Chapter 167 - Chapter 167: Ninth Famine

Resh has been yawning the whole time he arrived. Well, aside from almost having his head chop off for flirting.

"Come on! father why did you even ask this useless old man to get home." Kiel complained as his wounds got cleaned by Lehi and Hexel.

"Sorry son, I already knew this would happen but you see he is the only one who is available at this current pinch."

Cyrus exasperatedly explained.

"Then it could have been better to grab Aleph right?"

Kiel suggested as he groan from the pain when Hexel applied some pressure on his wound.

"I did try but he was busy preparing for his upcoming wedding that is happening today. I already sent a letter about our situation." Cyrus extended.

Resh snored by the time the two finished exchanging their line.

"I honestly want to kick this old man out." Ain added who caught Resh before his head hit the window pane.

Mem and Evi delivered their dinner and left to aid Cyprus and Natalina.

Natalina paced back and forth in front of Cyprus as she bit her nail.

"Stop that or your nail will disappear."

Cyprus teased.

"I am worried of Urchin."

Natalina answered and stood in front of him.

"I fell the same but Cyrus gave me the look that it's dangerous for that WAS to keep encountering me or else it might do some thing that is fearful enough for Cyrus to give me that look. Let's do what we can with our sons, okay?"

Cyprus gently explained as he stare at his children who are sleeping within their cribs.

Mem and Evi returned with a plate of dinner and infromed them about the situation as Lila tag along.

"Sienna said that it's safer for Cyprus and family to represent and attend Aleph's wedding. No questions asked because it will protect the triplets."

Lila stated as she opened a portal to attend the wedding.

Lila protested when she heared from Cyrus that Cyprus need to be sent outside the Kingdom. Lila wanted to protect her son but as the Royal Princess she also cannot disobey the King's order. Kiel assured her that he will protect their son which made Lila comforted.

Cyrus called her for a brief discussion and was surprised to recieve a hug from her father-in-law.

" I know that you desire to protect Urchin but this move will also protect you from that demon. Resh mentioned earlier that it might take advantage of your line and will use your body to kill your own son. Please understand and connect that portal to send our regards and for the security of your son."

Lila nod and thanked Cyrus. She clapped her hands as the vow and ceremony smoothly sailed.

Urchin had his eyes opened and looked at Kiel.

"Papa, please help me. This chains hurts."

Kiel automatically step closer to the bed but Resh halted him and step forward.

"1917 Famine the bloody decade where innocent blood are shed because of evil desires with Jezebel as the queen. I know you wen't through a lot but your journey ends here."

By Resh's declaration, Was started smoking out and roaring.

"That girl was innocent but you treated her like a pig. I can see how you broke her from inside out, now it's pay back time. Heaven has come to collect that debt and be gone."

Resh powerfully seized the moment and left the Tale bearers in awe.

Urchin woke up only to rest again.

"Just who is that old man." Ain asked.

Cyrus attended their curiousity and replied.

"He may look like a useless person most of the time but when it comes to this moment. He is reliable. He has the gift of absolute heaven. If you want to know, schedule some training with him."

Resh cleaned his ear with his pinky finger and said.

"No way, it will be a pain. I will only train those who are in my line. Those who are not will be a waste of time and effort."

Ain grit his teeth and muttered.

"How picky!"

Resh pointed at Ophir and Nevi with Urchin and added Lila on the list.

"Cyrus spare some training time with your hopeless son. Or he will be the cause of your early death." Resh commented.

Cyrus just wave it but he knew where those words are coming from.

" Kiel and Ain will train with me. Hexel and Lehi your trainer will arrive later on."

Cyrus said and was about to exit the room.

"It's Cyprus right?" Hexel asked.

"Nope someone who is in my friend list."

Cyrus wrapped up before having his back fade from the hall.

Hexel opened his door and was reminded that Sienna is still within the Palace. He totally forgot about his wife who looks comfortably reading on his couch with a blanket and pillow.

"What are you doing there? Do you seriously plan to sleep separately from me?" Hexel pointed.

Sienna just nod her head as she kept reading.

"Get up here or I will carry you from there." Hexel warned.

Sienna instantly toss herself on the bed as Hexel laid beside her.

"How was your day so far? Did you get tired?" Hexel inquired as they lay flat on the bed.

"Yup, In our case we don't only witness the events but we also felt all the emotional and physical inflicted from each vision."

Sienna explained as she yawn. Hexel can now trace the roots of the sudden bruises and scratches on her neck and ample.

Hexel just stared at her for a while. He watched her breath rises above her chest. Hexel scooped her in his arms which alerted Sienna.

Her expression made Hexel worried. He gently lifted her long sleeve pajama and saw her back full of belt mark.

"Why did you remain silent about this?"

Hexel scolded.

"Because this is natural for us.... I mean it will be healed. That will be gone tomorrow." Sienna stated.

Hexel had his finger touch the line and saw Sienna reacted.

"This does not only look painful."

Hexel said as he yanked Sienna to lay in his chest as he gently secured her shoulder.

"For now this is the best thing I can do for you."
