"Yep. Looks just like another Hatred Fae incident. I suppose it's fairly common on the aftermath of mass deaths, and large conflicts. This young woman had the entirety of her life force drained by the Hatred Fae, which is probably why she died before anyone could help her".
Several Elders, in addition to the Kovacs Clan Leader stood solemnly, gazing down at the corpse of the young woman in front of them. A few of the Rank 3 Fae Masters belonging to the caravan also gathered around the young woman, examining her corpse with curious looks on their faces.
"It must be some sort of variant Fae....".
"I was thinking the same thing".
"But where would you find such a variant of Hatred Fae?".
"A variant Hatred Fae that draws upon the users own life force in order to gain strength. Such a power should only belong to demonic path Fae Masters....".
The woman's corpse was shrivelled up, her body unknowingly curled up, as if trying to resemble a unborn fetus. Her hair was fuzzy, different from her normal relatively combed appearance, and her nails and toenails were elongated, as if trying to resemble a demon.
Her skin was patchy, and her veins much larger and throbbing, despite being deceased. Blood spilled out of her nose, eyes, ears and mouth, giving the dead woman and even more ghastly appearance.
One of the Rank 3 caravan Fae Master's just shook their heads, letting out a small sigh.
"Normally I would be interested in such a Fae, perhaps due to its powerful life-or-death abilities. However, considering it allowed a mortal to fight against a Rank 2 Fae Master, even if it was only for a minute or so, such a thing is definitely much more than just dangerous".
This particular Fae Master glanced at Niklos and Elder Vova.
"After the two beast tides, all manner of variant Fae and unfamiliar Fae should form around Parachenko Village and its nearby territories, so it isn't surprising that Fae unbeknownst to us would form. The Kovacs Clan is a righteous Clan, and has been for the last thousand years. If you do manage to capture one of these variant Hatred Fae, please inform us before anyone else. If a demonic Fae Master finds out about this, only destruction and death would follow".
Niklos nodded, not even giving the young woman a second glance.
The death of a single woman was inconsequential in the scheme of things. If it could perhaps allow the Kovacs Clan to gain greater ties with either the Slavik Clan to the West or the White Dominion Sect to the East, then her death would not be in vain.
Beside him, Elder Vova narrowed his eyes at the deceased corpse, letting out a small sigh before turning away.
He had seen this young woman try out her luck earlier this year during the talent awakening ceremony, and now, just under half a year later, she was dead. If only she had awakened a Fae Master talent back then, she might not have had to experience such a violent and gruesome end.
It was true that just before she died, she physically scarred the face of one of the Rank 2 Fae Masters belonging to the caravan. The wound wasn't that deep, but it certainly shocked the minds of those nearby mortals and Fae Masters.
Elder Vova offered a small prayer for the young woman, before turning towards the caravan members with an apologetic look on his face.
"We apologize for this incident regarding one of our Clan members. To reconcile this matter, the injured is welcome to choose a single Fae from out Clan Reserves. Rank 2 or below".
Elder Vova took out a "list" of all the Fae inside the Clan Reserves. Someone like Arthur might notice that all of the origin essence sea expansion Fae weren't included.
If Elder Vova, or even Niklos was stupid enough to give that type of Fae away for such a small incident, then perhaps the Kovacs Clan would've been destroyed centuries ago.
The Rank 2 Fae Master, clad in bandages in order to emphasize the severity of his wound, nodded and gave a bow to Elder Vova and Niklos. If getting injured a little gave him the chance to pick a Fae for free, then hurry up and break all the bones in my body for crying out loud?!
Watching from the distance, Arthur smiled for a moment before nodding his head. Looking down at the small green powder contained within an equally small vial, the seventeen year old nodded before returning back to his humble abode.
"This is pretty good. I might be able to extort some Villages or small Towns with this Hatred Imperfection Powder".
This was something that would've originally been created a few centuries down the line, but Arthur had decided to put it to use early in order to advance his goals even quicker than before.
Killing the entire Village once he reached Rank 3 was easy, but time-consuming and wasteful of his origin essence. Why do it himself, when he can just get the people he wants to kill, to kill each other? Load them up with poison and drugs and then watch them dance as the flames rise higher and higher into the air.
There were plenty of small events in the future that Arthur had been aware of, and an even greater number that he hadn't been aware of.
One was the Sleipnir. That shouldn't of been discovered until the final year before he left.
Another was the Hatred Imperfection Powder.
If Arthur's knowledge on the timeline was correct, then currently, in the Amber Pride Continent, there should be a problem regarding one of their Abyss Entrances. Just like how the Azure Envy Continent had the 13 Rivers and the 7 Forests, the Amber Pride Continent possessed 7 Abyss Entrances as Fae Grounds.
They were underground worlds that constantly phased in and out of space and time. Entrances could be found all over the Thirty Three Heavens, although in Human Heaven, only the entrances on the Amber Pride Continent were completely stable.
If one entered from anywhere else in Human Heaven, it would be near impossible to find their way back out.
At the second Abyss Entrance, a divine beast would soon emerge. It had been sleeping in a hidden section near the entrance for the past couple thousand years, and would wake up the moment an earthquake struck the entrance.
From there, it would emerge from its poisonous cocoon, and rain down fire and poison all over the Amber Pride Continent. The legends in the Amber Pride Continent called it a Lernean Hydra and it was equivalent to a Rank 7 Fae Immortal.
It was different in nature to the Sleipnir, which was benevolent towards all of creation, and only sought out the death and destruction of anyone who it laid its eyes on. Hydra's were similar to dragons, in that they desired precious metals, rare minerals and spiritual medicines, but always possessed the Poison Attribute.
There existed Poison Dragons, however the poison of a Hydra was much stronger in comparison.
Of course, there were variants and sub-species whom were the exemptions to these rules, but they weren't important right now.
"The thing that is important, is that once it emerges from its poisonous cocoon, it would leave its nest for an extended period of time. During that time, a Rank 1 Fae Master would wander into its nest trying to escape and find its treasures, plundering everything he could before he re-entered the Abyss.
This man later became a Fae Immortal and even possessed the an extremely valuable Poison Attributed Fae. It was only a one-time use Fae, but like the Purple Blood Fruit it granted whomever used it a special Physique".
"Nine Coloured Malignant Poison Physique. It gave a plethora of abilities, including an exemption to all poisons below Rank 6. The entirety of his body, from his blood, to his bones, to his organs to even his saliva were all poisonous, and could be used in tandem with Fae.....".
Obviously such a thing paled in comparison to the collective powers of a Sovereign Boundary Physique, but it did help in creating a Law "image" within an origin essence sea.
It helped one form Poison Laws.
Arthur nodded slightly before letting out a sigh.
The sun was coming up soon, which meant he was one day closer to the destruction of Parachenko Village.
