Tristan walked fast between the corridors of Arcadia, passing amid the unnoticed crowd, as always only the invisible people, just like him, were able to perceive the young magician with no talent for magic. But something today was different, by looking at him fast walking, we wouldn't notice any difference, but if someone had enough interest to face him for no more than the time of a good look, they would notice that his face was different. Something was changing in the young magician and it wasn't only the mood and the joy with which he had woken up; something else had awakened in Tristan. We could define it as daring, at that moment he no longer seemed like a fearful young man who tried his best not to bother anyone by going unnoticed and who often served as the vessel of the wrath of many veteran students who like to spend time humiliating the weakest. He now seemed, if only a little, more fearless and courageous than before. Perhaps the wizard had always been like that, but for some reason, he had avoided all those years without making any mistakes. He suffered everything quietly since he was a boy that could only count on his great intellect and his ability to notice how the world worked and where he should employ his forces.
Since his in touch with the mysterious book, Tristan started acting more like himself and didn't need more than a brief encounter for the magician to feel uncomfortable with the way he was leading his own life. One day, perhaps, his great curiosity could put him in danger, but his desire to know how things worked was so strong that this drove him to observe all the little things even if they seemed insignificant to most. For Tristan, not being endowed with magic was not an impediment, but an opportunity to develop in several other areas. We could say that the young man had a piece of advanced knowledge in all sorts of subjects that did not involve magic. And more than anything, Tristan loved to invent, many things inside Arcadia were arranged by him. Once, the young man used the principles of spider's webs to create a system of strings so powerful they held in the air bones of a metallic dragon in the museum of paleontology, while all the solutions that were previously employed proved ineffective.
Arriving at his room, Tristan followed to his desk and started to hit the ground with his feet without stopping. He looked at the door several times, the curiosity he had held for years was scratching the doors where he had lost his curiosity. He tried to breathe, looked everywhere, and tried to entertain himself with a book that talked about counter malediction, one of his favorite themes. Every word of the book had already been recorded in his prodigious mind and the heavy content approached by the book seemed uninteresting in front of the possibility of doing one of the things he liked the most when he was little. Spying. Since Tristan learned how to walk, he sneaked between the ventilation system of the academy, this made this since he was a little boy he could observe themes that were only discussed by wizards who had graduated from the academy, he could follow the philosophical debates of several teachers, soon after he was already able to create his own against arguments and play that he was discussing with the people of the debate as an equal, this made him feel less strange and closer to normal, the possibility of talking normally with someone was something very coveted by the young wizard who kept being ignored. But it wasn't only this that Tristan had heard, having access to information that wasn't his job made him change his behavior completely. The adult world was frightening for Tristan, knowing this so early may have robbed him of his childhood, but he wasn't what we could consider normal.
Impatient, the wizard cut his finger and poured the blood into the book. It took a while for him to get an answer from it. The red words that were appearing because of his blood still impressed the little one, who quickly took pity and ink and wrote firmly, "How can I hide my presence from three holy magi?". Time passed, for the young man impatient for an answer, it seemed an eternity until he finally got an answer. "There is no way for you alone to fail to be noticed by a holy magician". Frustration, that was Tristan's first feeling, who got up and tried to use his intellectuality to think of a solution as soon as possible to the dilemma he was in.
-If I had a way to suppress my vital energy. -The magician spoke loudly, aware that the book somehow could hear what he was saying. -I need to find a way to leave no signature in the magical flow... If only I could make my body behave like something inanimate, it would not disturb the magic field and would not be noticed even by a holy magician... But how?!
Still with a serious expression on his face, Tristan realized that the book began to show some words inside. "Remember when to confuse the library system I became a part of you and was able to leave without any problem?" Tristan quickly read the words that were appearing and was already anxious to know what the next ones would be. After reading the whole sentence he understood what the book meant. For a short period, that object didn't have the status of an inanimate being, but rather an animated being, the book was a part of Tristan and the library system could not detect it. By doing the opposite, Tristan could evade the keen sense of a holy magician, since objects do not emit spiritual energy and therefore cannot disturb the spiritual field. "I can merge with you and do the opposite, I can make you have the status of an inanimate object for a period of time". That new information made the magician's eyes shine and a smile form in his mouth. So Tristan stood up and gave permission to the book to do what had to be done, the object began to loosen the pages and cover the whole body of the magician. At first, Tristan felt great nausea and a taste of paper filled his mouth. After the whole process was over, he looks himself in the mirror. His skin looked like pages of books, as he passed his hand on his face he realized he didn't have the touch, there was no sensitivity and his skin was now a perfect book page both in color and texture. A normal person would be freaking out, but for the young magician that was a strange experiment that he intended to study later and explore the possibilities of that discovery.
With a cape covering his entire body, the young magician sneaked out of his room and descended a small narrow staircase that was near the corridor of the floor where he slept, it led to the lower floors where Tristan would have access to the ventilation system. It had been a long time since the young man had used those systems, to be exact, they did two solar cycles and even so, the architecture remained alive in the wizard's mind. He took the path that led straight to the only place able to gather so many teachers and three holy magicians. The hall of the superior council. The little magician arrived at the place where the big assembly would take place and looking at all those people, he realized that everyone was equally curious about all that commotion. Nobody had the slightest idea of the terrible words they would hear come next. It was then that a wizard with bright eyes walked to the center of the hall accompanied by two more with equally bright eyes emitting an ethereal light.
-I need everyone's attention. -The voice of the holy magician of Arcadia's academy resounded everywhere, making silence fall on the assembly so that everyone who talked warmly would be silent. -Many of you already suspect that the gathering of three holy magicians in the same place, without being a programmed solemnity, can only mean one thing, a problem that needs the attention of all three. I wish that different circumstances had reunited me with my friends, Arganon of Eolia and Amara of Deva. -When listening to their names, the two other magicians took their place standing side by side with Astriel. That was a solemnity, by being nominated in front of the assembly of a different academy they could take the status of equal before the holy magician of the visited academy. -But, be aware that in a still unknown way a new disease is spreading through the Kingdom of Moroguel. In less than a quarter of a lunar cycle it has taken an entire village and is already spreading uncontrollably through several towns and cities. We received a distress message for us to send wizards able to discover the nature of the disease and create a countermeasure as soon as possible. The people affected by the disease have their forces drained little by little and a big black spot is taking over their skin and getting worse after a while for something even worse, the skin is dying. Even isolating the villages, the disease is still spreading and we believe that in half a solar cycle Moroguel will cease to exist, and not only that, all the kingdoms will fall before this unknown disease. So, we decided to create a line of combat and we will be sending the most remarkable magicians of Arcadia to meet with the magicians of Deva and Eolia who are already on their way to Moroguel. As Amara is the holy magician versed in counter maledictions and the arts of healing, she will be leading this front called the "alliance of Asclépio". Arganon and I will be raising a barrier in the region where the disease has already spread and no less the air will pass without our permission. I know that many of those who will never have experience with death, but be aware that Moroguel is not well at all. We received a message yesterday that people have already begun to die and not all are managing to be buried. Never in all those years have I had access to something so devastating and that disturbed me so much, at least never to hear about something similar that had happened in the last five hundred solar cycles. It was a lot of information, but we will select the people who will be part of the Asclépio alliance now and tonight we will be leaving.
{Hi guys. Today I am like an acquaintance, I don't know anything... It's been a long time since I put anything. But let's say I didn't have a good time during those months and I had to be took care by Amara in Deva. There are several problems that appear in the life of a young man who is trying to adapt in the adult world. I'm already getting my health back gradually and now I'll try to publish one chapter a week. I'm really happy in be able to visit Adorin again.}
