Chapter 289 - White Dominion Sect

All ten Kovacs Clan Fae Masters, including Arthur resumed their journey back towards White Corpse City. They had spent more than half a year on the road, passing through Winter Rain Mountain and the Empty Region adjacent to their home before finally arriving within the White Dominion Sect territory.

Regions dominated by Sects, or regions near Fae Grounds often possessed far better infrastructure and standards of living than isolated regions like the Winter Rain Mountains. Despite the fact that they were passing by a normal country village, it was many times larger than Parachenko Village, and possessed a few Rank 1 and even a couple Rank 2 Fae Masters who had given up the Fae Master lifestyle in order to live a mortal existence.

The roads were all paved, sections even bricked and smoothed to provide a better travelling experience to merchants and passerby Fae Masters. The lush, verdant forests were reminiscent of Winter Rain Mountain, although the average temperature was significantly higher, and the concentration of specific types of spiritual essence were much higher as well.

Milena, who specialized in Corpse Attributed Fae, could feel that the corpse type spiritual essence in the air was much more concentrated then back in Parachenko Village. If she were to set up another Coffin Evolution Ritual again, she would find that her chances of a successful evolution, regardless of whether it was intended or varied, would be increased several fold.

If anyone else in Arthur's group specialised in Thought Attributed Fae, then they might find that the thought type spiritual essence would be higher as well.

With his knowledge and experience, Arthur could already feel the difference in spiritual essence types in the environment around him. Not to mention that Emotion Laws were closely linked with Thought Laws, so he could feel a distinct difference in the emotion type spiritual essence around him.

Sitting at the front of his caravan, Arthur perked his head up, noticing a carriage approaching from behind, feeling the undulations of a powerful Fae Master coming from said carriage.

'Rank 3? No.... the origin essence undulations is much to concentrated for it to be a Rank 3 Fae Master.... This quality level must be emerald origin essence.....'.

A Rank 4 Fae Master!

Arthur noticed the Baron Ranked spirit beasts pulling the large carriage, raising an eyebrow as they caught up to Arthur and the rest.

"Rotting Bone Horses.... A dual Bone-Corpse Attributed spirit beast....".

On a side-note, one that was specially bred by the White Dominion Sect. Rotting Bone Horses were a native species to this particular region, due to the proximity between the Yellow Springs Famous River and the Enlightened Bodhi Famous River.

Under the influence of the White Dominion Sect, they possessed numerous variations of said spirit beasts, most bred for domestic and transportation usage, but no small number bred for war and conflict.

Spirit beasts, and Taming Fae Masters were always needed in any Sect or Clan. Even if it took a century to breed a spirit beast population to a size large enough for actual use, it would still be worth it, so long as the money kept flowing in.

Even if they weren't useful in battle, spirit beasts could still be used for a plethora of different things. Agriculture, transportation, medicine, and even specialised fields like mining or fishing. If there were too many, they could just cull the population and sell the meat, or even just sell them off completely to any trustworthy buyers.

The Rotting Bone Horse driven carriage sped past Arthur and the rest, not even sparring these travelling Fae Masters a single glance as they headed directly towards White Corpse City.

The Rank 4 Fae Master inside felt the presence of a Rank 3 Fae Master passing by him, but didn't think too much of it.

If any caravan was travelling without the presence of a Rank 3 or a Rank 4 Fae Master, their goods either weren't impressive enough, or they had just lost an extraordinary amount of personnel.

Considering the state of the carriages, the former was the most likely option.

In the wide world, a Rank 3 Fae Master just wasn't someone with enough power to influence and entire region. Within the White Dominion Sect, a Rank 3 Fae Master was someone who was qualified to become an Inner Sect disciple. Rank 4 Fae Masters were either Elders, or Core Disciples, and Rank 5 Fae Masters, were individuals worthy of becoming a Sect Leader, or perhaps even a Grand Elder.

If any of their Rank 5 Fae Masters completed Ascension and become Rank 6 Fae Immortals, then they would no longer be considered just a "mortal" Clan or Sect.

They would become an Immortal Clan, or an Immortal Sect. And from then on, their world and their perspectives would change forever.

From what Arthur knew, the White Dominion Sect didn't have a single Fae Immortal....

.... Or at the very least, they didn't have a Fae Immortal in the Azure Envy Continent.

Arthur had requested a means of being transported from the Azure Envy Continent to the Viridian Greed Continent, and normally, a mortal Sect would have absolutely no means by which to use the transmission gates all over Human Heaven.

Not only did that cost an exorbitant amount of origin essence stones, but they also needed a special type of one-time use Fae, depending on what cultivation level an individual possessed.

Break Fae.

Since Arthur was a Rank 3 Fae Master, he would need a Rank 3 Break Fae in order to temporarily "break" the space between two points, creating a transmission gate which could move him from one Continent to the other.

Being able to exert such a force that one could influence space and time all on their own was something even beyond most Fae Immortals. Space Attributed Fae were one option, although were extremely valuable and considered rare by most Fae Masters, and in order to teleport without either Break Fae or Space Attribute Fae, one had to at least be a Rank 7 Fae Immortal.

That was the pinnacle of Arthur's cultivation in his previous life, and he still wasn't strong enough to influence space all on his own.

The seventeen, almost eighteen year old sighed, shaking his head. Nyssa, who was sitting directly behind him, lazing around glanced at him, lifting an eyebrow.

"I'll leave everything to you once I start heading for the Viridian Greed Continent. The Eternal Samsara Tree can give me information regarding the Boundless Forest Yearning and knowledge passed down through each Sovereign Boundary Physique wielder. I'll come back, and meet you guys at the Divine Tannhauser Empire after that".

Nyssa nodded.

"That's fine, but what about those three? How are you going to try and separate yourself and them, from Iryna and Parvan and the rest? You already know this, but they treat the three children as they were their own. It's going to be hard to separate them without causing too much of a scene".

Arthur just smirked slightly, turning his head back and gazing at Nyssa's lazy figure.

"That's where you come in".

The expression on the girls face was ridiculous, and Arthur's grin grew wider as he watched the confused look on his subordinates face.
