UCHIHA COMPOUND,
NIGHT OF THE
UCHIHA MASSACRE...
"This is horrible!" said one of the ANBU.
"Rescue anyone who is still alive!" ordered the Third Hokage.
"There's a survivor!" exclaimed one of the female ANBU.
"Take him to the Medical Unit!" ordered the Third Hokage.
"Everyone else is dead" said one of the ANBU.
"Who could have done such a thing?" questioned another one.
Just then Danzō arrived at the scene and answered, "Itachi Uchiha!"
"Itachi?!" exclaimed and at the same time questioned some of the ANBU in disbelief.
Suddenly ANBU Dog arrived at the crime scene, horrified he asked, "Who caused this?"
"Itachi Uchiha harboured a secret about his clan, he despised it, that is why he killed Shisui and took his eyes for his own. And also why he caused infighting among his brethren and in the end, he committed this atrocity." said Danzo.
"But, why would he?" Dog asked in surprise.
The Third Hokage glared at Danzo and then said, "That's enough chatter. Now, get back to work! Take away the corpses, I mean every single one of them. Search the buildings too. " ordered the Third Hokage. They nodded and left except ANBU captain Dog.
"Lord Third! I have come to inform you of another matter altogether!" said the ANBU Dog.
"What is it?" inquired the Third Hokage. Dog(Kakashi) then explained to him of Naruto's situation.
"What! Are you sure of it?" asked the aged Hokage for confirmation.
"Yes, Sir!" replied Dog in affirmative.
"Take those involved into custody." ordered Hiruzen.
"There are atleast fifty civilians and thirteen shinobi involved in this case. Are you sure?" said Dog.
"I will handle it. Take them into custody." said Hiruzen not understanding the gravity of the situation due to the stress of the Uchiha massacre.
Danzo smiled at the Hokage's response since he could clearly understood the situation better than him that is going to come in the future.
"Hai!" said Dog and left to take those involved in the case into custody.
"Oh! Naruto! What have you gotten yourself in this time?" sighed the Third Hokage.
"Hiruzen! It would appear that this settle's everything." said Danzo calmly.
"What does it settle!? Are you not able to see the huge problem we're still left with?" said the Third Hokage in anger.
"I consider it minor!" replied Danzo feigning indifference.
"Hear me, Danzo! I can't allow you to act on your own authority anymore. You are now relieved of your duties as the second-in-command of Konohagakure." said the furious Third Hokage.
"Listen Hiruzen! I did this...." a desparate Danzo tried to justify himself, though his face didn't show any of those emotions.
But he was interrupted by a very stern Third Hokage, "What?! For the good of the leaf! The Uchiha clan was a part of the leaf." he paused and then continued, "Furthermore, your ANBU and Foundation will be dissolved and later, I will deal with you personally till then you are under house arrest."
The Third Hokage issued his verdict on Danzo Shimura and then walked away back to the Hokage office to find out about Naruto's predicament.
Danzo also started walking with a face, if one were to look, they will conclude that everything was fine. However inside he was in turmoil with a volcano of erupted emotions of anger, frustrations and helplessness; "Curse you, Hiruzen! Can't you see, I managed to help leaf avoid a great disaster... Can't you for once stop being naive and see things for how they are not how you want to see them... but it matters not I will continue to protect the Leaf Village whether you agree with my methods or not... even without your consent... but this turn of events has made things a little difficult for me, not to mention, I lost the seat in the council... but all is not lost... all I have to do is be more careful and vigilant than ever. I will dissolve the foundation for now, if only to please Hiruzen but it is also a truth without strong Roots a tree can't nurture, no matter what. I hope that everything has gone well with Fuū... Now with the Uchiha clan gone, Konohagakure needs it's jinchuriki more than ever. Also with the loss of my power in the council and dissolution of the Foundation, atleast for the time being, it looks like I have no choice but to take him under my wing as an apprentice rather than as a soldier of the Root to better prepare him." Danzō thought and then frowned, "I have no choice but to manipulate those damned, useless Civilian Council members to get this done, not to mention, I have to also convince Kohura and Homura that training the Jinchūriki in controlling it's power is far better and more beneficial than their stupid plan to imprison the Jinchūriki and make him live the rest of his life in house arrest. Then, there is also the Shinobi council to worry about and foremost Hiruzen." thought Danzo.
He was engrossed in his thoughts when two of his agents approached him and one of them said, "Lord Danzo, the body count doesn't match up."
