The Fae that Nyssa used, or the Fae that Arthur gifted her rather, were ones that specially complimented her Origin Fae.
White Devil Fae were rare, and considering that it was her Origin Fae, it was a great Fae to build an arsenal around.
Bone Bow Fae for ranged attacks. Blood Flow Fae to increase the speed of ones blood flow within their bodies. Blood Channelling Fae to move blood from inside of the body, to something that the Fae Master was touching. Blood Vein Fae to create the formless veins within the Bone Bow Fae.
And then finally Blood Arrow Fae, which created a blood arrow.
Such a thing could be done even without all of the other Fae, but considering that the blood came from Nyssa's body, it was obvious that it had taken some of the traits from her White Devil Fae Transformation.
Her blood essence was thicker, and her blood itself was heavy than a normal humans.
Just using Blood Arrow alone before any of the other Fae would make Nyssa lose the trait of the White Devil Fae Transformation. It would create a normal blood arrow, made from human blood.
The attack wasn't particularly powerful, but considering how many times it could be used, especially in rapid succession, it was perfect for Nyssa.
When he gave her these Fae, Arthur could practically see the hearts in her eyes. It had only been a few weeks, and yet her heart belonged to Arthur, and only Arthur.
The Affection Tree Fae helped expedite the process, but the foundations for her feelings had already formed way back then, during the beast tides. He was her knight in shining armour, who came and defeated all the bad guys, saving her life in the process.
Nyssa was just a mortal girl before all this, without any huge dream to become a Fae Master, but with this, she had the chance to get closer to him.
And he absolutely took advantage of that.
Nyssa's eyes moved towards the crowd, looking for Arthur's figure. She had no idea where he was, but she hoped that he was looking at her right now.
As much as she didn't want to admit it, she wanted that first place reward badly. She didn't care so much about the Attribute Control Skill she could get, but, instead she wanted the chance to get closer to Arthur.
The seed of affection within her had already fully taken root.
Some of the boys sitting near her, waved at Nyssa smiling at her with expressions of admiration on their faces.
"That was a really good fight Nyssa! You did really well!".
"I hope that you aren't so heavy handed when you fight us later in the Tournament!".
This beautiful, strong and valiant young woman was the goddess in the hearts of so many young male Fae Masters. All of the boys in her generation had the opportunity to spend the most time with her, while even some of the older male Fae Masters looked at Nyssa appreciatively.
Specifically, one Ratimir Kovacs.
His eyes shined with an unknown light, as the young man's heart started beating quicker and quicker. He felt his chest tighten, and his breathing speed up as he stared at Nyssa down in the participants booth.
Ratimir had never met Nyssa before, although from today onwards, he would make an effort to remedy that!
The other fights during the Tournament bored Arthur, and even most of the other Fae Masters in the crowd.
As expected from having most of the participants being mortal born, the vast majority of them didn't even have a background in martial arts, let alone knowledge of Fae and how to use them.
Most of the mortal born Fae Masters just lounged around all day, feeling superior in comparison to their mortal friends, who didn't awaken a Fae Master talent.
The resulting nonchalant demeanour and lazy temperaments caused Elder Vova to grip his chair tightly, so hard in fact that it crushed the wooden construct.
Many of the other Elders, shook their heads when they saw this.
'Elder Vova is known for his relatively accepting personality. But one thing that he abhors more than anything else, is a waste of talent'.
All of these mortals were granted a chance by the Clan to cultivate and become Fae Masters. And yet, they didn't take any of their studies seriously!
He glanced towards the other two Elders, who both nodded slightly before turning towards Arthur in the back of the crowd. So long as he gave Arthur a Fae or two, he would go along with whatever he had planned.
He was going to show these little slackers just what it meant to be a Fae Master.
The only other matches that Arthur paid any attention to, was the battles that Dagen, Eric, Helga and Henrik all participated in. Collectively, they all weren't as talented as Parvan, Iryna, Zlatanna or Milena, but they were young and easier to mold.
Dagen Kovacs possessed a Blood Vine as his Origin Essence Fae, and chose a Blood Spike Fae under Arthur's guidance.
Eric Kovacs possessed a Moonsword Fae as his Origin Essence Fae, and against Arthur's guidance chose a moonslice fae from the Clan Reserves. He wanted to be just like Arthur, and so chose a Fae that he had previously used.
Helga Kovacs had a rare Tempest Essence Fae, which was a type of origin essence regeneration fae. She had chosen an Wind Ball Fae from the Clan Reserves, which also went against Arthur's suggestion.
Henrik Kovacs on the other hand, Alina's half-uncle had a Mountain Bulwark Fae as his Origin Fae. It was similar to Ratimir's Water Bulwark Fae in that it soaked the area around him in a thick, earth spiritual essence, in the area around him.
It slightly conflicted with Parvan's Earth Attributed specializations, and out of all the four of them, he hoped that he would follow Arthur's suggestions.
Thankfully, he did.
Henrik chose a Metal Spike Fae from the Clan Reserves. As a metal Attributed Fae, it could grow from an environment with thick earth spiritual essence. It was a simple, yet effective method, belonging to the traditional five elements theory, and allowed Henrik to use his normally defensive Mountain Bulwark Fae in order to fuel his metal offensive power.
After that, Arthur gave him another Metal Attribute Offensive Fae, Metal Lance Fae.
Vladya, a Fae Master in Arthur's generation possessed the Ice Attribute Ice Lance Fae, which could create lances out of ice to shoot forward and pierce an opponent.
The metal lance fae did the exact same thing, although possess a stronger piercing power than the ice lance fae did.
Henrik couldn't make full use of the Mountain Bulwark Fae's saturation ability, but for the time being it would do. If he could get something like a Bronze Bulwark Fae, or even a variation fae like a Tempering Bulwark Fae, things would be just fine.
Arthur smiled, and observed the fights with a half-hearted expression on his face.
If anyone saw the way he was frowning, and staring at the fights with a slightly disappointed expression, they would probably think that he was disappointed in their performance.
At least.... that's what he hoped everyone would think.
