five years are up you'll be in more control that the adverage vampire," I promised. "Most makers don't want to teach their fledglings how to defend themselves until they're five and mature enough for it." He frowned a little but nodded.
"Okay.... I guess that makes sense.... If fledglings get hungry easily and have a hard time distinguishing between other fledglings and humans... it would be dangerous to teach them to fight," he whispered and then sighed softly. "I'm a weak person... but I'll try my best to learn to fight for you...."
"You'll be strong in time." He blushed and then nodded.
"If you're sure about that," he whispered and then smiled.
"I'm positive. You're not human anymore." He laughed and then smiled, kissing my cheek.
"Mkay," he purred sweetly. We entered a study then and Kingsley sat behind a desk quickly. I walked up to it and sat down in front of it, keeping Milo in my arms and just sitting him down in my lap. Aurelio sat down in the other chair and crossed his legs.
"We need to discuss the matters of the vampire resistance," Kingsley told us. Milo looked towards Kingsley curiously before he curled up against me as he stopped purring.
"You can go to the couch in the room and talk with Aurelio if you want," I suggested to Milo, noticing two seperate couches we had to walk past to get to the desk in the room. "I won't mind." He looked up at me and smiled sweetly, gripping my shirt a little.
"I'm good. I'll talk to him later. I can always take a nap right here if I get too bored...." He leaned his head against my chest and then smiled softly. "I'm happy here...."
"Well here I thought you had questions to ask me," Aurelio teased lightly. He glanced towards Aurelio and smiled happily.
"I do have questions for you..." Milo told him and then tugged lightly on my shirt. "I think I'll stay with him though for now. He's my sweet maker after all... and I like sitting with him."
"Oh I forgot to tell you what her name was, we like to call her Snow but her name is Snezhinka which is is Snowflake in Russian." Kinglsey explained. That's so pretty... I looked towards him and then smiled, nuzzling my head against Lyle's chest.
"I like that...."
"She can speak Russian too," Aurelio told us. "Especially when she's mad." Milo laughed and then sat up a little in my lap, purring as he adjusted himself.
"That's so cute~ I can't wait to meet her when she wakes up," he said sweetly, looking really happy about it as he bounced a little in excitement. "I bet she's really sweet."
"She's very dangerous," Kingsley warned. "She's a werebear." He leaned back in his chair and looked me over. "Anyways I wanted to talk to you about the vampire resistance," he told me.
"Yeah, we were trying to talk about that this whole evening." I smirked as I teased him.
"I know, sorry for the small distractions." He leaned forward then and leaned on his hands as he rested his elbows on the desk. "When I was out at the auction I over heard a few things about a few places you can inform the council of."
"Oh yeah?" I asked.
"Yeah, I wrote them down for you so you won't forget all of them." He edged a slip of paper towards me that had been sitting there in front of him. I reached out and grabbed it, looking over the places he had listed. "I hope the Nero family won't ask how you got this information. If they grow curious I might have to leave."
"I'll make up some good excuse to keep my best informant unknown," I purred and folded the piece of paper and gave it to Milo. Milo looked towards it before he put it in his pocket to hang onto for me, smiling before he kissed my cheek gently and closed his eyes, resting his head against my shoulder. "What else do you know about the vampire resistance?"
"I know that you need to talk to your brother Silas," Kingsley laughed out. "He's got a good reputation."
"I about figured," I muttered.
"He does seem like he might know something," Milo murmured a little and then moved a little closer to me. "Maybe we could ask Everest to start questioning him about it.... Want me to text him for you? It would get some more work off your shoulders...." He purred softly and let out a sigh, his breath hitting my neck a little. "I wouldn't mind... and maybe when we get back and you get through all the letters and papers... we could go out into the garden finally... just me and you...."
"We'd be better off asking Sylar to do this instead. Everest would look more obvious. You can text Sylar for me." I handed him my phone. He looked at it and then started to text Sylar for me, laughing a little.
"I'd like for both of you to stay a few nights here," Kingsley reminded us. "I want your company longer." Milo finished and gave me my phone back before he looked towards Kingsley with a smile.
"I'd like to stay longer anyways~ I've got so many questions for Mr. Aurelio," he said innocently and looked over at Aurelio before he looked up at me and purred. "You'd like to stay longer too, right?"
"Of course," I purred with agreement. "I don't mind staying longer. I told my siblings I would be gone for a few days anyways."
"We have your room ready anyways," Aurelio teased. Milo laughed and then nuzzled against me before he looked towards Aurelio.
"Can we go to our room yet? I'd kinda like a shower," he said cutely.
"I don't mind, we have time to talk." Kingsley waved for us to leave.
"We'll talk later," I promised and got to my feet, keeping Milo in my arms.
"I'll take you to your room," Aurelio suggested and lead us out of the study and started down the hall. Milo watched Aurelio as he curled up in my arms.
