One day has passed since the incident, all the children were now returning to school and for the first time since she started school her Oratile was accompanying her brother.
Oratile tried more than once to get his attention but he was just not there at all, not only that but he was too fast for. 'Wasn't I the athletic one,' she wondered as she started picking up her pace to match him.
Laone had bigger fish to fry though, there were green blobs flying around them. Laone as a high ranked gamer x6 in the world's largest game knew a lot of unnecessary things and one of those things was that fish don't fly.
These peculiar blob fishes were pink in color and their ski was collapsed nonetheless they still swam on. [BLOODLUST DETECTED] Was the notification keeping Laone away from his sister, he did not want to make it obvious that they were together incase someone were to try and hurt her.
Laone decided to get close to them and get a scent but failed, the fishes kept on going like they could not see him. So he picked up even more speed and got near another one and started to sniff it.
He realised that it was a big mistake as water rushed in through his nostrils, he subconciously released Iris to freeze and take away all foreign substances that had just entered his body.
This meant that even oxygen was taken away from Laone robbing him of the chance to continue walking. He almost collapsed on the ground and this shocked Oratile, she ran towards her brother in fear for his well being.
"The hell are you doing in the middle of the road, are you okay?"
Laone got his breath back and he pushed Oratile away, just a little bit before going on with his journey. She was pissed off and decided to ignore him, Oratile moved over to the other lane and disappeared from her brother's vicinity.
Iris's sudden appearance had alarmed the blobs and they swam around in a frenzy, Laone using his 2020 vision was able to pick the fact that these blobs were numbered.
'A dialer,' he thought to himself silently and not wanting to cause any more violence than needed.
[Correct these here blob fishes are dials. And from the looks of things they are much stronger than anything you have.]
'Useless system,' Laone snarled at the notification before deciding to move forward as slowly as possible. He had the idea that if these guys were dials and he just took out his phone without warning the chances of him being attacked were beyond ten.
Laone decided to take his phone out while walking so that if at all they were paying any attention to him they would be distracted by his other movements. The phone's function was to allow Laone to release Ivy, even though sending Iris back into the system would have been the wiser thing to do Laone liked challenges.
The blobs flew down closer to Laone and their bodies were starting to take shape, from gelloton to a slightly slimmer body. Laone noticed that this caused an increase in the pressure around him and that pressure rushed into his body.
Just as it got in blood hopped out of his mouth so he increased his speed a little bit. The fish went back to their blob ugly appearance and Laone took his phone out of his portable storage.
"8th dial, Ivy." Ivy halfway erupted from the phone and put both her arms around Laone like she was being carried. Ivy carefully looked at the blobs and came up with the numbers 5 and 4 meaning those things were more powerful than the three of them. Considering that Laone could touch and harm dials.
Laone whispered into Ivy's ear and Ivy communicated with her brother to decrease the temperature of the air around him. The blobfish started to swim towards Laone and Iris finally started to walk forward.
The temperature got lower and lower as Iris and the blobs got nearer, when they were finally close enough Iris was sent back into the phone. Ivy was left to restore the temperature back to optimal.
Blob fishes live in extremely cold areas so Laone was right to have Iris optimise the atmospheric temperature for them. This made the blobs stay close to him and ultimately followed him back to Laone they had also reshaped meaning the pressure around them was extreme. Laone commanded Ivy to make the temperature wamer in order to bring out the odors in the fish and to also negate their pressure effect.
This was also successful, Laone had the scent of the dials and with this he had his first clue. Yes, Laone decided to investigate the arson that went on.
Laone wasn't doing this for justice or anything, he just wanted to learn more about dials. Where do they originate from, their categories, how to fight them off and most importantly he wanted to know about their users and how people become dialers.
The only problem now was how to get rid of these fish, they were collapsing even more than they were before and decreased the pressure in the surroundings.
'I am not yet ready to be a science experiment so I am just speed up a little,' there was a group of students ahead of Laone so he thought that he could lose the blobs there.
[Oh my, are you going to feed those people to the blobfish?]
'Blobfish don't eat people you useless entity, I could do a better job at...' Laone was cut short by a familiar scent. The scent of the blobs, there were two behind him but there was a super strong one ahead of him.
A new challenge now presented itself, do I survive these blobs first or do I take my chances and go and find out who the dialer is?
