Chapter 324 - Two Star Rank 2 Fae Weapon

Another young woman stepped up to the stage. Her appearance was slightly better than the Blissful Leaf already standing on the stage in front of her. Her temperament was the complete opposite of the crimson haired woman opposite her, and was much more refined.

The small smile on her face seemed unblemished by worldly desires, as if a motionless lake, whose surface remained calm and tranquil, and whose depths were unfathomable.

Giving Blissful Leaf a small nod, the woman nodded, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

"My name is Graceful Rain. I am also 17 years old and am a follower of the School of Forging. I specialize in Water Attributed Fae".

A few eyes within the crowd widened, including Dagen who was still standing beside Henrik.

The School of Forging was the largest and only School of the Blacksmithing Attribute and was primarily focused on Metal Attributed Fae and Fire Attributed Fae.

The White Dominion Region, which boasted their power in the path of Corpses, didn't have a strong amount of Alchemy Attributed or Blacksmith Attributed Fae, or relevant Fae materials. This Graceful Rain wasn't a member of the White Dominion Sect, but considering that she still managed to be invited here spoke volumes about her background.

Even thought the Blacksmithing Attribute was one of the newly discovered Attributes within the Thirty Three Heavens, it was extremely popular with both Humans, and the Myriad Races.

Fae Weapons didn't possess an Attribute, so even members of the Myriad Races could use them, or use abilities outside of their innate Attributes. Human, or even spirit beast Fae Blacksmiths outside of Human Heaven were extremely well received by almost any power.

Vladimir seemed slightly interested.

Even though the Nightime Demon Sect was an Immortal Sect, they walked the path of Ghosts, not the path of Forging.

Considering it was a new Attribute, and by extension a new type of Laws and Fae, innovation and discovery occurred almost daily, and the limits of what is currently thought possible is almost always being tested.

Arthur raised an eyebrow.

"Water Attributed Forging.... Interesting".

It was possible to use water to refine metals and precious materials, although it was a much slower, and much more careful process than using fire to refine or purify Fae materials.

The water had to carry a purification trait, or possess an immense pressure which could narrow down the size of the metal or material.

Water did possess a quality of freedom and unfettered movement, but also of immense pressure and weight. Perhaps there were such Fae materials that needed qualities such as those in order to be refined, instead of the characteristics of fire or heat.

Out of everyone in the audience, Dagen was undoubtably the most excited.

He was probably the only other person who walked the path of Blacksmithing present, but unlike Graceful Rain, his foundations and knowledge on the path of Forging was practically non-existent. If it wasn't for the situation going on in front of him, he would definitely go up to Graceful Rain and try to talk to her.

Blissful Leaf just smiled, nodding her head while clasping her hands in front of her.

"It is my honour to fight you!".

The moment she said those words, Blissful Leaf's demeanour changed, and her gaze grew sharp as she raised her fists. Her posture and footing immediately shifted as well, as she gazed at Graceful Rain.

The Blacksmithing specialist Fae Master just nodded, summoning a Storage Fae and taking out an extremely large weapon.

For a second there it almost seemed as though she was pulling out a staff, but when the extremely long and curved blade on the end of the polearm was revealed, more than a few eyebrows within the crowd raised, while Dagen's expression changed into one of awe.

Unlike Eric's crappy one star Rank 1 Fae Weapon, Dagen could clearly see the two nodes where the Fae had been embedded into the Fae Weapon. The sharp, curved edge of the blade was unlike Eric's Fae Weapon as well, which possessed bright blue lines, reminiscent of veins.

The closest thing that someone could compare this scythe's blade too, was perhaps a bolt of lightning, cutting through the cloudy night. The pattern itself was faint, yet the nodes where the Fae were placed glowed a faint blue.

Arthur gazed at the weapon, before letting out a deep breath.

'It's not a two star Rank 2 Weapon, but a-'.

Vladimir noticed it as well.

It was faint and almost unnoticeable, but on the very end of the scythe, on the opposite side of the polearm section, was another hidden Fae Weapon node.

It wasn't a two star Rank 2 Weapon, but a three star Rank 3 Fae Weapon!

That mean that three Rank 3 Fae had gone into the creation of this single weapon! Even within the White Dominion Region, a character that could create such a thing would undoubtably have their name echo far and wide, even towards the neighbouring Sects and Clans!

"She seems like someone interesting", Vladimir pointed out.

Arthur didn't say anything, just gazing at her Fae Weapon intently.

Violet Sunglass herself didn't know the origins of this Graceful Rain. Only that a few weeks ago, roughly around the same time that the Boundless Forest Yearning arrived within the White Dominion Region, this Graceful Rain, along with a peak Rank 4 Fae Master arrived and made themselves at home within White Corpse City.

They had used the Sect Leaders personal carriage, so a few of the Elders had their interests slightly peaked when they heard of this new Fae Master with connections to Generous Soul.

If Arthur knew this little fact, he would know that this was the carriage he had seen on way towards White Corpse City.

He tried to piece together information based on what he was looking at right in front of him, but just sighed and shook his head.

'Water Attributed Forging.... It's not exactly someone uncommon a few hundred years from now. But was there anyone this far back that specialized in such specializations?....'.

This three star Rank 3 Fae Weapon was something that most Rank 4 and Rank 5 Fae Masters didn't possess. The difference in difficulty between creating a two star Rank 2 Fae Weapon and a three star Rank 3 Fae Weapon was.... extraordinary.

Naturally, the power of a ten star Rank 2 Weapon and a three star Rank 3 Weapon was up for debate, however, possessing three abilities rather than two was always something that an experienced Fae Master could use to catch their opponents off guard.

Variation rather than overwhelming force.

Graceful Rain swung her scythe in her arms, letting the blade dig several inches into the strengthened material the martial stage was created out of.

Just this alone indicated that the force and killing power of the blade was more than enough to cut through flesh and bone.

"My Fae Weapon is called Severing Cloud. Please be careful not to get cut".

Blissful Leaf just grinned, the fire in her eyes burning even brighter than before.

Violet Sunglass just glanced at the two competitors, before swinging her arm down, announcing the start of the fight.

"Begin!".