"Thank you Aurelio," he whispered and then looked up at me before he wrapped his arms around my neck.
"Ah. it's not a problem," Aurelio promised. He took us up several flights of stairs and secret passage ways before we ended up right in front of a door to a bedroom. "Here we are, you'll be staying in here. It's safe and doesn't have any windows."
"Thank you."
"So it's like the one back home then," Milo mumbled, looking towards the door before he smiled softly and looked towards Aurelio. "Thank you so much again."
"The best for our guest," Aurelio chimed. "No need to thank us." He started to walk off then and leave us alone. I walked into the room with Milo and sat him down as we entered. He smiled at me before he walked over towards his bags, starting to go through them before he pulled out some sweatpants and a white t-shirt. He took his bathroom products out and went towards the bathroom with it, shutting the door behind him with his foot. I quickly heard the water start to run and his clothes hitting the bathroom floor. I went over to the bed and laid down on it to wait for him. After about thirty minutes, he came out, running his fingers through his hair. He smiled as he saw me and then walked up, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"Do you want to go take a shower too?" He asked me, laughing. "It's been awhile since we've been able to relax and do that kind of stuff." He laid down then by me and watched me as he waited for my answer. I nodded and got to my feet, grabbing my suit case and took it to the bathroom with me. When I entered I took a long hot shower and put on silk pajama pants before walking back out to him and slipping into the bed. He opened his eyes, having taken a nap while he waited for me before he smiled and then reached out for me. "Lyle," he mumbled softly, looking like he wanted to be held again. I smiled and pulled him to me, wrapping my arms around his body.
"We could have went home," I mumbled softly.
"What do you mean? I thought you wanted to be here," he whispered to me, looking up into my eyes. "Did you not? We could make up an excuse to leave...."
"No, I just think that we could have went home instead of coming here... Not that I don't want to be here.... I'm just saying." I ran my fingers through my hair. He smiled and nodded to me before he purred, leaning his head into my hand before he gently kissed my hand with a slight blush.
"Let's try meeting our new family member," I suggested. He nodded to me and then leaned his head against my chest.
"Uh huh," he hummed and then smiled softly before he leaned in and kissed my cheek. I felt my phone vibrate then so I pulled it out to check it.
Jason N: We're having a council meeting in three days. Be there.
I sighed and tossed my phone onto the night stand. "Looks like we'll have to shorten this visit..." Milo frowned.
"What do you mean?" He looked towards my phone then at me before he pouted. "You have a meeting to go to... don't you?" He sighed and then pulled away from me. "You're always busy...."
"I'm a king," I groaned out and curled up in the bed. "You'll be at the meeting though with me if that matters. I'm not going to let you out of my sight." He sighed and then nodded, moving back to me and then kissed my cheek.
"Alright... I guess as long as we are together," he purred to me and then rubbed my cheek. "It'll be fine."
"We'll leave tomorrow night," I muttered. "I hope she'll be fine in a car ride." He nodded and then smiled, giving my cheek a kiss before he pressed his body up against mine, snuggling up to me. I wrapped my arms around him and brought him closer to me. He giggled and then blushed, looking towards my lips curiously again before he hesitantly kissed me. I leaned in and gave him a kiss as well. He's getting more open with these kisses. He blushed a deeper shade of red and then looked at me longingly, his grip tightening on my shirt slightly before he stole another kiss. I pulled back from the kiss and smirked. "You're not gay," I teased. He blushed and then looked away from me before he loosened his grip.
"S-sorry," he whispered and then hid his face into my chest. I laughed and kissed the top of his head.
"You might be curious though."
"I shouldn't be kissing you though," he mumbled, looking up at me with a frown. "I shouldn't want to.... You're my maker, and I'm supposed to be straight...."
"You don't have to be straight and I wouldn't be upset if you had feelings for me. I'm openly gay," I purred. He blushed and nodded towards me.
"O-okay.... It's really okay if I kiss you?" He asked, looking unsure still.
"Yes," I nodded and looked him over. "I don't mind if you kiss me." He blushed again and then looked towards my lips, giving me another kiss before he purred softly. I leaned in and deepened the kiss, rolling us to where I had him on the bottom. I growled playfully and leaned deeper into the kiss. He gasped as I kissed him, a little shocked by it. I smirked and laid down by him, pulling him close to me. "Let's get some sleep," I whispered softly to him. He looked at me and bit his bottom lip before he nodded.
"Mhm," he hummed softly before he laid his head on my chest, curling up. "I love you..."
"I-" I paused in slight shock. "I love you too," I whispered softly to him, not sure how he meant it just yet. I closed my eyes and bit my bottom lip. He laughed a little and he wrapped his arms around me.
"Night," he purred and he got quiet as he started to fall asleep on me, his breathing beginning to slow down.
