The fact that the Boundless Forest Yearning was currently within White Corpse City was no longer a not-well hidden secret. It was out in the open for everyone to see.
The fact that the Sect Leader of the White Dominion Sect had paid a visit to the young Rank 3 Fae Master was also a well known fact. The contents of their discussion was varied, and all sorts of different truths and lies arose out of this single conversation.
"The Sect Leader of the White Dominion Sect wanted to recruit the Boundless Forest Yearning! Having a Sovereign Boundary Physique within a Sect would guarantee at least another Rank 5 Fae Master within their Ranks!".
"You idiot! The Boundless Forest Yearning is a Wood and Emotion Attributed Physique! Why in the world would they want to learn the path of Corpses and the path of Thoughts?!".
"He still has two more Origin Essence Seas! Why wouldn't he learn them!?".
A number of individuals even just visiting White Corpse City paid a visit to the Returning Galaxy Auction House in search of information. They had been in the White Dominion Region on business, and now that a Sovereign Boundary Physique had suddenly appeared, they couldn't help but be a little bit interested.
Needless to say, Elder Raincloud and Lord Blood Mist made quite a bit of money selling information related to Arthur.
They might not give out information regarding the contents of his purchases with the Returning Galaxy Auction House, as that was against customer privacy, however, giving out information on Arthur himself, as well as his companions wasn't out of the question.
Needless to say, Arthur was quite busy over the next few days.
"Oi! Which one of you fuckers is the Boundless Forest-".
"Fuck off".
With a flick of his finger Arthur launched a weak Silver Waning Moon at the man who had just kicked open the doors to the Inn he was currently staying at. Unlike most of the other opponents Arthur had dispatched over the last few days, this one had heard about his powerful Attribute Control Skills, and was more than ready for Arthur's attack.
He summoned an enormous Rank 3 Bronze Shield Fae which was rectangular, and large enough to cover the entirety of his front. Despite the fact that it would push them back, Arthur could say for certain that he wouldn't be able to pierce such a thing with a single move.
Unfortunately for them however-.
Arthur's power of Intent surged, and the green-silver beam of light "twisted" numerous times, bending at ninety degree angles before piercing straight through the the neck of the middle aged Rank 3 Fae Master.
The sound of a lifeless body hitting the floor echoed throughout the Crimson Sun Inn.
Arthur didn't even glance at this man before turning toward Milena, who had already gone to fetch the body.
.... It wasn't everyday one got to use the corpse of a Rank 3 Fae Master in experiments, now was it?
Over the last few days, Arthur had been badgered and annoyed constantly by rogue Fae Masters and petty thieves hoping to make a killing by stealing or defeating a Sovereign Boundary Physique wielder.
His cultivation as a Rank 3 Fae Master was public, but many misinformed individuals underestimated the legends and the abilities of Sovereign Boundary Physiques. Arthur's cultivation paled in comparison to the Empyrean Worldly Essence, and yet he was nineteen and a Rank 3 Fae Master.
The vast majority of these "opponents", if one could even call them that, didn't fully understand what it meant to possess Laws, or Intents, or Attribute Control Skills either. They knew that it was an "ultimate move" which transcended the usage of a single, or a handful of Fae but their knowledge and comprehension on "how" Fae should connect and "how" origin essence should flow was even lower than Nyssa and the others.
If none of these things flowed properly, or were properly in sync, then the feedback would be placed on the Fae Master.
And if that happened, then the force that should've been launched at the enemy would then flow back into their own body. If it wasn't dealt with quick enough then....
".... boom. I win".
Arthur moved his rook, placing Eric's king in a trap, causing the younger male to sigh, while shaking his head.
"How are you so good at this?".
Arthur shrugged his shoulders.
"Before I turned fifteen, all I did was practice martial arts, research Fae and Fae materials and practice strategy with my older brothers and Father. From the moment I was born I had been trained to become a Fae Master. It's not talent, it's just experience".
Eric sighed once more, knowing that as a mortal born Fae Master, he lacked the depths of knowledge that Arthur and Milena possessed. Even Henrik had a better grasp of Fae and Fae materials than him.
