Finishing his business Ethan went to check the cliff behind the temple where some well-known herbs are growing there.
''Hmmnn so this is the famous black feather lotus''
The lotuses look like black feathers arranged like a lotus.
Ethan moved to pick the lotuses while stepping on the corpse of a saber wolf which he killed just a moment ago.
''Now should I go back now'' Ethan turned into a shadow and went to travel through the woods.
Arriving at the front of the gate Ethan returns to normal and walks towards the City.
''Ah, miss do you know where the sunshine pub is?''
Ethan asks another citizen it seems looking for a pub is harder than looking for ruins.
Walking for several minutes Ethan arrives in front of a huge pub.
''This should be it'' Ethan walked to the entrance when a huge guy blocked his path.
''Kids aren't allowed here'' The huge guy said while using his body to block Ethan's path.
Ethan looked inside the pub and saw a couple of guys who were the same age as him enjoying their drink with several ladies.
''Then how about them aren't they the same as me?'' Ethan pointed at them while looking at the huge guy.
''Those are the young masters from the famous families here in Tiger City they can pay for every drop they drink'' After saying this he looks at Ethan from head to toe.
Ethan only wears black leather armor and a red scarf accompanied by a salamander on his shoulder, unlike those so-called young masters who wear an expensive robe
''So you just want money why didn't you say so'' Ethan thought and smiled at the huge man.
''You are just an earth-level cultivator and you dare to block my path!'' Ethan heard a shout from the guy beside him who looked like a drunkard.
Ethan ignored him and returned his attention to the huge guy.
''I can pay so please let me in my friends are waiting for me'' Ethan took out a bag of vital coins.
Seeing the bag full of coins the huge guy moved aside and let Ethan enter.
''I'm sorry for my manners'' the huge guy said Ethan only smiled and nodded.
''Hey wait this kid and I are together'' the guy beside him suddenly said.
''Master better not acquainted yourself with this man'' Pyr whispered to his ears.
Ethan looks at the man his eyes are purple and seem bottomless.
Feeling a sudden dizziness Ethan put his vital essence qi in his eyes.

The guy in front of him suddenly coughed a mouthful of blood he looked at Ethan with caution.
''You are good but unfortunately, you met me''Ethan appears right behind the man his dagger already aimed at his neck.
Hum..
Ethan's eyes glow blue he slashes the man's neck killing him instantly after that he looks at the huge guy at the front.
''Clean this up for me'' Then he throws a bag of vital coins.
''That guy's mind control is quite strong'' Pyr whispered to his ears again.
''Yeah if it weren't for the fact that I had these strange eyes I would have been in control'' Ethan kept looking for the thirteenth squad until he found someone to ask.
''Yue you finally arrived have you found anything suitable for you here inside the city'' Shen one of the earth-level members of the thirteen squad said.
''Yes I did find one useful technique'' Ethan sat down on one of the empty chairs.
''Captain and vice-captain are coming later their just finishing some business'' another earth-level soldier said Ethan only nodded and they began to drink.
While drinking they started to talk loudly and cheerfully suddenly a group of people came and it didn't look like they were friendly. The other people who are also drinking at their tables also look at them before leaving their seats.
''Hey we need this table'' the man with an eye patch said.
''Sorry but we already paid for this table'' Shen stood and released his aura.
''Heh, just an Earth level cultivator'' The eye patch man also released his aura which was a sky level cultivator.
Shen couldn't win against a sky-level cultivator's aura and was pushed back luckily his friends supported him.
Both sides released their terrifying aura destroying the tables and windows in the pub.
The huge guy from before went inside the pub and saw the disaster happen he was about to order the guards when Ethan stuffed his mouth with three bags of vital coins.
''That should cover everything right'' Smiling at the huge guy Ethan returned his gaze to the chaos that was about to start.
The moment the bottle he put from the last table dropped to the ground everyone started to beat each other up.
Ethan merely sits on the remaining table looking for a chance to attack then he disappears through the darkness appearing right beside the weakest.
Bang...
Catching off guard the Earth-level cultivator was sent flying coughing a mouthful of blood.
