Arthur continued his cultivation in relative peace, not once being interrupted, nor checked up upon by his Father, Mother or elder siblings.
The reconstruction of Parachenko Village was an extremely important task to many of the mortals and Fae Masters that still remained, and was something that was taken extremely seriously by all those who stood to gain from it.
Fae Masters regularly patrolled the areas and territories of the Kovacs Clan, eliminating spirit beasts and clearing out nests to close to the Village, while mortals focused on rebuilding infrastructure and roads so as to regain as sense normality in the Village.
The landscape was still relatively flat, thanks to the effort of some of the Elders and Rank 2 Fae Masters, but the enormous rivers that flowed through the Village had to be taken into account.
Arthur had already handed over a few blueprints regarding foundations and buildings that could be built upon these new rivers, along with a few defensive structures and boats which others will have to learn how to use.
Arthur received another two Rank 2 Fae in exchange for this knowledge, although his Father did wonder just where on earth he obtained such knowledge.
Arthur just waved him off, telling him that if he really wanted to know, he would tell him, but if he didn't want to be burdened with such a thing, then it was best for him to just take the blueprints and use them.
Niklos saw the change in this third son's expression before letting out a sigh and returning back to the Clan Leaders Residence.
His son was becoming colder, even if his intentions were to protect those dear to him. Niklos wasn't particular worried about his son betraying them, or going behind his back, especially after what he had seen just a few days ago.
But if Arthur suppressed all the feeling in his heart, in order to avoid feeling that pain again then....
For the time being there was nothing he could do. Only Arthur's actions could dictate how big the change would be....
Arthur glanced down at the large amount of Fae in front of him before sighing and placing some of them in Fae Boxes.
He had quite a number of Fae, in fact, way too many Fae for just a liquid quartz origin essence Fae Master.
Excluding the Winter Solstice Salamander and the Affection Tree Fae Arthur had:
Moonsword Fae. Bloodseeker Leaf Fae. Water Leaf Fae. Stream Fae. Wood Essence Melon Fae. Flash Fae. Halberd Fae. Moonslice Fae. Woodpecker Fae. Camouflage Fae. Black Smog Fae. Wind Stalker Fae. Thorn Spear Fae. Blood Petal Fae. Vine Fae. Thorn Skin Fae. Mangrove Tree Fae.
Woodland Spike Fae. Overgrowth Fae. Twilight Sword Fae. Lunar Sword Fae. Wood Essence Fae.
Not to mention all the Crocodile Transformation Fae.
With his new origin essence sea, Arthur couldn't just cultivate quicker, and for longer, but he could hold more Fae without having to worry about running out of origin essence.
Once his cultivation increased, Arthur would be able to eventually come into contact with higher level concepts such as Attribute Control Skills and Laws.
During that time the effects of the Boundless Forest Yearning would become more evident, and his development into certain areas of study would improve rapidly.
His eyes glanced to the side, towards the four new Fae Boxes in the corner of the room.
Everyone thought that Arthur's cultivation had reached Rank 2, considering that most of them couldn't see through his cultivation.
This was through the effects of the Boundless Forest Yearning, but having such a thing worked out in his benefit.
These four new Fae, would increase Arthur's capabilities dramatically in the new future.
Even though the Boundless Forest Yearning hadn't completely awakened yet, its Laws were still ingrained into Arthur's Mind origin essence sea. Meaning that Fae that match both the origin essence sea, and the Attribute would receive a boost to strength and power.
As it stood right now, the boost was only about 1.5x stronger than normal. But still, facing someone with the same Fae as him, Arthur's Fae would receive a boost in strength and ability.
"Rank 2 Winter Conifer Fae. Rank 2 Finger Root Fae. Rank 2 Wisteria Fae. And Rank 2 Leafsword Fae".
The Rank 2 Leafsword Fae was a variation of the traditional Sword Fae, just like the Moonslice Fae and its natural evolutions.
The Rank 2 Wisteria Fae and the Winter Conifer Fae were both Wood Attribute defensive type Fae. The Winter Conifer functioned similarly to the Mangrove Tree Fae but couldn't grow water like the Mangrove Tree Fae did.
The Wisteria Fae floated around Arthur's body, like a scarf or some sort of long, flowery ribbon. It could deflect or block attacks that got too close, or lessen the blow from strong blunt strikes.
The Finger Root Fae was.... different.
It was a Wood Attributed Fae, but functioned just like a Transformation Attributed Fae.
It transformed the fingers into roots, which could burrow into the earth and absorb water, or pierce through a mountain in order to see what was inside.
Not only that, but if it was used on another person, they could completely drain the water inside their bodies, leaving nothing but a lifeless, empty husk behind.
It was the core Fae in an Attribute Control Skill that Arthur had learnt in his previous life. He had learnt it while in a Sect, under the guidance of the Prison Hall Elder.
.... One didn't even need to imagine what he of all people needed to use it for.
Arthur sat on his bed, recalling all the Fae in front of him back into his origin essence sea.
His thoughts were moving quickly, as he occasionally shook his head, before nodding shortly after.
'When the Clan gets back on its feet in a couple weeks, the second new Fae Master Tournament will be held. In a month after that, the next talent awakening ceremony will take place and the Clan will slowly start to revitalize its members.
The Sleipnir will directly after that, so I must prepare a worthy offering this time around. I'll have to take care in nurturing some more "seeds" both inside, and outside of the Village, as I also prepare for the Fae that will form as well.
There are three Fae which I must obtain, even if it means killing in order to get it! My presence here might also mean that the heavenly laws might be ignored. If Fae, or variation Fae form that aren't the ones that I'm familiar with then....'.
Arthur bit his bottom lip.
This strange, and unexpected boon of his, mind end up causing him trouble in the long run.
Fae that he knew would form in a specific place, might not if he were to lay there waiting for them. Variations might form, some negative, perhaps positive.
His presence here had already led to quite a number of changes, including the speed of the beast tides, the duration of the beast tides, the casualties and even the survivors of the beast tides.
Such things were out of his control, even if he wanted to be in control of them.
"I need to reach Rank 2 as soon as possible. I can't speed up my origin essence regeneration for the time being, so I need to focus more and more on my cultivation itself".
Arthur let out a sigh.
If he truly wanted to, he would just hide away for a decade and then come out with a Rank 3 or a Rank 4 Fae Master cultivation.
However, if he did such a thing, he would inevitably miss out on quite a number of treasures and Fae that he knew would come about.
Many that he had tried to obtain, but failed in his previous life.
Things would be different, although focusing on too many different things, would distract him from his cultivation.
He shook his head.
Sometimes knowing the future was a curse, rather than a blessing.
