Chapter 173 - Omelette

The subsequent days in Parachenko Village were..... quite peaceful, if one was being perfectly honest.

Like every other day, mortals and Fae Masters alike worked in tandem, to rebuild and repopulate the Village. It had only been about two to three months since the beast tides, but quite a number of people had started working diligently towards.... well, sex.

There were currently over a hundred confirmed pregnancies within Parachenko Village, excluding two new additions to the Clan Leaders Residence.

Houses were being rebuilt, homes were being constructed, jobs were being made and the peace within Parachenko Village had returned.

Fae Masters, under the orders of the Elders and the Clan Leader, scouted the nearby areas around the Village, familiarizing themselves with the terrain and memorizing key locations such as places with high spiritual essence, spirit beast dens, hidden food storages and bunkers to retreat to when under attack.

Arthur too, as a Rank 2 Fae Master had spent some of his time memorizing the map that his Father had given him, before throwing it away and burning it. He had already known where and when these hidden locations had been established in his previous life and even knew where in the future extremely dangerous areas would appear.

Speaking of Arthur and houses....

"It looks.... surprisingly good. Quite a bit of green though".

The entirety of Arthur's family, including his grandfather, the Head Elder of the Medicine Hall gazed up towards the large two story building, built over the slow moving stream. It was completely different in terms of style and architecture from all the other houses within Parachenko Village, but the materials and the naturally growing flora that Arthur had placed around made it blend in with the rest of the Village somewhat.

Even some of the others stopped by and gazed at Arthur's house, some nodding in appreciation, while others just shook their heads thinking that it was too different.

Arthur had tried to.... push for some of the other Fae Masters to also possess houses like this, although not all of them were as rich as Arthur was.

Origin essence stones were no longer a problem for the reincarnated demon, although in comparison to his previous life's wealth, it was but a drop in an extremely deep well. The notion of wealth within the Thirty Three Heavens didn't just extend towards origin essence stones, but a plethora of other things as well.

Fae Formula was the most valuable, especially complete Fae Formulas. Fae materials were the next most valuable, especially seeds or precious metals and Source Waters.

Fae were next, followed by some sort of Law Treasure or Intent Treasure. Bloodline Treasures were also quite precious, although the chances of it match ones own was slim, depending on where one resided.

Other than that, foreigner treasures were quite rare as well. They could grow alongside its wielder, to some degree at least so they were considered valuable especially they had been previously used by a Fae Immortal.

Other than that, the most precious thing that Arthur could think of would be-

"Land".

To an Clan, or even an individual, land and territory is probably the most valuable thing throughout the Thirty Three Heavens. It seemed kind of obvious, even from a mortal perspective, but more land was a sign of strength and superiority.

Massive Clans and Sects needed huge swathes of land in order to nurture Fae and Fae materials. Fae materials were how they could form Fae, and research Fae Formula, so even the Myriad Races took great pride in the amount of land that they possessed.

There was something that Arthur wanted in the future that involved an enormous amount of land as well. Although for the time being, that idea was placed on the backburner.

"It's not too bad. It does make great use of the stream though".

Leon nodded slightly looking down at the large amounts of plants that grew around and underneath the house. Arthur had a little hand in the speedy growth of said plants, and the thickness of which only provided and extra layer of foundations for the house to sit on.

There were even a couple of Fae materials grown in their as well.

Arthur nodded.

"It is quite good. I wish it was a little bigger, but....".

He had taken quite a liking to some of the architecture from the Thirty Three Heavens. If one was skilled enough in arrays, inscriptions or formations they would be able to create something that could concentrate spiritual essence into one location.

Perhaps even speed up time, or expand space to some degree....

Arthur let out a small sigh before shaking his head. In front of his family, he had to appear more mature. A young man who had undergone the tragedy of losing his beloved. In the eyes of others, it seemed as though Arthur were much more mature, more steady than young men and women his own age.

Niklos had to admit, that even Leon and Dominic paled in comparison to Arthur's temperament. Dominic was a close second, but even he had yet to experience the same kind of love and loss that Arthur had.

It was quite the.... magnetic quality as well.

Dominic felt a pat on his back and he turned towards Arthur who smiled before winking at him slightly.

"Want to go inside and take a look?".

Dominic couldn't help but smile as he nodded at his brothers words.

The time that Arthur spent with his family would never be forgotten. He might not ever think about them again, but the memories would never vanish.

The experiences with Andrea as well, would never fade, and all the lives that he had taken, and would continue to take would be with him until he reached his goal.

Nothing like carrying the wishes of the deceased towards the apex, or wanted to remember all the people he had killed; the expressions they made, and the tears that they shed.

That was the making of a monster. A mindless creature wearing the skin of a human.

Arthur was a demon. Someone who killed others who got in his way. Mindless slaughter had no meaning, but the death of an entire Heaven may be what exists between Arthur and immortality.

He had already steadied his resolve long ago.

The effects of the his exemption of heavenly laws had stopped, but what had occurred as a result of said exemption had already caused a snowball to turn into an avalanche. In a few weeks, the merchant caravan from the Eastern Sapphire City would arrive and things would progressively continue to go downhill from there.

The butterfly that flapped its wings caused a tornado to appear hundreds of kilometres away.

Once people interacted with Parachenko Village, it was impossible for it to fully stop.

Which is why Arthur had already started creating pawns for him to make use of. People that would do his bidding, and mindlessly through themselves into an inferno in order to put out the fire.

He needed subordinates, followers, slaves, cannon fodder.... whatever word you could think of, Arthur would probably need it.

It was impossible to take on the world alone, even for a reincarnated demon with a Sovereign Boundary Physique.

"If you want to make an omelette, you've got to crack a few eggs".

If Arthur wanted to destroy Parachenko Village and everyone in it..... he needed a few extra hands to speed up the process.
