In the Medicine Hall on the other side of the Clan, Arthur's eyes flickered open, as a wave of pain and fatigue washed over him. His right side feeling numb, as a cold, prickling sensation crawled up his arm.
Sitting up, Arthur suppressed a wince as he felt a hot pain emanate from his shoulder. The vast majority of his body was covered in a Rank 1 Fae material, a relatively common type of kelp called Cold Pain Kelp. It was used by quite a number of organizations and Clans, regardless of whether they were Immortal Clans or just normal Sects.
It possessed a slight numbing characteristic, and could be absorbed by all living creatures quite easily. It had plenty of nutrients too, and assisted in the healing process of wounds, after they had been fixed by Fae.
Arthur lifted his arms to try and pull of the layer of Cold Pain Kelp, before narrowing his eyes at his right hand. His expression turning into one of bewilderment as he gazed down at the strange looking appendage with a curious expression on his face.
"What the.... What the hell happened to my arm?".
Arthur gazed at his right arm from halfway down his forearm. Half of his arm had transformed from normal flesh and blood, into a crystalline amalgamation of ice and human physiology. His arm almost appeared like glass, if it wasn't for the slight whiteness of the ice, commonly seen in glaciers and large frozen constructs....
Arthur was about to touch it with his other hand, before he heard another voice resound out within his mind.
"Ding! After coming into contact with the vitreous contained within that unknown creatures eyeball, an enormous amount of what the user has identified as "ice-type spiritual essence" embedded itself in the users right hand. Two droplets was more than enough for the physiology of the user's right arm to transform itself into one made completely out of ice. The similar power that is located within the users Mind Origin Essence Sea has been found within your arm....".
Arthur frowned for a moment before lifting his head.
"Similar power? You mean the Wood Laws?".
"Ding! User is partially correct. The energy known as "Laws" has been found within the transfigured right arm, however what the A.I. is referring to is the existence of a "Sovereign Boundary Physique" within your Origin Essence Sea. A.I. is still calculating, however, the two existences show a 66.66667% similarity rate. Would you like the A.I. to continue extrapolating data?".
Arthur paused for a moment before nodding, shaking his head.
"Continue. What about injuries? Is there anything else that hasn't properly healed yet?".
"Ding! User currently is suffering from slight blood loss, an overexertion of the body, slight fractures from the left side of the clavicle and scapula, internal bleeding from several organs and the presence of "shadow-type spiritual essence" within the body. The last injury currently has no adverse affect on the user, however its presence has caused numerous reactions with the physical world".
"Like what?".
"Ding! Please turn to your left".
Arthur turned his head slightly, tilting it downwards and noticing the large amount of ebony coloured flowers blooming underneath him. He had been placed in his grandfather's garden study, a place where only the Head Elder of the Medicine Hall could enter, which was filled to the brim with healing type spiritual plants and Fae materials.
Arthur noticed the few droplets of blood that had fallen from the wound on his shoulder onto the ground, right in the centre of where all the black coloured flowers had bloomed.
"Rank 1 Fae material, Black Moon Flower.... are you trying to say that my.... blood caused these Fae materials to form?".
"Ding! User is correct. The extremely large amounts of shadow type spiritual essence has resulted in the complete saturation of your physical body. A.I. currently does not understand why this is the case, however has caused no detriment to either your physical health, mental health, mental wellbeing or physiology. As such, the foreign particle has been classified as a non-threatening injury....".
Arthur nodded a few times before standing up, feeling slightly weak in the knees. He didn't have clothes on other than the Cold Pain Kelp, however took out one of his Storage Fae, removing some clothes and pulling the Cold Pain Kelp off, throwing it onto the ground.
Wearing the soft, black coloured robe Arthur stretched his back, feeling more pain come from the wound on his shoulder. He ignored it, and exited his grandfather's garden, entering one of the corridors in the Medicine Hall, immediately meeting eyes with a young Rank 1 female Fae Master.
The young lady, who was obviously someone who was learning the art of healing under Elder Bruge, felt her eyes widen and she ran in the opposite direction, shouting out at the top of her lungs.
"The third young master is awake! Young Master Arthur has awoken!".
Arthur raised an eyebrow, his ears slightly sore, before feeling the faint stubble on the sides of his face. He scratched the bottom of his chin gently, before walking out barefoot towards the entrance of the Medicine Hall.
The seventeen year old just pushed his hair back slightly, heading towards the faint light from the entrance in the distance....
He wasn't surprised, but seeing how many people where just sitting there, a tiny part of him smiled, fully understanding how powerful the concept of friendship and camaraderie was to some people.
Parvan, Iryna, Zlatanna, Milena, Henrik, Dagen, Eric, Nyssa and Helga all sat to one side, their expressions slightly tired, yet their eyes lit up like fireworks in the summertime the moment they all saw Arthur.
Dominic, Leon, Chensa, Ivan, Ivanka and his Mother all sat to the other side, immediately rushing up towards Arthur the exact moment he stepped through into the waiting room.
He didn't try and move, or to avoid the embrace that his blood related family gave him, feeling the pain from his upper left shoulder intensify, as he let out a small groan.
"Hey.... Any harder and my stitches will open up again....".
Dominic and Leon, Dominic especially pulled back at Arthur's words, noticing his younger brother clutch his shoulder, which had gain several red coloured splotches on it as a result of their "tender" embrace.
The twenty four year old man opened his mouth to speak, raising his hands to try and comfort Arthur, but his seventeen year old brother just patted him on the back, smiling gently at his visible concern.
"It's fine Dominic.... I'm perfectly fine....".
Dominic gave Arthur a smile, one that didn't quite reach his eyes as he gazed down towards his transfigured right hand. When Chensa tried to touch it, she reeled back, wincing slightly at how cold the limb was.
Raising said hand, Arthur rotated and clenched it slightly, letting out a small sigh before shaking his head.
"Eh, it's not so bad, considering everything.... I'm just glad I can see you guys again after so long....".
Even the normally stoic Henrik smiled slightly after hearing Arthur's words. But, after registering completely what he had just said, they all paused and gazed at the young man in front of them with strange expressions on their faces.
Leon stepped forward, trying to stop himself from showing a worried expression.
"What do you mean Arthur? You were only in there for an hour or so. You have only been out for just over a day as well. What do you mean by "after so long?"....".
Arthur opened his mouth to speak, before running a hand through his hair, feeling his eyes water slightly. He couldn't of given a better performance even if he tried.
The seventeen(?) year old lifted his head and glanced at all of his friends and family, shaking his head slightly before taking a half-step back.
"I don't know what you guys are talking about.... but I was in that Monster for more than two years. My cultivation has increased dramatically as well".
Arthur released his Rank 2 solid ruby origin essence Fae Master cultivation base. The sheer expressions of shock, and horror on the faces of his Mother and siblings was one thing, but the sympathetic looks he got from Nyssa and the others were priceless.
After getting rid of his Restriction Fae, he needed a cover in order to protect himself from suspicion.
With absolutely no witnesses, there wasn't anyone who could doubt Arthur's claims.