He looked up and saw Ethan coming towards him, standing up the wood used on the crumble table came to him turning into a wooden spear he flicked his fingers and the spear was covered in flames.
''A low-level cultivator like you dare to attack me now prepare to die!''
The wooden spears shot towards him with great speed.
''What's was the first step in wind slaying technique...right feel the wind and become part of it'' Ethan closed his eyes and felt the breeze of the wind he stepped three steps from left and then to the right.
Whoosh!
He dodges all the attacks easily and disappears right on the spot.
His enemy became vigilant and gathered the woods in the surroundings creating a brown armor.
''Now let's see if you can pierce my armor''

''The second step is to guide the wind and use it for your own'' Ethan appears right in front of him and slashes his staff in the gaps of the wooden armor.
Ethan's staff generate a strong wind destroying the wooden armor and making his enemy fly again.
''What the hell...'' the Earth-level enemy was down unconscious.
''One down more to go'' This time Ethan didn't hide he attacked head-on disrupting the attacks of the enemies.
Shen was fighting with the eye patch man he kept getting injured by the enemy's flames and was now at a disadvantage.
''You are no match for me'' The eye patch man gathers a ball of flames and aims it at Shen.
''Hey watch out!''
Ethan shouted then both Shen and the eye patch man looked in the direction of the voice and saw a large ball of energy coming towards them they both jumped to dodge.
While fighting Ethan keeps disrupting the attacks of the enemies making him the main target. The huge energy came from the joint attacks of five earth-level cultivators which Ethan purposely led to the eye patch man.
''Sorry mister but your be staying in that spot'' Having the physical strength of sky-level cultivator Ethan had enough strength to attack an unprepared enemy.
Bang..
His staff turn into a wind pillar and he smashes it towards the eye patch man sending flying towards the huge energy ball.
Boom!
A huge hole appears on the wall of the pub the huge guy looks at the scene with a grimace.
''Now don't look like that'' Ethan throws another bag of vital coins to him.
Seeing their leader half conscious the remaining enemy went to the injured ones saying that they surrender.
''You'll pay for this I'm Iago from the Scarlett Fang guild!'' the eye patch said while being supported by his friends.
''Ming Shen thirteen squad of Merchant Union'' shouting Shen also announced his origin while releasing his aura.
Silence came after it their enemies who were so brave a while ago became lamps in front of them they apologized saying they didn't mean it.
Shen only snorted and told everyone to go to another pub.
The huge guy guarding the entrance now gives them total respect they went to another pub and continued their laughter.
''Let's all go back then'' Shen suggested to them.
They all looked at each other and then nodded their heads in agreement. While walking another trouble seemed to approach them.
Men hidden behind the alley came and began to surround them all brandishing the weapons their holding.
''Another chaos is befalling us'' Ethan whispered to himself but his words were heard by the others except the troublemakers who surround them.
''That boy he's the one who killed my father!'' a boy pointed Ethan among his friends.
Hearing it all the men focused their attention on him while his friends encircle Ethan to protect him.
''They are after you?'' Shen asked Ethan.
''Yes it seems so....let me take care of it'' Ethan moved forward and looked at the boy who pointed him.
''And you are?'' he asked while looking at the boy who looked just the same age as him.
The boy wanted to speak but the guy beside him stopped him.
Ethan shifted his gaze at him looking vigilant he scanned the man and thought ''Sky level quite strong''
''The man you slit his throat a moment ago is his father'' the brute guy said to Ethan.
''Then you're here for revenge?'' Ethan asked Pyr then looked at the guy with a burning gaze.
But the man didn't answer then he signalled the guys beside him to attack.
''Shen please let me take care of this'' he told him while he put Pyr on his shoulder then he disappeared.
Wind blew strong and a small tornado came and engulfed the enemy leaving the boy and the man who seemed to be the leader. Ethan then appears in front of them aiming at his staff which is engulfed with wind.
Whoosh
Ethan and the brute guy fought, being not too good at his staff and with his lower realm, against his enemy, he was now at a disadvantage.
