Six days had passed, since the ominous man brought new of Destruction. As winter was beginning to set on Celestia, the Kingdom was covered in thick patches of snow. The King had given Mira, and I a top secret mission.( The two of you will be traveling to the resting place of the strongest knight, to ever walk the Kingdom of Celestia. This place also serves as a trial, when Gallamore was nearing the end of his day's on this earth, he had this place built as a trial for those who have true valor. It is said that those succeed in his trial, will be granted more power than they could ever imagine. Sadly none have ever passed his trial, all who have tried failed, never to return to Celestia again. Over time this restingbplace was given a name, the Knights Tomb. Altough I beleive the two of you may just have what it takes. Please show this old man his thoughts are not wrong. This mission will take place in five days, so prepare yourselves, and please do not fail Me.) Ever since this mission was assigned to Us, I haven't been able to stop thinking about what the King said. Could Gallamore really have been that strong, and could I really be the one who could overcome his trial. All I can do is give it My all, and hope that we succeed in this mission. There were to noble steeds that had been given to us, as to ensure that we could make it there as quick as possible. Although after waiting some time for Mira to Show up, I began to worry. This really wasn't like her at all, as I was about to start looking for her, She finally appeared out of the distance. ( My apologies, I was up late getting ready, and overslept as it seems. So lets get going shall we, it appears were already late.) We mounted up to set off, as we left I knew this very well might be the last time I saw Celestia. The speed of the horses truly was of noble blood, we were moving at greater speeds than I even knew possible. We had reached a town that was about, a seven hour ride away from the tomb. So we thought it best to stop at an inn for the night. This had not been something of which we thought might happen, as Mira had not brought any money with her. The problem was I only had enough for one room, so I thought it best to give it to Mira. She resisted at the thought of taking it, but I insisted that she take it.( Listen to me, and I don't want you to argue with me Artemis. I, I, want you to share the room with me. Not only are you paying for the room, but I feel as though I owe you that much. Just say yes, this shouldn't be that big of a problem.) I stood frozen, not in fear, but with some new kind of feeling emerging within me. So I accepted her wishes and agreed. The room wasn't very big, as even the bed was barely big enough for one person. We layed in silence for quite some time, until she turned to look me directly in the eyes. She put her arms around me getting closer, with a saddened look in her eyes.( Hey I've been thinking, do you really think we can pvercome this trial. Remember that if we fail there is no coming back this time, we'll be wiped from existence it's self. I just don't wanna see that happen to you, and plus Im not ready to die yet. Just promise me you won't die on me, My heart can't take that kind of strain.) She was quite after that just staring, I promise that will never happen. She finally fell asleep, although I was troubled by the thought of loosing her to. As the darkness swallowed me, I finally fell asleep in the void of darkness. Morning had come with the sun shining over is. I was awake at last, although I didn't notice that Mira was practically on top of me. So I tapped her on the shoulder, she awoke looking me in the face. She jumped back, only to end up falling off the bed. I reached down to give her my hand, and she grabbed it. I want you to know that whatever happens, Mira Im gonna protect you till the end. So as long as Im here lean on me if you need to, put your trust in Me and we'll never fail.( Alright Artemis I will, bow let's go make a name for ourselves.) We set off once again without any idea of what was awaiting us. After hours of riding through fog, We had finally made it yo the Knights Tomb. It was incredible, as tall as the eye could see with pillars of marble. As we approached the door I had noticed a sign, and it read.( the trial of strength and wisdom, are for those who our true knights. To enter you must first pass the trial of strength.) There was a button right next to it, so after much thought I decided to push the button. It was quite with no reaction, or so I had thought. Thats when the floor opened up from under us. We had fallen into a small spot of water. As Mira was falling deeper in the water, I grabbed her hand to pull her up. After drying off for a minute, We decided to keep moving forward. We were blocked by a gate, the bars we made of iron. Then all of a sudden they stated to move up on there own, I had never seen anything like this before. As we walked through I could feel a huge source of energy. Thats when a voice spoke to us.( Only one may take the trial, the power can only be given to one. Make your decision wisely, and present me with the chosen one.) Leave this to Me ok, I will be the one to overcome this trial. There is no argument to be had, and I wont budge on this. ( Artemis you'd better not leave me all alone, I'll never forgive you if you die.) I prepared Myself for the battle that awaited, knowing it very well be My last. I will be the one to challenge you.( Very well, let the trial begin.) The room was enveloped in darkness l, and suddenly I couldn't see Mira anymore. Thats when I saw my enemy, but I couldn't believe it to be true. The enemy that I was facing was Myself. This had to be some kind of trick, but I really don't think it is. What I do know is, if I can't overcome Myself in this battle. I will never have any hope of defeating Oros. I drew my sword ready to fight, and came charging at the enemy. The attack was returned with a block by his sword. I pulled back to gain some distance, and figure out his weak point. Running circles around him, I came in for a speeding slash, but in return it was once again blocked. The battle went on for quite some time like this, until I had almost no stamina left anymore. It was like everything I did was pointless, every strike was blocked. Until that bright lite showed itself again.( My child, it appears that it is time for you to accept a small portion of my power. This will be enough power, for you to be able to use a slash called will removal. As long as you beleive and have a purpose of protecting something, this strike will grow. Remember this strike is only as strong as your will is. Now go My child, and show me your resolve.) Suddenly I didn't feel exhausted anymore, but one thing was clear to me now. I have to win this battle, there's still someone I have to protect. As long as I can lift this sword, I will never loose to anyone. My sword suddenly exploded with a shining white light, this must have been the power that Ezra was speaking of. My body was flowing with power, I ran in flying straight towards my enemy. Sending my sword piercing right through his skin, just like a javelin. Maybe I should give it the name of, shining javelin. The enemy had collapsed, and I was victorious. The darkness faded from the room, and I was once again able to see Mira. She came running towards Me.( Artemis are you ok, I was so worried when you suddenly dissapeared, thank the God's your ok.) Its alright, the battle is over for now, and I won. Thats when the voice appeared again.( Well done challenger, you have done well to overcome this trial. But do not let your guard down just yet, for an even worse fate awaits you in the next trial. I bid you farewell, and good luck.) The gate on the other side of the arena had opened, and it was time for the final trial to begin.
