After operating, doctors called Kruthika in their cabin to discuss about seriousness of her parent's condition. Kruthika went inside the cabin as per instructions.
The doctor was a senior neurologist surgeon of the hospital, he was in his late fifties.
D: So you the relative of both the patients?
K:(leaving a deep sigh) Yes doctor, it's me, I'm their daughter.
D: There's no one elder or any closest relative to them apart from you?
K: Why doctor? Belive me sir, I can handle it well, whatever the problem is!
D: Since you are insisting, and as we don't have any time now, okay. So may I know your name?
K: Kruthika.
D: So Kruthika, I won't give you false hopes, when the truck crashed the car your parents were sitting in the back seat, and their heads got hit to the seats in front, they have got a severe injury. It made them to lose their memory.
K: They won't even recognise me?
D: I'm sorry to say this but yes. They don't remember anything. Your father's case is not as serious as your mother. He can't remember now, but eventually he can, or may be not. And your mother will never have her memory back. (As he pointed to the screen showing the scan of their brains). Since she her brain has got injury very severely.
K: Will they survive for longer time as they did before accident, I mean because of this accident their life span will not reduced right doctor?!
D:I can't assure that, but it depends on how you handle them. You shouldn't force them to recall the things in past, you shouldn't stress them.
K: (Sobbing) Is there anything that we can do, like operations or therapies.
D: If there is anything then I would have informed you. Do you want to file a case against that truck driver who caused this.
K: No (She moved her head left and right). I'm happy that I still have two people whom I love the most. What if they threat me again and take there lives and I'll be orphan.
D: Anyways, it's your call of decision.
K: Doctor, can I shift them to the hospital in my town.
D: Okay, but tomorrow.
Kruthika took the reports and came out of the cabin.
She went near the ICU, saw her father and mother in different rooms through the transparent glass. She asked nurse to shift them together in the same room so that she can take care of both of them. Nurse agreed to her and shifted them in the same room.
By the time nurse shifted them Kruthika's grandparents (both maternal and paternal), along with them her uncle and aunt arrived.
Kruthika explained about the situation to them about the accident and doctor's report.
"Oh dear! How did you handle all this all alone?", her maternal grandma, Sheela asked her, as she cried.
"It's okay, now you won't be alone since we are here to stand beside you", her aunt(father's sister), Sonalika said.
"Yes dear, your aunt is right", said her husband, Mohan.
"I need your help to shift my parents to the hospital in our town. It'll be problem, I can't look after them here", Kruthika said to her grandparents ignoring Sonalika and Mohan.
Sonalika, is Madhusudhan's sister, but they differ too much. She's a money minded and a gold digger. And her husband Mohan is no different from his wife.
Everytime she visits Madhusudhan's home she always demands a costly gift from him, Madhusudan tries very hard to make his sister happy by giving gifts even in his financial unstable situation.
Madhusudan have his share of ancestry asset to Sonalika, because he never belives in making such money for his children infact he just wants pass good ethics. But this demon is never satisfied by anything.
Sonalika never treated Madhavi with affection not even once, all she has done is to only spill evil about her behind her back. After knowing her tricks Madhusudan just maintained distance from her and never invited her to home again.
Sonalika was very jealous of her niece and nephew as they were very clever and intelligent than her kids. When Kruthika got the top college, she thought her brother would fail to arrange the money for her studies and would get her admission for some normal degree courses.
She wanted Kruthika as her daughter-in-law, because there would be no chance for Madhusudan to decline her buying gifts. If Kruthika learns more then she might get a good alliance for her in future, which she didn't wanted.
Even this time Kruthika didn't call her nor her husband, but her paternal grandparents brought her along with them. Her paternal grandparents see all such behaviour of their daughter but still they choose to remain silent.
Kruthika never liked her relatives apart from her maternal grandparents. But it was her duty to inform both of her grandparents about the situation despite their behaviour towards her.
"Did you take the permission of doctor", her maternal grandfather, Subash asked Kruthika.
"Yeah I did. I don't know what to do further?", Kruthika cried hugging her grandparents.
"Yeah, paying the Bill might be a huge task for you. Isn't it!! Well I'll look after it", Mohan answered. He thought Kruthika was saying about money, but she was talking about the state of her parents and further what she can do.
"No need of that. I've taken care of it, my father never wants the charity of others. He never liked to live in debt of others no matter whatever the relation may be", Kruthika answered spitting fire.
She had no mercy for them and showed no respect. Afterall both of them spoke evil about her mother when she was being kind to them.
Even now if Madhavi knew that Kruthika spoke in this way to elders she would have given slap to Kruthika. Madhavi thought that karma will take care of everyone and there's no need of taking revenge on such people wasting our time.
"Yeah, but your father don't remember anything. He has lost his memory", Sonalika answered in place of her husband.
"Aunty, my father has lost his memory not his character, unlike some people who can lick other's shoe for there work, my father has done self esteem", Kruthika answered in the same tone.
