Chapter 156 - Origin Essence Liquid Pond

Arthur left the Clan Reserves, giving his list to Elder Anatol, who started to prepare the Fae on said list for delivery. There were so many Fae that Arthur either needed to spend a few days within the Clan Reserve refining them all, or wait until after he returned from the Origin Essence Liquid Pond in order to refine them.

He didn't want to put off his reward, especially since it would last ten entire days, so the moment he handed Elder Anatol the list, said Elder guided Arthur towards the rear of the Clan Reserves.

Arthur steadied his breathing, and slowed his heartrate, making sure that he was in his optimum form the moment he stepped through the gates to enter the Origin Essence Liquid Pond.

In his previous life, even though a power or organization with only a single Origin Essence Liquid Pond was nothing in his eyes, but, he had never gotten the chance to use the Origin Essence Liquid Pond back in Parachenko Village.

The Origin Essence Liquid Pond increased origin essence regeneration by several times over, drastically increasing cultivation speed. It also had the bonus of clearing impurities from origin essence seas that float underneath its waters.

With Arthur's 300% origin essence sea, an origin essence regeneration rate that exceeds a first-tier talent, as well as multiple origin essence regeneration fae, Arthur was more than capable of pushing through to Rank 2 within the next few days.

He was already at the peak of solid quartz origin essence, just a day or two worth's of cultivation was needed in order to break through to hadron quartz origin essence.

Elder Anatol looked at Arthur, and nodded slightly, seeing he had already entered a pseudo meditative state.

Arthur was standing, and even walking while doing so, which was even more impressive.

Elder Anatol was one of two people within the Clan who knew how to open the seal around the Origin Essence Liquid Pond. The other being Niklos, the Clan Leader.

Since Niklos was busy with both cultivation and tending to the Clan and the Village, it was normal for Elder Anatol to open it up every year. Even though Arthur was his son, Niklos didn't want to give the impression that he was actively supporting Arthur over other members of the Clan.

It was fine with Dominic, considering he was the next head of the Kovacs Clan, but showing preference to his sons over the Clan wasn't the good markings of a Clan Leader.

Elder Anatol waved his hands several times, removing the various sealing type and runic type Fae that were littered all over the front of the gate. He was the one who placed them, so Elder Anatol was the most familiar with the seals in the Clan.

Arthur opened his eyes slightly and watched Elder Anatol remove one layer of sealing type fae at a time, his eyes never once blinking as he watched with a careful gaze.

The Elder, who was busy focused on removing the seals didn't notice Arthur watching him, and after a few minutes, let out a deep breath as he wiped a bead of sweat of his wrinkly face.

He turned towards Arthur, giving him a small smile before nodding and pushing the ancient gate open with a loud, unbelievably squeaky creak.

A gust, of intense spiritual essence came flowing out of the cave and Elder Anatol gestured for Arthur to enter quickly.

"Go! The more time you waste, the more spiritual essence will leak out!".

Arthur didn't even so much as nod before he took a step inside the cave, moving forward and not at all caring about Elder Anatol closing the gate behind him.

He was fully focused, drawn into the process of cultivation as he quietly walked through the dark cave, refining origin essence even as he slowly approached the light at the end of the hall.

Arthur's eyes flickered open for a moment, and he smiled gently as he removed all his clothes before slowly entering the brightly ruby coloured liquid in front of him. The reddish shine to the water would've made a normal pond seem dirty, or perhaps contaminated with impurities and dirt.

However this Origin Essence Liquid Pond.... was crystalline, and as translucent as a moonlit garden on a cloudless night.

Just tipping his lower legs into the Liquid, Arthur could feel his origin essence regeneration explode rapidly, being restored almost as fast as Arthur could spend it.

His natural origin essence was already high with all of his origin essence regeneration Fae activated, but with the addition of the Origin Essence Liquid Pond, it was like adding wings to a tiger.

The colour of an Origin Essence Liquid Pond determined the effectiveness, and potency of the Source Water.

It it was only a quartz coloured Origin Essence Liquid Pond, it would only be effective for Rank 1 Fae Masters.

Since it was ruby coloured, the Origin Essence Liquid Pond was effective up until the peak of Rank 2. For Rank 3 Fae Masters and above, the concentration of the Source Water wasn't nearly enough to assist them.

The highest ever Ranked Origin Essence Liquid Pond Arthur had ever seen was a brightly blue coloured Origin Essence Pond. Resembling the azure sky on a bright summers day.

That was a Immortal Origin Essence Liquid Pond. Something that was effective up until the realm of Fae Immortal.

As Arthur slowly dipped the entirety of his body into the Source Water, he felt every pore on his body expand and contract as it released impurities from his origin essence sea, and speeding up his cultivation dramatically.

His cultivation was at the peak of solid quartz origin essence, just a sliver away from breaking through to hadron quartz origin essence. Perhaps not even a few hours from-.

Arthur felt his skin boil and his blood flow increase dramatically as his quartz coloured origin essence continuously transformed between all three states of matter. For a second it appeared as though a thick, translucent vapour had appeared in his origin essence sea.

Followed a crystalline liquid, closely resembling the texture and thickness of the Source Water beneath him. Before hardening, and transforming into a substance similar to ice, although completely clear, almost appearing like glass.

Arthur let out a deep breath before letting out some of his Fae to eat on the food he had stored in his clothing. He was allowed to spend ten days in the Origin Essence Liquid Pond, so he had left the vast majority of his Fae in his brothers care, leaving behind only his vital Fae and the Fae he had hidden from others view.

This included most of Andrea's former Fae. The crocodile transformation Fae. Quite a number of Blood Attributed Fae and Bone Attributed Fae, in addition to some of the Fae he had picked up from spirit beast corpses.

Leaving them to wander the cave without too much concern, Arthur took a deep breath and gently dipped his entire body under the water. From the outside, his hair floated aimlessly, and his skin appeared more milky as his origin essence sea rapidly underwent refinement.

It had been.... quite a while since he could just lay within an Origin Essence Liquid Pond and cultivate. He hadn't experienced such a thing in.... at least two hundred years by his previous estimate.

Immortal Origin Essence Liquid Ponds were beyond rare, especially those that weren't controlled already by Immortal Sects and Immortal Clans.

Arthur knew that in the entirety of the Thirty Three Heavens, more than 80% of all Origin Essence Liquid Ponds were under the control of these organizations. The rest belonged to old monsters from the previous generation, or had yet to be discovered by in the modern world.

Arthur's eyes lit up at the thought of some of those Immortal Origin Essence Ponds before grinning slightly and continuing his cultivation.
