Both the lunar sword fae and the twilight sword fae were variations of the Rank 1 moonsword fae.
Depending on the type of moon that dripped down moonlight onto the Rank 1 moonsword fae, either one would appear, each giving their own specialties during battle.
The lunar sword fae appeared slight yellow in appearance, but still retained its mainly silver colour. Whenever it slashed out, it would leave a faint silver-yellow trail of light wherever it went, and far exceeded the strength and cutting power of the Rank 1 moonsword fae.
Not only was it slightly larger, but the sword itself was flatter, despite the hilt and grip remaining the same. It one were to look at it from a specific angle, it would appear as though the Fae Master was holding nothing but a sword grip.
On the other hand, the twilight sword remained both the same size and thickness, albeit it a completely different colour.
The twilight sword fae was completely purple in colour, so deep that one might mistake it for black, or a night sky. In complete darkness it would blend in the same as a shadowstream fae, and in daylight, left behind a dark coloured purple trail wherever it slashed through.
Both of these Fae exceeded the strength of Arthur's current moonsword fae, but for the time being, Arthur would refrain from refining them and making them his own.
His reasonings?
His origin essence of course!
Arthur placed the two boxes in his underground basement home, dripping a couple drops of moon essence water onto the two fae before closing it up and letting out a sigh.
Having one Rank 2 Fae in his origin essence sea was bad enough, if he had three, not only would it take him days to refine the fae, giving up previous cultivation time, but also the drain on his origin essence sea would be enormous.
Arthur could purchase the Fae materials they need as food, with the revenue he got from Robert's store, but supporting them with origin essence would be a completely different matter altogether.
At the vest least, Arthur would wait until at least zero quartz origin essence before refining another one. He didn't want to harm his foundation, and neither did he want to slow down his cultivation be being too greedy and refining another Rank 2 Fae.
'There would be time for that in the future', he thought.
Closing the door to his room, Arthur sprayed another handful of black coloured dust all over the floor before leaving the tavern completely.
It had been more than half a year since he awakened his origin essence sea, and many things had happened.
Meeting the Sleipnir....
Coming second in the Clan Tournament....
The existence of the Boundless Forest Yearning....
The excursion to Falling Snow Famous River...
Killing Elder Stas....
And now.... the flooding of Winter Rain Mountain had already begun.
Arthur left the confines on the Village once more, and headed towards the new stream where he had planted the blood essence gathering tree.
He needed to feed it again, lest it gets angry and starts withering due to lack of food.
"It has only been roughly a month since the floods began, so things won't be too bad for a while. Next month, reports of large amounts of spirit beasts appearing near the new streams and rivers will start to pop up, alerting the higher ups".
"A scouting party will be launched, and none will return, even after another month of waiting".
"By that stage, Kovacs Clan, as well as the Marina Clan will be attacked by waves upon waves of unrelenting spirit beasts. Countless mortals will die, and a large number of Fae Masters will be killed and eaten by the spirit beasts".
Arthur smirked slightly as he weaved between two large trees.
"During that time, things will get so out of control that the Village will be forced to evacuate and to build barriers and dams wherever the waters flow. Lots of people will go missing, lost in the confusion of the evacuation....".
"They won't notice if two more people go missing, especially during the height of the frenzy".
Arthur arrived in front of the blood essence gathering tree and smiled before taking off almost all his clothes and activating his crocodile transformation fae.
Instead of using the moonsword fae, Arthur used his halberd fae and activated the woodpecker fae along with it.
Jumping into the water, Arthur took a deep breath with the air bubble fae before submerging himself, using his tail to propel him through the water.
Arthur's figure completely vanished under the murky water, only the faint ripples and occasional blooming of red could be seen on the waters surface.
Twenty minutes later, Arthur surfaced, throwing the bodies of several knight Ranked spirit beasts next to the blood essence gathering tree, not even giving them a second glance as he re-entered the water.
Most of these spirit beasts were either sturgeon or some sort of catfish. However, Arthur occasionally lifted up the corpse of a large amphibious frog, and one time he even threw the ten feet long headless corpse of a snake underneath the branches of the blood essence gathering tree.
The variety and variations of the number of living creatures in the water, far exceeded that of the number of creatures on land.
Not only was most of it untouched by the hands of Humans, or even the Myriad Races, it also had room to grow without any unnatural predators.
Even in a small region like Winter Rain Mountain, this type of unbounded growth could still be seen.
Numerous small fruit buds had begun to form on the blood essence gathering tree.
Arthur wouldn't be able to tell what type of Blood Fruits they were, until they were fully grown, but he could tell roughly how much more blood it would take to form another Blood Fruit.
"The Black Scaled Sturgeon Blood Fruit is almost done, as is the Dragon Whisker Catfish. The Blood Scaled Sturgeon isn't done yet, and the Water Dart Frog is coming along nicely too".
Even if all Arthur gained from these Blood Fruits were Strength Blood Fruits, it would still be worth it.
His strength would increase rapidly under the influence of these Blood Fruits, and would allow him to fight a Rank 2 Fae Master with just his physical body.
At least from a physique only perspective, he would be able to fight a Rank 1 Fae Master with the Perpetual Titan Strength Sovereign Boundary Physique.
This Sovereign Boundary Physique boasted the strongest physical strength in the Thirty Three Heavens. They could, with their body alone, and no fae boosting their strength, defeat someone at a higher cultivation than them.
As a Rank 4 Fae Master, they could defeat a Rank 5 Fae Master.
Of course, they couldn't defeat a Rank 6 Fae Immortal as a Rank 5 Fae Master, but they could fight them evenly for several moves.
Out of all of the Thirty Three Sovereign Boundary Physiques, the Perpetual Titan Strength ranked 5th in terms of pure combat potential. It was a force of fury, and unbridled and unrivalled strength across all the Thirty Three Heavens.
Perhaps only the progenitors of this Physique, the Titan Race could rival it in terms of pure strength....
Even the Boundless Forest Yearning would be defeated one on one. Perhaps even the Formless Night Shadow too.
The Overflowing Ocean Depths?
It was ranked 9th in terms of pure combat potential. It was a hard fight, even for a Fae Master, but it might be able to win, if the conditions were right.
Of course, this was all based on Fae Masters fighting.
If it was Fae Immortals that clashed, using their Sovereign Boundary Physique then....
Arthur sighed.
The battle would be anyone's guess.
He himself had never met the possessor of the Perpetual Titan Strength Sovereign Boundary Physique, although he had heard that they did come from the Crimson Wrath Continent.
Arthur shook his head, thrusting his woodpecker fae enhanced halberd fae into the brain of another knight ranked Coiling River Python, instantly killing it.
He let out a small sigh before shaking his head.
That was enough reminiscing for one day.
