I watched as Ryan and Grayson carried Gathas away.
As I stood on the field surrounded by the new recruits, I thought to myself, how in the earth had I changed so much?
Not too long ago, I was a narcissistic, selfish playboy who tends to take things a bit too far... now I look at myself and felt different.
Was this a gift given to me by Ryan? If he did, he certainly took a lot of weight off my chest. I'm a lot happier than before and I found a girl who is cute and wholesome. Honest and sweet and a bit out there. I don't know if this was fate but her grandmother is the last member of my mother's tribe.
My heart thumped in my chest as I thought of those two. One who is connected to my mother, who had known her, took care of her and the other, a fun little bundle of joy, who stole my heart.
Both of them are coming tonight, to visit me, to visit my mother. Today will be a very satisfying day.
Once I dismissed all the new recruits for the day, I decided to head over to the hospital wing to check on Gathas.
Gathas was staring out of the window when I got there and he finally noticed me watching him, he told me one thing. He wanted the man that had beaten him, to a state that he had to be placed in the hospital, to be his mentor.
I could see a lit flame in his eyes, Ryan gave him a new perspective, a path to walk. After the duel, I had never once heard him talk about status or his family. His a new man, a changed man, a man with determination to be better.

Our might will grow. Our brotherhood will grow.
I wondered how many of the new recruits will join us... maybe some or maybe the entire group... the decision will be made by our leader, Ryan.
Not long after I left the hospital wing, I found Grayson having a light chat with a few of the Knight's Order members. Mosh, Range and Samuel were idling chatting with Grayson about the day as I approached them. I heard them mention a few more names as they talked and wondered if they were using the channels with the information network thingy that Ryan showed us.
"Connect to Knight's Order."
As soon as I connected with the Knight's Order channel, I was flooded with voices inside my head.
"You scouting the perimeters Gojo?" asked a voice I suspected to be Taman, a newly joined Royal Elite knight that joined my detail not long ago.
"Aye!" Responded Gojo.
"Dinner's not for another hour..." cried a voice I presumed to be Jackie who is one of the two female knights to join us.
"I hope they have the mash potatoes I like," replied Florn, the other female knight that actually guards two of Ryan's students.
There are two types of guards in the Knight's Order at the moment. The first are the elites who guards Ryan's students. The only one who is not an Elite is Loc whom had a promotion to Royal Elite by Ryan. The others are Royal Elite guards who guards me.
"They will Florn," I answered and caused an awkward silence. "What's the matter? why the silence? Florn?"
"Y-y-Your highness!" cried Florn. "You startled me."
"Oh... my bad.
"Your highness!" called everyone.
"How's the patrols?"
"Everything's secure, I checked with everyone not long ago."
"Ah Grayson." I was so invested with the conversation, I didn't realize that the vice captain and three of my royal elite guards had disappeared before me. "Where are you?"
"Behind you."
"Huh?" I turned around to see Grayson standing behind me. Mosh, Range and Samuel were standing next to him, all in a greeting stance. Feet apart and hands behind their backs. "How did you guys get behind me?"
"We didn't, when you answered Florn, you spun around," answered Mosh.
"The whole talking inside our minds whilst also being aware of our reality is really difficult, isn't it," Samuel chimed in.
"I found it fascinating," replied Range. "I mean, we get to talk with everyone no matter where we are. It's like our little own world that our commander had created."
[Call For Help: Maxim Hallows has engaged Ryan Huang. Calling for the Knight's Order to respond. Would you like to respond? Yes/No]
What is this? Eh... how do you respond?
"Yes?"
{Confirmed. Please save Your Master!}
"Who said that?"
"Your highness? No one said anything..."
"I heard a girl's voice..."
"There's no girl here." The four of them looked at each other and around them.
"... Nevermind."
A floating thing suddenly popped in front of me. There were all sort of shapes and 5 dots in between two lines. One of the dots were slightly larger and colored yellow whilst the other four were colored white. There were other white dots scattered around. The lines then moved and more lines appeared. Off to the right, there were more dots but they were colored red with one dot colored green.
I have no idea what I'm looking at. What's with all these dots and lines and what's with the girl's voice?
The image in front of me shifted and the area with the red dots surrounding the green dot became larger and than another thing appeared in front of me.
What the... in front of me was an image of Maxim and his guards surrounding Ryan from all sides. They were outside a door that looked like Ryan's room.
Ah... I finally realized what all these were. How stupid could I be... the lines and dots were clearly a map of some sort and the other imagery... well that I cant explain. Was it some magic portal? How am I seeing something that's happening right in front of me but they are not.
I looked around for a second and it seemed that my men also was looking at the same thing. They started in front of them as if they were confused yet mesmerized by something.
I returned to continue watching the imagery displayed in front of me and it looked like Maxim was conducting a deal with Ryan... well... threatening more like it... but it seems that he refused which angered him. Maxim didn't show any anger on the surface from what the imagery showed me but I could tell.
I suddenly felt my heart raced as a female voice shouted inside my head.
{Please saver your master!}
"What was that?" everyone said in unison.
[Knight's Order has 3 minutes to reach Ryan. Failure means death.]
What?!
[Timer: 2:59]
A timer appeared in front me and it started to count down.
"Your highness! What should we do?"
"Everyone. We head to where Ryan is. Go"
I ran down the hallway as Grayson and the others followed. We turned left and was joined by the rest of the Knight's Order as we all ran around a bend and came to a dead end. Everyone was about to turn around when I tapped on the wall directly in front of me. The wall shifted to the side and a passage way appeared. This passageway will lead us directly behind the red dots. It was a secret short cut that only I knew. I knew because it was a hidden passage way I found whilst running away from my caretaker when I was a kid. It was like playing hide and seek but she never found me thanks to this passageway.
I led my knights right through the passageway to the hallway where Ryan and all his students room are located on. And what's more, it led directly behind all of Maxim guards.

