Pounding heart and exhausting breathing ten deity level cultivators and fifteen demi gods all up against a single beast. The domain barrier created by the ten deities was nearing its end they wouldn't be able to hold the enemy for too long and all of them would be heavily exhausted.
"what on earth is that thing" one of the deities looks at the enemy which seems to be fine from all the attacks it received.
"I don't think we could defeat this thing we can't even dream of scratching it"

Heaven and earth begin to tremble the essence qi begins to shift as the beast and deities steel themselves for another round of fighting.

"Move!.... everyone moves we can't stay here any longer!" Aid arrived and immediately assisted them everyone wanted to survive the upcoming tragedy that was brewing to be unleashed.
"Can you move sir?....we have to leave immediately" Ethan asked it was the middle-aged looking alchemist before that warned him about the night demon fang herb.
"Young man can you pick the necklace that was pinned down by that rock.....it is my mother's present" Ethan followed his fingers and located the necklace that almost got swallowed by the earth.
"Here you go, sir....."

Everyone covered their ears from the overbearing noise thankfully a very strong barrier protected them from the strong shockwaves brought by it.
"This barrier is!?" Ethan looked at the figure hovering mid-air it was none other than his master Haze Magnus.

A few weeks before the current incident at the underground library.
"This is not good the eight clans are all making their move and Ethan was seriously injured!" Kai slammed the table shattering it to pieces he was enraged to see the son of his teacher covered in blood almost looking dead.
"Calm down Kai we won't be able to do anything if you use your anger instead of your head" Winter said while patting Kai's shoulders making him loosen up a bit.
"How bad is it?" calmly sipping his tea Haze asks.
"His meridians are messed up, his bones and muscles are all wrecked every part of his body is not in good shape" Kai was calmer but he was still angry due to the incident.
"There are moving quite fast .....it seems like they are gathering the old remnants of their strength....we might need to mobilize our plan immediately" Asher butt in the conversation while reading all the materials they need for their expedition.
"Then why don't we use this opportunity to cut their hopes of powering up" one of the generals brought by Asher said. The king of the wind continent glances at his subordinate and then signals him to speak.
"I suggest we use this opportunity to distract our enemy and while their focus is on those relics we initiate the previous plan catching them off guard"
The group was silent for a moment because Haze showed them the report from the merchant union the list shows that a couple of the Union's items have some connection to different clans from the eight clans.
"These items were found by excavators from different places of Fior I already contacted the Merchant Union to put these items on hold secretly" Haze calmly said then he out another document for them to see.
"My puppets reported to me that they have started to take action, trying to secretly retrieve their relics but currently the information they have is limited since I have completely blocked them"
"You have already planned out everything didn't you?..... starting from the first incident to the current situation you have expected things to end up this way" Kai looked at Haze suspiciously all this information was already prepared for so long starting and when something arises he doesn't flinch and knew what the situation behind the scenes.
"Did you think I would let my student wander alone in this dangerous world without any sort of protection" Haze seemed more serious now he looked as if he was ready to kill someone.
"I almost lost that boy once so this time I'll be more careful, especially letting him meet with strangers and new people....I shall never let him suffer the same way he did before"
"So everything has been planned out for the boy?" Asher asks trying to ease up Haze who could kill any cultivator with just his deadly aura.
"Not all of them some unexpected things happen he meets people I have never expected he would and now he seems to be growing more .....I am delighted because of it"
Winter and the others breathed a sigh of relief although they were all deity-level cultivators with high spec of strength he couldn't help but hold his breath with such pressure.
"By mean unexpected does that include the events at the train" (Asher)
"That was truly unexpected I didn't know some of them would sneakily go and even ride a train"(Haze)
"Those fools what could be their objective"(Kai)
"I've brought news about that"Kun calmly appears with the group of beautiful witches all of whom have the grace and beauty of a goddess.
"How were the kids? All of them are safe right?"
Haze asked immediately he was worried since he's puppets were destroyed yet he couldn't go personally since he was busy completing the plan to subjugate the eight clans thus he only sent Winter and Kai.
"All of them are safe no need to worry and there is nothing to be worried about their injuries wouldn't cause problems in their cultivation" (Kun)
Winter, Kai and Haze all breathed a sigh of relief the three were on the edge restraining themselves from attacking the enemy.
"So back to what I was about to say...." Kun clapped his hands to gather their attention then he sat down on one of the chairs with Haze and Asher after he settled he started to talk.
"May I ask if any of you knew the last station of the armored train?" he started immediately they understood what was happening.
"The last destination is The port city of Helen which is famous for being close to one of the most dangerous places on fire continent....The stone island" Kai grimly said
"The stone island is just a facade what they want is what's under it .....one of the eight demon palace ....the first palace the Death Forest" Winter held his forehead if the kids wasn't able to stop the advance of the three deities what they have retrieved would be safely return to whatever clan is inside there.
"Which clan is inside the Death Forest right now?" Asher asked he fiercely looked at the map and made sure to look closely at Stone Island.
"One of the most notorious clans from the eight exile clans the Vāpn clan" Kun answers Asher's question with a grim expression he knows it won't be that easy to deal with them.
"The clan that is famous for their strong weapons and unique weapon mastery yet they got killed by a couple of nirvana and earth-level cultivators" Kai was a bit sceptical since they were defeated by a bunch of kids he doesn't take them seriously.
"And all for a single rock" Winter looked at the chest that Kun had placed there a luminous stone rest.