''He can't win'' one of the soldiers whispered to Shen but strangely his distracted.
''Shen?'' he repeated then Shen looked at him and asked ''Do you know how Yue can keep the tornado working while he is fighting that guy'' Hearing it the soldier suddenly realized it as well then the deeds that Ethan did flashed at his mind and thought ''Can he actually win?.....why do have the feeling he can win?''
Bang!
His thoughts were stopped when he heard an explosion Ethan was then sent flying.
Shen and the others were about to get involved but Ethan shouted at them not to jump in.
Ethan tried to stand up but the man was fast his fist already aimed at him. Ethan couldn't put his guard up and was hit fortunately the body he has is stronger than his enemy.
The wind swirled in his staff he waved it and a small tornado came at the man pushing him backwards Ethan took this opportunity and appeared right behind him which he didn't expect.
Bang!
The enemy could clearly feel his skin being grind by the swirling blades of the wind. Of course, Ethan didn't lose this opportunity and he repeatedly teleported to continuously attack his enemy.
''Not yet!'' the man grinded his teeth and invoked his flames engulfing his body this made Ethan halt his attacks.
Thinking that he had stopped his enemy he gathered his fire to attack but apparently, Ethan only stopped attacking because he felt that his chaotic flame suddenly activating.
''I had to finish this fast'' Looking at the giant flame that dashing towards him he raised his staff and felt the wind around him.
''Watch out!'' Shen and the others move aside as the flames come to them apparently Ethan manages to dodge it shocking his enemy.
A highly compress air gathered at the tip of staff and he appeared right in front of his enemy shoving it to his body.
The guy hit the wall behind him almost destroying it Ethan was about to end everything when the boy from before blocked his path.
Looking at these eyes Ethan remembered his past when he cried at his father's dying body and could do nothing about it.
Bang!
The highly compressed wind in his staff hit the ground instead. He merely looked at the boy and flicked his staff.
Whoosh
The tornado that held his enemies a moment ago vanished as the bodies fell to the ground.
He looked at the boy's determined eyes and slowly gave him a dagger he then kneeled before the boy which shocked everyone.
''If you want revenge do it'' he said although he didn't know why he was doing this but he felt like he needed to.
The boy took the dagger and held it tightly then he raised it with two hands. Shen and the others were about to intervene but the guys who were unconscious a moment ago because of Ethan's attack blocked their path.
Ethan closed his eyes awaiting for the dagger to stab him but it didn't come the boy lowered the dagger and instead asked
''Tell me why did you kill my father?''
''He tried to control my mind but I resisted and I killed him after it'' Ethan answered without any emotion.
The boy sighed and lifted the dagger again making Shen and his friends ignite in anger they hurriedly tried to beat every enemy who blocked them.
''My father may have been the most evil person but he is still my father'' he said as he lifted the dagger again.
Clang!
The dagger drops to the ground which gives another surprise to everyone.
''But if I kill you.... then I'll be no different from my father and you'' he then turns his back on Ethan and assists the man to stand up.
''Why didn't you do it'' he asked.
''A sin won't be forgiven with another sin'' he said which made the others stop their fight.
''Everyone let's all go home'' he turned and said to everyone.
''Yue are you okay'' When all of their enemies were gone Shen came close and asked him.
''Shen do you think my way of doing things is wrong'' he asked instead.
He assisted Ethan to stand when he had stabilised himself he put Pyr on his shoulder and answered him.
''What you did might be right or wrong from how someone looks at it from a different perspective but no matter what I trust you'' he said.
''Do you think the situation might turn different if I took another approach'' he asked again.
Shen looked at Ethan seeing him act like his age for the first time he couldn't help but stroke his head.
''What happened in the past is something we can't change but all we can do is learn from the experience we get from it'' he said while looking at the frustrated Ethan.
''Your right...I just have to learn from this'' he smiled and said.
''Now let's wash away the negativity and go and eat there'' one of the soldiers drags Ethan and Shen towards a beautiful pavilion.
Seeing Ethan feeling down all of them decided to tag along.
