Following departure from the peak of Mt. Paozu, the three of them flew in formation towards the sore thumb sticking out of the western territory of the Terran Republic. As the three accelerated with their ki burning through the atmosphere, they closed the vast distance towards the Red Ribbon Fortress and the two adjacent Red Ribbon Towers that gave the fortress it's defense. As soon as they neared the towers, tens of low power depleted uranium cannons locked on and began firing towards them.
Of course, these heavy cannon shells would only deal negligible damage to either Lucian or himself, however with how weak Goku currently was or if one managed to hit Bulma in their rear, it would certainly wound or kill. Thus Hakurei couldn't simply allow the tower to remain standing much longer. He quickly raised his arms to the sky, gathering Ki high before bringing his arms down and thrusting his hands forward with fingers overlapping. The orb of ki burst out and expanded, consuming the midst of the tower.
"AYO WHAT THE-" shouted Lucian as she observed the signature ki technique for the first time. The remaining section of tower was quickly crumbled as soon as the top section crashed into it, resulting in an explosion consuming what was left of the first defensive tower entirely before the second tower's cannons locked onto Hakurei and began launching their payload towards him. As soon as the shells reached him, Hakurei quickly knocked the large shells to the side with a burst of ki, ensuring they only detonated once they slammed into the desert ground.
"What do you mean, Lucian? I just used my new signature technique. It may be more destructive than your ki blade technique but I only used about a tenth of my energy reserves. It's not the amount that matters, but how you use that amount." responded Hakurei with a sheepish grin. He quickly descended down to the ground near the base of the Red Ribbon Fortress, along with Goku and Lucian while Bulma pulled her 'aircycle' down for a landing. The second defense tower looked quite worse for wear, as Hakurei had deflected several shells back into the tower.
"Freakin' people and their insane energy reserves.." mutter Lucian, while the group moved to the only entrance to the Red Ribbon Fortress. The double doors burst open, bursts of intensified light pulsing towards Hakurei who expelled a layer of ki to absorb the pulsing beams of light before the group rushed out towards the foes. Son Goku was able to handle one of the Red Ribbon Elites on his own whilst Lucien overwhelmed the enemies and Hakurei was busy tangling with Gero's Android Five and had already destroyed one of it's two reactors.
Hakurei made quick work of the second reactor, ending the android while the elite mercenaries were finished off by Lucian and Son Goku. The three then rushed up to the third floor, destroying power generators on the second floor which allowed Bulma to enter and tail behind them. "Bulma, hack this fortress. I'm going to handle Android Seven and Colonel Silver. Staff Officer Black and the rest of the mercenaries are left to you Lucian, and for you Son Goku you've got Android Two. Shouldn't be too much of a challenge as it's one of Gero's oldest models."
The four nodded in affirmation, the other three moving to perform their objectives with Bulma making it to a console while Son Goku engaged with Android Two and Lucien had started clearing out the remainder of the mercenaries only to then fight Officer Black in a drawn-out duel. Hakurei smirked, kicking off with both fists through Android Seven and outright destroyed the android in one go - even with his power held to it's current extent. Commander Black quickly withdrew a wicked scimitar and observed Hakurei.
Colonel Silver brought a second scimitar from it's scabbard and swung both into a flurry of blows towards Hakurei, who quickly blitzed the human and brought his hands out into the wrists of the Colonel. With a quick snap, Hakurei broke the Colonel's wrists then released a series of small ki blasts ripping through his flesh. Silver roared in agony, attempting to recover himself, however it was already too late and a wave of ki consumed the human male sending him to hell in a heartbeat. Hakurei looked to the side, noticing that his compatriots had also cleared their tasks.
"I've gained full control and set the main reactor of the fortress to self-destruct in five minutes. We'll need to clear as much distance from this place as possible now. l've also downloaded a map of the keeps and fortresses of the Red Ribbon Army under charge of this 'Commander Red' fellow. For now, though, we should leave." responded Bulma. Hakurei nodded, and the four of them quickly cleared the fortress before the trio leapt into the sky and Bulma jumped on her aircycle. As the four of them left, the fortress exploded brilliantly.