Ever since they left the Winter Rain Mountains, he had stopped drinking as much and had picked up the sword once more. Unlike before, when he tried to wilfully copy all of Arthur's techniques and abilities, Eric solely devoted himself towards the sword.
Arthur stated that he had absolutely no talent for the sword, but Eric continued on, practicing everyday for several hours with it.
Arthur thought the action was useless, but didn't say anything.
Eric was his own man, and could make his own decisions. So long as he didn't lag behind the others in terms of strength, he could do whatever the hell he wanted with his life.
Arthur leaned back into the chair behind him, before turning around, hearing a set of familiar footsteps.
"Ah! Little master! Come back here!
"Dada?".
Arthur blinked a couple times, before looking down at the small creature hugging his leg. The black coloured hair on his head, combined with the green tint to his eyes made it obvious that the pair shared at least some sort of relationship, although the main similarity between them was their facial features.
Even at such a young age, Grigori possessed the same nose as Arthur. It was much smaller of course, however when put side-by-side, one would instantly be able to tell the relationship between the two.
Unlike Ophelia or Titania, Grigori seemed much more intelligent for his age, already walking and speaking, despite speaking in relative gibberish. He was quite tall for his age as well, and Arthur already knew that the blood of the Kovacs Clan ran thick within his eldest son.
Before Arthur could do anything, Lavinia picked up the young child, letting him sit on her forearms while he clung to her neck.
Grigori reached his hand out towards Arthur, and the nineteen year old let the small child take his single finger and wrap it around with his much smaller ones. Despite the heart-warming scene Arthur didn't even feel so much as a shred of parental pride, or fatherly love for this small human.
So long as he was useful in the future would Arthur keep him around.
If he wasn't, then just look at that idiot that Milena was currently carrying away....
"Um... excuse me. Is this where Mr Arthur Kovacs is currently staying?".
Arthur suppressed a groan, turning his head slightly towards the front entrance of the Crimson Sun Inn. His expression perked up the moment he saw a slightly familiar face, in addition to the presence of two peak Rank 3 Fae Masters.
Nyssa lifted her head also from her breakfast and glanced at the young woman before standing up.
"Miss Violet! What.... what are you doing here this morning?".
The other members of the Kovacs Clan, except for Milena stopped what they were doing and focused on Arthur and this Violet Sunglass. The presence of two peak Rank 3 Fae Masters were more than enough to force them to do so.
Arthur turned his head towards Violet Sunglass, not at all caring about the two bodyguards behind her.
Even if they did possess Attribute Control Skills, in terms of variation and strength, Arthur had them beat.
There was no two Fae Masters who had perceived Laws would be wasting on protecting their young miss. The value of such individuals would be even higher than her own worth to some degree.
"Yes? What is it?".
Arthur didn't get up, nor did he make any effort to straighten out his clothes in front of her. Despite the fact that he wanted to form relations with the Violet Clan, he wanted it to be on equals, not with him as a subordinate.
One of the guards stepped forward, hoping to start something, but Violet Sunglass just held up her hand, stopping him where he stood.
The young miss of the Violet Clan just smiled at Arthur, giving him a small bow.
"Mr Kovacs. I was wondering if you would do me the honour of attending my Clan's martial gathering this evening".
Arthur nodded.
"Will Purple Mist and Purple Fog be there as well?".
Violet Sunglass paused when she heard those two names. Her conflicting thoughts caused her to frown for half a second before nodding, not letting up her gentile smile.
"Yes they will both be present. They are some of the strongest geniuses within White Corpse City, and are both beneath the age of thirty. They will naturally be present".
Arthur glanced at Milena and the others, before smiling and nodding.
"We will be present. We will see you later tonight, Miss Violet".
Arthur just waved the girl off, turning back towards the rest of his group. All of them felt a sense of eagerness and bloodlust bubbling up inside of them.
Since they had left the Empty Region and fought those bandits on the edge of the White Dominion Region, they hadn't fought a proper fight since then! Now, after having their horizons broadened and their strengths increased due to the facilities within White Corpse City, they had all be dying to test the own strengths!
