"Louis have you seen Sylvia lately? She went to a
Friends house but should be back by now," I question concerned that the fact my daughter had not shown up at the house yet. "I'm sure she's out having fun with her friends, you know teenagers and all, always getting into stuff they are," he sighs. "But this isn't like Sylvia Louis! I've called her numerous times, and not one answer or text or anything," I cry in distress. "She fine, you're always so worried over Sylvia, ever since Maya," the second he said it I could tell he regretted it he pursed his lips tightly in a thin narrow line. My bottom lip trembles I wail loudly "what if whatever happened to Maya happened to Sylvia," the tears flowed down my face, the image of Maya repeating over and over in my head. I fell to my knees to weak to get back up. "You don't care," I gasp. "You know that's not true!" He stand up from the couch. Suddenly all the strength coming back to me I stand up and stride over to him I slap him hotly across the face.
"You never cared and never will!" I screech. I pound out the door "I'm going to
Find our daughter this time since last time I failed as I mother and while you sit here not caring at all what happens to me or her. When I come back," I pause and add "with our daughter, I do not want to
see your face in this house do you understand?" Without waiting for an answer I storm out the door leaving Louis standing there like a deer in headlights.