"Never underestimate them out of all the eight clans they have the most number of Deity level cultivators and the weakest among them are only Demigod level" Kun advised seeing Kai being too naive when it comes to sizing enemies.
"They have so many deities to spare that they gave themselves this type of mission instead of giving to another cultivator" he added while holding up the stone that quietly rested inside the chest.
"I've brought this stone here to have all of you listen to what it can do.....my lady if you may" the elder of the Seven Petal Valley respectfully gave way to the leader of the white witches.
Beautiful, graceful and very tempting although her face is being well hidden by her hood it wasn't able to conceal her overwhelming charisma anyone could fall for just by staring at her.
"The stone contains a very massive energy it has been kept quietly by a powerful seal it doesn't leak even a speak of energy"
Kai and Winter all look at the luminous stone which is currently being held by the beautiful witch of the white witches.
"Um....can the two of you back off a little..." she bashfully said feeling overwhelmed by the sudden close distance between her and the two famous Deities of Fior.
"Apologies we are just curious about this stone"
"I sincerely apologize to you my lady we're backing off"
Kai and Winter glance at each other before standing beside the stack of documents behind Haze and Asher.
"Continue lady of the white witches...I am sorry for the disturbance of my two cute Deities they won't be a bother again" Haze smiled while saying but Winter and Kai felt a sudden chill from their spine.
"I told you not to approach her!" Kai whispered while secretly hitting Winter using his left hand.
"I was just curious about her appearance and you sound so protective of her so I want to bother her a bit" He remains cold as ever Winter uses his right hand to swiftly block his friend's attack.
Back at the table, Haze sighed while holding his teacup it seemed like even though they aged and grew in strength their minds remained like kids.
The white witch of the north cleared her throat before speaking again.
"The stone was being injected by a continuous surge of energy for countless years, I suspect it was the work of another clan, not the Vāpn clans but the witches of the east also known as the Enchantress clan. The seal that was used is very familiar to ours also the power that the stone holds is unimaginable it is extremely dangerous to unleash thus we suggest that you let us double the seal that's been currently active on the stone" she ended the conversation while waiting for their answer.
"Tell me which you have known the main objective of the Vāpn clan don't you?" Asher said while holding his chin using his right hand no emotion seemed to appear on his face.
Kun and the witches all look at each other seeming to be debating about what should be done Kun finally spoke while scratching the back of his head.
"I am sorry for not telling everyone immediately....you see the information we had about them was limited when we finally realized what was happening it was too late the incident already happened"
"Elder Kun please explain it carefully so we can understand it completely" Kai calmly spoke his expression is as vacant as Winter's.
"The first information we had about the southern witches is that they have been sending more and more spies all across the fire continent at first we had suspected it was because of the relics but it turns out they have another objective"
"They used the relics as a camouflage to secretly hide the fact they have contacted the Vāpn clan and this is what they gave them" Kun held the stone he clenched his fist remembering the fact that young cultivators almost died trying to stop the people they should have.
"The Vāpn clan plans to use this stone to complete a weapon strong enough to annihilate the entire Fire continent"
Haze, Winter and Kai all look murderous they seem to want to kill every man they meet.
"So tell me elder of Seven Petal Valley why would the Enchantress clan help the Vāpn clan?" Asher still has the same vacant expression he had it didn't change even a single bit.
"According to the ones we have captured it seems that the Väpn clan created a staff capable of enhancing the strength and spells of any cultivator and witch who had them"
"So in exchange for this stone the Vāpn clan created an artifact comparable to the ones they received from the Enchantress clan all in the hopes of creating a weapon of destruction" Asher folded his fingers while he began to think.
"The staff where is it?" Haze who was silent for a while now finally speaks.
Kun fell silent and shook his head the witches of the North all bowed down to apologize as well.
"Settle down everyone although we have failed in finding the staff at least we still have the stone that holds an unimaginable power and if we could get the blueprint for the weapon then we could use this against whatever the staff can do" Asher clapped his hand while appearing to be the same cheerful youth he has always shown.
"We need to change our plans a bit it seems like the enemy will be trickier than we had anticipated"
"I agree with Winter it seems like we can't take them all at once we should wither them away one by one" Kai and Winter were very wary of the situation the enemies were more powerful than they had predicted.
"My information seems to be lacking I thought I had planned everything to think they keep themselves well hidden" Haze tapped his fingers on the table and silently took a deep breath.
"We will change our plan but we will first wait for old man Chen and the reinforcements that he will bring for now we must strengthen the defence of each and every city in our territory" he added then while everyone began to give orders to their subordinates Cald appear with other cultivators from water continent.
"We had news!...enemy spotted heading towards the Central city of alchemist....witches from the exile clans release a monstrosity...which exceeds the strength of a normal deity level....we... couldn't stop it...." Cald hurriedly said while trying to catch his breath but before he could even speak again almost all of his subordinates already fell on the ground.
"Cald!" Winter assists his comrade to stand he's limbs are burned and most of the meridians are broken.
"Take them away and let them heal Winter if you could ask him to give us a detailed description of the beast" Haze commanded while Kun and the rest of the members of the seven petal valley took the injured ones to heal.
"Winter it.....was a Fenrir....it was ....fen...." Cald said again with his impatient tune while clenching the collar of Winter's robe then he finally lost consciousness.
"A Fenrir.....this might be a bit complicated" Asher walks towards his generals giving them a brief order.
