Quite a few of the audience members changed their bets, believing that once more Randolf and Arthur would take the top to places.
Most of the mortals bet on Randolf, thinking that it was impossible for a Rank 1 Fae Master to defeat a Rank 2 Fae Master, no matter how talented they were.
On the other hand, a number of Fae Masters changed their bets to Arthur. Unlike mortals, they new the importance of Attribute Control Skills, and even if Arthur's skill wasn't anyway near comparable to Elder Vova's or the Clan Leader's, it was still something extremely difficult to do.
Attribute Control Skills could even close the distance between cultivation Ranks, even if it couldn't increase endurance or duration of the Fae Master during battle.
Arthur's pseudo Attribute Control Skill was called "Waning Silver Moon".
It could barely be considered an Attribute Control Skill, although the number of Fae that needed to be used in said Control Skill was around average in Arthur's opinion.
Moon Piercer Fae.... multiple Woodpecker Fae.... Metal Arms Fae... Halberd Fae.... Connection Fae.... Linking Fae.... Moonlight Fae.... Moon Stalker Fae.... Waning Fae.... Twilight Fae....
The vast majority of them were Moon Attributed Fae, and the rest were just supplementary Fae since Arthur couldn't get the specific Fae that he needed.
It its core he gathered moon essence within his body using Moonlight Fae, and then moved the moon essence along with his origin essence into his halberd fae and legs.
Moon stalker Fae, Waning Fae and Twilight Fae were used to enhance his speed, and Arthur could've used Eclipse Fae to leave behind a false body to fool his opponent, but kept that portion of the Attribute Control Skill hidden for the moment.
Arthur thrust his halberd forward and pierced straight through his opponent, before dismissing the halberd fae and returning back to his hand so that it wouldn't get stuck.
Simply put, it was an extremely fast thrust. A short, intense burst of speed in one direction, that could also be used to attack, and evade.
No defences were necessary, so long as his enemy couldn't hit him.
Arthur ignored the majority of the second round fights, only paying attention to Randolf, Ratimir and Alina.
They were the only interesting competitors, and the changes that he had caused interested him slightly.
His presence had inevitably changed the future of Parachenko Village. Arthur needed to know what things were changed, in order to work around them.
Pushing straight through was always an option, but not quite yet.
He wasn't strong enough to win against a Rank 3 Fae Master, so for the time being he had to quietly work around them.
Randolf's opponent had given up the moment Niklos called the start of the fight. He had seen what had happened to Zoya, and he wasn't so stupid as to believe he could fight against a Rank 2 Fae Master.
Ratimir had fought against a third-tier talent whom specialised in defense, and took a little bit longer than he would've liked to defeat such an opponent. He had ended up using the combination of a waterslice fae and a flameslice fae in order to defeat them.
He had matured his sword techniques by quite a bit, and changed his sword style to two swords instead of a sword and shield combination.
Arthur knew that he had been keeping his defences hidden, trying his best to fool his fellow competitors that he didn't have one, or had completely abandoned one, but unfortunately for him, he was fighting against Arthur.
Arthur looked at Ratimir sit down after his fight before moving his attention back towards Alina.
'In my previous life, I was defeated by Borik in the first fight. Borik eventually had to fight Alina, while Ratimir would fight Randolf in the semi-finals. In the end, Randolf took first place.... Since I took Borik's place, would that mean that I will fight Alina?'.
That did make sense, although Arthur could only wait and see.
Alina arrived on the stage, and narrowed her eyes at her male opponent, waiting for Niklos to swing down his arm.
She didn't even waste a single second, activating her Rank 2 Shadow Tentacle Fae and immediately smashing through his defences, and pushing him out off the stage.
The Rank 2 Shadow Tentacle Fae used quite a bit of origin essence, but since that Alina could defeat her opponents in a single hit, she could use the time between matches to regenerate origin essence.
Those descendents of Elders, with the exception of Borik, due to his defeat to Arthur were all considered top candidates for winning the Tournament.
Borik, in his original world went to the finals against Borik, but lost due to the bad Fae Attributed matchups.
Randolf was first. Borik was second. Ratimir was third and Alina was fourth.
Arthur was close to last, considering he lost against Borik in the first round.
"The fighters for the next match will be.... Arthur and Borris!".
Letting out a small sigh, Arthur stood up and walked towards the stage. He didn't remember this "Borris" fellow and only emotionlessly stared at his opponent, causing them to shiver slightly.
Someone like Borik, or perhaps even Randolf and Ratimir wouldn't shiver so much whenever they looked into Arthur's eyes. They too had now tasted blood, and had both killed before.
Arthur's killing intent was much more dangerous, and much more condensed than either of them, but he didn't have any Fae which could harness his killing intent, so the only thing it could do was intimidate those who didn't have any.
Arthur's killing intent.... could easily cross Ranks. They were all powerful Fae, and unfortunately, Arthur himself didn't know any of the Fae Formula for such Fae.
If he did.... he wouldn't be using Moon Attributed Fae, that was for sure.
He eyed Borris for a moment, trying his best to remember his Fae.
'I think he uses.... Poison Attributed Fae? His Origin Fae was a Poison Nail Fae so maybe his other Fae will also use poison?'.
If Arthur bothered to remember every Fae Master in his thousand years of life, he wouldn't of become a Fae Immortal.
Arthur focused his eyes on Borris' figure before hearing the Clan Leader swing his arm down.
"Begin!".
Arthur activated his halberd fae and moon stalker fae, instantly trying to close the distance between them. Using his Attribute Control Skill against an opponent would be an insult, so he would just finish this quick, without too much trouble.
He noticed Borris' eyes glow slightly and frowned before noticing his appearance change.
The huge, two metre tall figure of Borris had vanished, and all that remained was the figure of a young, beautiful green haired young woman. Her verdant coloured hair and green coloured eyes seem to shine in the sun, and the jacket that she was wearing was the same one that Arthur had given her, after she spent the night in his-.
Arthur didn't even so much as blink, as he flipped his halberd around, and smashed the metal butt of the polearm straight into the face of the young girl.
The image of that beautiful green haired young girl vanished, as Borris clutched at his face, holding his broken nose.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?! Are you fucking heartless or some-".
Borris felt the tip of Arthur's blade under his chin and instantly froze up under Arthur's intense gaze.
The young, immature illusion fae user suppressed a gulp, as he felt a warm liquid crawl down his neck.
All of the crowd went silent, as Arthur's soft toned words entered their ears.
Most of them had never heard such a soft, gentle tone come from this cold, aloof young man.
"If you ever try and use an illusion like that again on me, I'll kill you.... Understand?".
Borris nodded slightly, still cradling his nose.
Arthur didn't even so much as blink, as he flicked his halberd back and let it return back to his origin essence sea. He didn't care about the strange looks he was getting from audience members, or his classmates and family.
Even if Arthur had already accepted Andrea's death.... and even if he knew that her appearance was just an illusion....
Such an attack.... was a little to extreme, right?
