Chapter 275 - Scouts

Arthur gazed at the small blood coloured lizard in his hands. His mind wandering back hundreds of years, trying his best to recollect a time when he had seen such a Fae.

"Is it a Blood Seeking Fae? Blood Vision Fae?.... Perhaps something from another Continent. A Blood Rider Fae.... or even something like a Sanguine Fae?".

Arthur narrowed his eyes at the little lizard, shaking his head slightly as it gently licked the palm of his hand.

Even if he didn't know what this Fae was, there was something that would be able to tell him....

"A.I., analyse the Fae in my hand".

"Ding! Name: Blood Mandorla Fae. Rank 3. Attribute: Blood. Bloodline: Crimson Bodhisattva Bloodline . Spirit: Blood Liberation Spirit. Description: A rudimentary version of the Secondary Origin Fae; Sanguine Chakram Halo Fae. Possessing only a single Attribute as well as possessing less than half the power. Creates of blood halo behind the Fae Master, which can be used to attack and defend themselves within a boundary of 150 metres....."

Arthur's eyebrow raised slightly and he nodded, remembering some information regarding this particular Fae.

Within Blood Heaven this Fae was quite valuable given its similarities and relationship to Tranquil Blood Crucifixion Sovereign Boundary Physique. The Tranquil Blood Crucifixion was ranked 13th in terms of overall combat power so it was in the top half by a relatively slim margin, despite its renown and power.

Arthur had seen the Sovereign Boundary Physique in action before, and knew that its powers went beyond just the Blood Attribute.

The Buddhist Attribute was a.... confusing and, to some degree, a poisonous Attribute. Anyone who listened to the Scriptures or Texts would find their minds be corroded by the light of Buddha. Eventually, one would either have to accept the path of Buddhism into their Mind, Body and Soul, or risk having their entire sea of consciousness destroyed by an never-ending sea of Nirvana.

The power of the Buddhist Attribute was strong, that wasn't in question. And those powerhouses who ruled over the numerous Temples and Holy Lands belonging to Buddhism were in of themselves a fearful existence.

Just their presence alone could cause tears within Rank 1 Fae Masters minds. The power of Buddhism would seep in, and slowly convert them from the inside out.

And the worst thing was.... was that in terms of unity, Buddhist Attributed Fae Masters were heads and above the the other powers that transcended just a single Heaven. If at any point they were in danger of being wiped out in one Heaven, they could always send reinforcements from another.

The Blood Mandorla Fae was a pretty good Fae, especially if one could create an Attribute Control Skill around it. Arthur knew of a Buddhist Attributed Fae Master who used this Fae to create half a dozen different Attribute Control Skill, with the Blood Mandorla Fae at the core.

As the A.I said, it could be used for both offensive and defensive battles.

Arthur spent a little bit of time refining the Blood Mandorla Fae, feeding it a little bit of Blood Lotus Petals before tucking it away in his origin essence sea.

Turning his attention back towards the other three Ghost Nurturing Swamps, Arthur let out a sigh of relief knowing that the three remaining experiments weren't affected by the explosion. The blood and bones of Humans could have a negative affect on the class of Ghost that came out in the end....

By the end of the day, Arthur had created two more Wood Yin Spectres, and and a single Wood Bone Sturgeon Spectre. The Wood Bone Sturgeon Spectre possessed a dual Wood-Bone Attribute, and by adjusting the experiment Arthur believed that he could upgrade its quality from Spectre-class to Ghost-class.

He gave the Spectre-class Ghost to Nyssa, considering that she was interested in Bone Attributed Ghosts as well.

"..... Well.... this was quicker than I originally anticipated....".

Arthur gazed down at the half dozen or so corpses laid out in front of him.

None of them were wearing anything to eye-catching, nothing but black and green coloured clothing, but the strongest of them, a peak Rank 2 Fae Master was carrying a special Rank 3 Fae.

Rank 3 Sky Eyes Fae.

It was a Fae that possessed the same shape as a small hummingbird, and its range was one of the best within Rank 3. Using this particular Fae, Fae Masters could scout out a location in front of them. The maximum range of this Sky Eyes Fae was 30 kilometres.

Arthur was currently 25 kilometres away from Parachenko Village.

After he had completely destroyed the Village, Arthur made sure to take care of the numerous bunkers and hidden storage facilities within the range of the Kovacs Clan. It had taken him roughly two entire days, but he had set up a few rudimentary amount of detection type Fae and sound type Fae within a certain distance of the Clan.

Just this morning after spending the night with Iryna, he had seen this Sky Eyes Fae just flying silently towards the Village. Instantly Arthur started following the Fae back to its Fae Master, and then slaughtered everyone present before they could even blink.

Arthur couldn't particularly tell much from what Fae they possessed, although the lowest level of cultivation one of these individuals possessed was a liquid ruby origin essence Fae Master. And entire team of Rank 2 Fae Masters sent to "scout" out Parachenko Village.

Considering that they had come from the North, Arthur immediately suspected the Marina Clan, but without evidence or knowledge it was impossible for Arthur to know for sure.

Previously, when he had killed those two Fae Masters from the Marina Clan, they had come from the South, near the cliff where the Village was built into. Seeing that they had come from the North, Arthur suspected they might be from one of the other Clans, but just sighed and gazed at the environment around him.

"There aren't any tracks closer to the Village for the time being.... but there seem to be tracks heading away from this location.... How annoying....".

Arthur hoped that he could get another couple more months within Parachenko Village before he was forced to leave, but seeing this, he didn't want anyone to know that he was still here. He didn't want to be linked back to any of the events or Fae that happened or appeared within Parachenko Village.

Being immune to heavenly laws was both a boon and a curse, seeing as though he couldn't control it, or turn it back on again.

Arthur wasn't sure either if he could fully destroy the Monster carcase in time either. He had taken as many pieces away as he possibly could, leaving such a thing behind just for anyone to find would be the most idiotic thing imaginable.

Arthur just sighed, shaking his head.

"For the time being, I'll inform the others that scouts from another Village have turned up. Get them all to pack up as much as they can before we head East. I'll have to destroy everything within the Village again, and then set up some more Hatred Imperfection Powder for the next batch of scouts to enjoy....".

Arthur glanced upwards, feeling a strong breeze ruffle the treetops.

Things were going to be changing soon, for better or for worse, that still remained to be seen.
