Arthur paused the moment he opened the door to his house. From his rough estimate, it had been about ten months since he had gotten these two girls pregnant, so him and the rest of his family were expecting just about every day now.
With the assistance of Fae, there hadn't been any complications with the birthing process, and in fact, sped up birth with a little bit of help from some healing-type fae.
Arthur glanced at everyone, including Nadia and Natasha, whom were sitting down in the living area, holding the.... three children in their arms?
Arthur raised an eyebrow.
"Twins?".
Ivan and Ivanka nodded, raising their hands.
"Yep! Two girls and one boy! Just like their Mothers!".
Nadia blushed slightly, cradling the two girls in her arms. If she was being completely honest, a few hours ago she was hoping that she had would give birth to two boys, but the moment she held her two children in her arms, all notions of "would've" and "could've" completely vanished from her mind.
The only thing she wished for right now.... is that her children grow up big and strong, just like their Father....
Arthur blinked a couple of times, trying to remember how to act in situations like these. His mouth hung loosely, as his Father chuckled, causing his Mother to jab her elbow in the side of his abdomen. The experienced Mother pushed Arthur forward, looking at him expectantly.
"Well Arthur? What are you going to name the three of them?".
The thousand year old demon paused slightly opening his mouth slightly before turning towards Niklos. He had been in this situation before, and knew what the correct thing to do was.
"I think that at the very least, Father should be able to name the boy, and Mr Pavel be given the chance to name one of the girls. They may be my children, but they are also their grandchildren....".
Leon and Dominic failed to suppress an amused snort, causing Arthur to glare at them before gesturing for Niklos and Mr Pavel to step forward. The two grandfathers possessed wildly different statuses within the Clan, and yet at this moment, they shared the same blood.
Mr Pavel gestured for Niklos to stand before Natasha, holding the small baby boy in her arms. The extremely burly middle-aged man placed his hand gently on the infants head, patting it as if it were some valuable jade or ceramic, before nodding his head slowly.
"He may not be my direct descendent, but he is still the eldest of my grandchildren. In honour of that, I'll give him my Father's name, Grigori. Grigori Kovacs.....".
Natasha's eyes widened slightly, as did Dominic slightly, but Arthur nodded, appreciating that he had something to go on.
Mr Pavel kneeled down in front of his other daughter, patting the one with faint blue eyes on the head before nodding slightly.
"Before the two of you were born, your Mother and I debated what names were should give. You two are twins of the same sex, so the name must be slightly similar..... I always liked the name Ophelia, considering it was the name of my grandmother....".
Arthur's Mother's eyes lit up, and she nodded slightly before turning towards Arthur.
The seventeen year old felt all the eyes in the room turn towards him, before a memory of a time long since passed flashed through his mind.
A book written by a Foreigner, depicting a famous tale from his old world. He had re-created multiple different works by this specific Author, eventually taking his name and creating works of his own....
"If the younger sister shall be named Ophelia, then the older one will be named.... Titania. If I do that, I can call the younger one Lia and the older one Nia, once they get bigger....".
Arthur's Mother muttered the two names, before nodding slightly at her son's choice and naming sense. They weren't names typically used within Parachenko Village, but so long as the meaning behind them wasn't obscene or ridiculous, it should be alright.
The grandmother gazed down at her three grandchildren, wanting to spoil them rotten from the moment they were born.
'Grigori, Ophelia and Titania.... They are all strong-sounding names, hopefully a symbol of their futures and their destinies....'.
The entirety of Arthur's family stayed at his house until the sun started to set, and after an extremely long and eventful day, Arthur carried the mothers of his children up towards their rooms, laying them down softly as he placed his children down in the mangers beside them.
Even if there was only a few days left.... he needed to keep playing the part. After he left Parachenko Village, there wasn't any need to hide anything anymore.
He glanced at the sleeping forms of his three young children, tapping his chin slightly about what he should do with them.
In his previous life, Arthur didn't have any children until he was a Rank 5 Fae Master. He had married into the family of a large Clan, and had his first child after the age of 150. He still looked like any other twenty-year old at that point, and was considered a possibility for becoming a Fae Immortal.
Raising children was.... something that Arthur didn't particularly care for. Especially for the first few years. They were practically useless up until they were fifteen and even then, time and effort on both his part and their part was needed in order for them to become useful....
He had seen plenty of his descendents become arrogant second generation young masters, only capable of flirting with pretty girls. They were absolute wastrels, capable of being nothing but a breeding horse.
If he had to Arthur would undoubtably kill them right here and now.... but....
"I've had children extremely early in comparison to my previous life. As such certain.... perks could come out of their existence....".
Arthur might need to keep traces of his Bloodline existing in the World for some special purposes down the road. Even if it was just one of them, it would be completely fine....
Arthur poked the soft cheeks of his eldest daughter, causing the little new born to unconscious swat at her Father's hand. The Father of the three children smiled for a moment before tilting his head and nodding slightly.
"Since I know the future, I could place them near the families of certain geniuses in the future. So long as they have even a shred of a connection to them, I might be able to extend my influence and reach even further in the future....".
The thousand year old demon smiled, patting Ophelia's little tummy, causing her to calm down in her sleep.
One near the disgraced genius of an Immortal Sect....
Another near the birth of a powerful Foreigner....
And perhaps the last one.... in the same orphanage as a future Fae Immortal.
All of them within the Azure Envy Continent.
Arthur smirked, gently brushing the small tuft of hair on Grigori's head.
He couldn't guarantee that the future would end up like he hoped. But, so long as just one succeeded, Arthur would have a guaranteed connection to a future powerhouse.
The young man sighed, giving the two girls a kiss on the forehead before leaving the room and heading downstairs to cultivate.
Others might think him a Monster, using his own children to garner more influence and power, but....
"Whether these children of mine gain the attention of these future Fae Immortals is completely and entirely up to them. I'll give my children the greatest advantage that I can possibly give them. If they succeed, then they can reap the benefits of their actions, if they fail, then they can only blame themselves for not being able to see a diamond in the rough....".
