"Serval, throw a flashbang!" Lizeth controlled the crowd that was trying to get out of that nightclub.
Clara pulled a pin from a flashbang and threw it into the middle of the crowds. It blew up and produced quite a loud noise. Lizeth followed up by throwing a white smoke grenade in the middle of the dance floor.
Clara: "Lima. Where's the dossier?"
Lima: "Second floor. The boss's room."
Clara: "Copy that. Lynx, lead the way."
Lizeth: "Oki dokie."
Lizeth walked to the nearest stairs. She cleared the way by using an adequate amount of force and some bullets.
"Die you," a guard was spotted aiming his pistol at her, but Lizeth was faster and she blew his head clean and accidentally penetrated the wall behind him.
"Ooops..." the effect of using a battle rifle in a CQB situation was that. You had the risk of over-penetration and casualty of civilians. She checked her magazine and it was the same incendiary armor-piercing rounds that she used back in the day. She exchanged the magazine with another one that used a full metal jacket.
"What's the matter Lynx?" Clara asked.
"Nothing."
The crowds were running in the middle of darkness as a flashlight that was coming from the guards were looking for Lizeth and Clara. In response, Clara shot everyone that was holding a shining thing on their hands. It was a good decision though. Fewer crowds = Less nuisance.
Lizeth kicked the door in the boss's room. She threw a 9-bang inside the room and she closed the door. The flashbang exploded nine times before it settled down. She kicked the door again.
"EVERYBODY GET ON THE GROUND NOW!"
Everybody was laying down on the ground, except for one person. That person was someone that Lizeth hoped that she wasn't there. Luckily, she was a hostage, not a target. She was cuffed to a chair in that room.
'Hi Iris,' Lizeth said on her heart. She wanted to smile at her. Weirdly enough, Clara didn't give a damn about Iris. Iris was an ordinary student and so did Clara, but why Clara didn't react?
Clara: "Lima, this is Serval. Do you copy?"
Lima: "Loud and clear. Over."
Clara: "We find a hostage here. Should we rescue her or do the usual?"
Lima: "Up to you, but check if the hostage is a trap or not."
Clara: "Copy that. Serval out."
Clara put away her rifle and grabbed her pistol. She pointed her pistol at Iris's head. 'Why the fuck my life is full of complicated things?' Lizeth sighed as Clara aimed that pistol at her head. The expression behind that balaclava was showing that Clara was smiling behind that balaclava.
"Good evening Iris," Clara said as she pointed her pistol at Iris's shoulder.
"How do you know my name?" Iris panicked as the person that she thought to be the rescue team was just another kidnapper.
"It's a secret," Clara put her finger at Iris's mouth. Clara aimed the pistol at her head, "Now say goodnight." She almost pushed the trigger, but Lizeth pulled her hands in response.
The bullet was flying, not to Iris's head, but to Lizeth's. The bullet hit Lizeth right in the face, but it only put a hole in the balaclava and a small wounds that a band-aid could heal. The nullification of 9mm ammo was real, she didn't feel pain except for the minor one.
"Don't kill civilians mindlessly," Lizeth said, "If you have a personal grudge, don't kill anyone, got it?" Lizeth gave back the pistol to Clara as she was shivering in fear. She didn't know that Lizeth had resistance to 9mm bullets. Basically, pistol rounds were useless to her.
"Ok."
Confused Iris. She became more scared as she saw that the two armored gunmen in front of her were having a quarrel. Looks like Iris hadn't seen someone that fired a gun to another person.
"Are you Iris?" Lizeth asked as she grabbed a bolt cutter from her back and checked Iris's hand. She was right, she was cuffed with a handcuff.
"Yes."
"It's going to hurt a bit," Lizeth pressed the bolt cutters hard on that cuff and the chain was broken in two thanks to that. She helped her to stand up and she carried her on her back.
Lizeth: "I secure the hostage. I will give it to the police."
Lima: "Copy that."
Lynn walked outside that nightclub with Iris on her back and Clara followed her from behind. Weirdly enough, everything went quiet. There were no more screams from the civilians or from the guards. Where was everyone?
"Serval, lead the way," Lizeth said as Clara put her M4 on her shoulder and she led the way. She walked slowly to the front entrance of the nightclub. The nightclub was empty, everyone had evacuated from that place. They headed back to Lizeth's car and she put Iris on the backseat.
"Serval, you drive," Lizeth entered the passenger seat.
Lima: "Guys. You have some company."
Six cars were entering the parking lot of that nightclub. Most of them were armed to the teeth. They were wearing a suit and holding guns. As a matter of fact, most of them were holding an assault rifle.
Clara pressed the gas pedal as the car moved away from the car park. The pursuer entered their car and chased them down. Clara's driving skills were enough, but it was far from Lizeth's capabilities.
Lima: "I can get a clear shot."
BOOM.
One of the cars got disabled after that boon sound could be heard. It looked like that Lynn used an anti-materiel rifle for that. Lizeth switched her weapon to her PKP and she opened the window of the car.
"Get some!!"
