as a cat/human hybrid in a world of pure humans, I'm always being petted and stroked. people don't realise that what they are doing, feels really demeaning. it feels like I'm being made into an animal. it makes matters worse that I work in a little cafe. I get told I'm cute a lot and the word now infuriates me. however, there is one person I have found that doesn't anger me when she calls me cute. rather, she makes my heart skip a beat. and I can't figure out why.