Surprised Danzo asked, "What's that?"
The Root ANBU replied, "It's like they just disappeared into thin air."
Danzō was contemplating about the disappearances when he realised something was odd with the other Root ANBU Bear by his side. On giving further attention he saw two Sharingans, Mangekyō Sharingan of the Itachi.
So, naturally, he narrowed his eyes at him. Then Itachi responded, "I witnessed everything. And I will continue to watch, if you so much as touch Sasuke, I will pass on classified village intel to every enemy nation."
He threatened Danzō and left with a crow substitution. Danzo frowned at this development and said, "Curse you Itachi!"
SOMETIME AGO,

HOLDING CELL.....
Naruto wake up with a headache and after analysing the surroundings, he found himself behind the bars.
"What the... Hey! What's going on? I am innocent! Where is jiji? Heyyyyy! Somebody answer me... Damn it... Listen to me! It's all a misunderstanding. I was only trying to help the old police man... Nothing more... I visited the Uchiha compound only because I just wanted to prank them to get back at Sasuke-teme for insulting me at the academy... Hey! Listen to me... Hokage jiji! Where are you? Could you tell me what happened to Sasuke-teme and the Uchiha Clan? Are they alright? There was lots of blood... It was horrible... He was my classmate and a member of the Uchiha Clan... Hey! I said all of those things to the mob to scare them because they wanted to lynch me... I didn't murder the old police man... Hey! Listen to me, I didn't do anything... Somebody answer me, please!... I didn't do anything... I am innocent... Somebody help me! Hokage jijiiiii..." Naruto screamed his lungs out.
"I suppose we got most of the answers, Kakashi-senpai." said the purple haired ANBU Cat.
"Yes! I will go inform Lord Hokage about this, in the meantime you all start the investigation." ordered the ANBU Dog(Kakashi).
"Hai!" Team Ro replied in unison.
Kakashi then left to inform the Third Hokage oblivious of the fate of the Uchiha Clan.
PRESENT TIME,
HOKAGE TOWER,
HOKAGE'S CHAMBER.....
"Dog! I want a thorough investigation in this case. I will go talk to Ibiki and Inoichi about it. They will help us and with their expertise, tomorrow Naruto will be a free bird. So don't worry too much about it." assured the Hokage not understanding the gravity of the situation, believing naively that the villager's hatred for the Nine-Tails and by proxy for Naruto has decreased significantly in the past eight years, so he didn't foresaw the impending doom coming for our Hero.
"Lord Hokage, will you visit him to comfort him?"asked ANBU Dog.
"Huhhh! I am sorry! I couldn't visit him, I am currently very busy due to the massacre and all but tomorrow I will make up to him. I am sorry, Kakashi." replied the Hokage in sadness.
"Understandable! Lord Hokage!' replied Dog (Kakashi) monotonously.
EAST DISTRICT OF
KONOHAGAKURE,
DANZO'S QUARTER....
"Lord Danzō, it has been done." said Fuū while kneeling infront of his master.
"Good work! Fuū! I expected nothing less from you. Prepare the 'Foundation' to go underground, I have no doubt Hiruzen will do some extensive investigation on it and he mustn't find anything on it. We will remain inactive for the time being but that doesn't mean we are dissolved. From tomorrow onwards, the Foundation will operate fully from the shadows. Do you all Understand?" asked Danzo.
"Hai" they replied in unison.
"Kasumi! Take your team and make sure that the public knows everything about the case of the Jinchūriki, do everything in your power to make sure that the masses believe that he has a hand in the Uchiha massacre. He must be FRAMED with sufficient enough proof to make sure the citizens of the Konohagakure start causing upheaval and uproar which will force the Konoha Council to make the Jinchuriki held accountable and later punished. Thereupon I will handle everything or rather Kohura and Homura will handle everything for me." said Danzo in confidence, miscalculating the fear and civil unrest this action will create within the citizens of Konohagakure which will lead to Naruto's eventual imprisonment and Konohagakure losing it's Jinchūriki's complete faith and trust.
"Soon! Soon! The Nine-Tails will be within my grasp and Konohagakure will become more powerful than ever." thought Danzō darkly, "Uzumaki! You are finally within my grasp after so many years of hardwork and planning. Now I will train you to become what you are destined to be: The most powerful weapon in the history of Konohagakure since Hashirama Senju."