The passageway had saved us a considerable amount of time as we marched towards Maxim guards.
I pushed my way through the crowd with little defiance as Maxim guards saw who I was and quickly to the side. We made a b line straight to Maxim and Ryan.
[Quest 'Call for help' Completed]

[All members of the Knight's Order will receive the skill, 'Might of the Order']
I only glanced at the words in front of me for a second before addressing Maxim. If Maxim wanted a fight, he sure will have one. I know that Maxim's guards are more experienced then the Knight's Order but that won't deter us. We will protect Ryan. Our Master. Our Commander.
Thankfully, Maxim never overstepped his boundaries and peacefully walked away with his guards.
I walked over to Ryan who smiled at me.
He asked us if we could head into his room. I was surprised by his words but complied. I guess he wanted to talk to us about something in private.
Loc went over to the door and unlocked the door. We all filed into the room. Ryan asked us to sit anywhere and to get comfy. It was a cramp small room, so I didn't know how comfy we could get but somehow we managed to get everyone seated. Most of the knights sat on the floor whilst some sat on the bed and couch. I sat on a chair and awaited for Ryan. He stood there near his bed unmoving.
I was about to walk over to him to see what's wrong but then he turned his head to me with a smile.
He spoke a few words but they weren't for me but to everyone.
"Okay, everyone let's meet the whole family... 'connect to everyone'."
As soon as he spoke those words, my mind went quiet. I couldn't even hear my own thoughts. Ryan mouth seemed to be moving but I couldn't hear what he said. Ryan gestured for not only me but everyone in the room to get up. We all got up and he gestured for us to follow him. He walked over to the door and proceed to open it.
The door opened and I couldn't see the hallway but a complete whiteness. Ryan walked through the door and disappeared into the whiteness. I gulped as I watched him disappear.
What the fuck?
Ryan's hand suddenly appeared from the whiteness and gestured for us to come.
I walked through the door first since I am the captain and their leader.

A hall that was bright and colorful appeared before me. I had to blink twice because it wasn't a hall I was familiar with. It didn't look a hall that was in the palace, it looked ancient.
A thing popped in front of me with all our names on it.

Level 3 with 23 members. I see. So this is like a register with all our names, ranks and levels. I was surprised at how detailed it was. It even says the names of all of Ryan's students and which guard was guarding whom.
"Hey little prince, surprised to see you here as well!" called out a voice that sent shivers down my spine.
I turned my gaze away from the register, to see seven people standing in front of me.
It was the King's guards. And beside them was also the head librarian. Why was she with them?
"Why are you here?"
"I should ask you the same thing but from your expression, you don't know either. Maybe boss will tell us, after all he's the one that brought us here."
"Boss? What are you talking about Tavish?"
"Let me explain everything," Ryan said and we turned our heads to his voice. In the giant hall, that's more like a throne room as I got a better look, Ryan was standing next to a very long table. "Come. Seat."
