Hachi's POV:
I felt Fatty shift against me, giving a small huff as he rolled onto his back in my lap while I looked at my spell book. He eyed it over then puffed smoke at me like wanted attention bad. I frowned and looked down at him before sitting my spell book aside. "What boy?" I asked him and rubbed his head. "You want to go outside and play with me there? We could go down the trail again- the one Oz made that's safe for us to walk down together." He perked up then started to purr loudly before he wrapped his long body around my torso, putting his head on my shoulder as his claws dug into my shirt but not my skin. I nodded in agreement with him and eyed over the spell book before eyeing him over. "Here, put this away and I'll get my shoes on," I told him and got off the couch in my bedroom and walked over to my closet, taking it slow so he had time to do as I asked. He leapt to the book then scooped it up into his jaws then dove under my bed with it, cackling. I laughed and looked under the bed quickly to look at the hole that went into my mattress that I made for stashing my books... but I think he's using it more for his jewel stash while I'm not looking... He glanced at the hole in thought then ran towards the far wall and dropped my book with a pleased look before he went back to the hole then went up into it, coming out with a gold chain around his neck then came towards me with an excited look.
"Hey! That's supposed to be for my books, not your jewels!" I told him and straightened up. I placed my hands on my hips quickly. "I can't believe you're stashing treasure under where we sleep. Hoarder!" I shouted at him before going into my closet. I eyed over the shoes a little in distaste before shaking my head. No- I don't want to wear any of those... They always hurt my feet. I'd much rather feel the earth under my feet. I walked back out quickly and scooped him up. "Let's get going. That trail takes a few hours to walk." He purred loudly then spat out a few gems onto the ground as I carried him towards the door.
"I hope you don't have more in there," I told him and shook my head. "You're going to rot your teeth out and then I'll have to fix them." He looked at me innocently then slowly spat out a diamond. "Fatty," I hissed out in a warning tone. I shook my head and smirked a little. "We should do some practicing today together. I just learned a few spells that could be fun to cast together on a plant or two." He purred loudly then nuzzled his head under my chin before he started to shake in my hands and made a gagging noise, spitting out a silver chain quickly. "Fatty!" I hissed out. "WHAT'RE YOU DOING EATING THOSE THINGS!? I'LL TAKE YOU BACK TO THE DRAGON REALM AND MAKE THEM TEACH YOU DRAGONS DON'T EAT-"
"Eat what?" I heard Oz ask in slight amusement as he appeared by me. "Where are you two going? I didn't know you was awake.... Want something to eat?"
"N-no, I'm going to walk the trail with Fatty. He's going on a diet- starting today. He's hacking up treasure."
"Oh~ Be safe then," he told me and rubbed my cheek before pulling me into a hug. "I'll make you something anyways that'll be waiting for you when you come home." Fatty hissed a little in my arms then got onto my shoulders quickly, growling at Oz before he laid his head on top of mine quickly. I heard him growl lowly again before he started to nuzzle against my hair. "Don't growl at me," Oz warned him. "I can get rid of you if I want to," he hissed out. "Replace you so quickly too. One that looks just like you. Hachi won't even know the difference."
"Don't talk to him like that," I said quickly and yanked away. "Come on Fatty, let's go before he does take you from me." I continued walking away from him quickly. "You know better than to growl at him," I whispered to Fatty. "He's our master." He whined a little then moved his head up under my chin, curling up on my shoulders quickly like he didn't want to be taken. He nuzzled against my neck before he slowly started to purr. I hummed a little and walked out into the forest near Oz's cave home. I eyed over the hidden trail before getting on it and started to walk down it as soon as I slipped through the entrance. I felt Fatty start to move on my shoulders, shifting to look around protectively as he made small noises at the trees around us then stopped suddenly, getting quiet. I heard a small nicker a few feet away in the brush off the path, making Fatty shrink against me quickly. I continued down the trail and patted his head to calm him. "That wasn't a predator, silly." He whined and looked at me then looked back at the brush nervously as I heard hoofbeats amongst the leaves. I rubbed his head then and got under his neck. His eyes shut quickly as he went limp and purred loudly, melting against me as he tilted his head to let me get at it. I heard another soft nicker before I was suddenly hit with a very different magical presence than Fatty's.... One that just... felt more innocent... more... majestic. I widened my eyes and slowly shoved Fatty off my shoulder as I looked around quickly in awe. Fatty squeaked as he hit the ground then looked up at me with wide eyes, calling up at me quickly as he raced for my feet worriedly. I started towards the direction I felt the presence coming from before he could get me. He made a chirping noise at me and whined, chasing my heels as he got noisier with every step I took. I heard a startled nicker in the direction of the presence before the hoofbeats started to move quicker- away from me. I frowned and eyed the noise over. Oh- Wait... Did I just go off the trail?! I panicked and looked around to see I had stepped away from the trail. Where'd it go- no.... I came from this direction so it's there... Not too far away. The hoofbeats slowed down a few feet away from me before I heard another soft nicker then a snort before a whinny. Horse! I gave a huge smile and started back in the direction of the noise. I'll keep straight... If he or she curves, then I'll have to stop following. I caught a glimpse of snow colored white amongst the greenery after a few steps, the sight making me almost pause in awe at the brilliance of the color. I gasped a little and slowly took a few more steps to sneak a glance in. I saw the horse toss its white mane before it lifted its head up, chewing on a leaf as it cast a glance around then locked eyes with me, staring straight into my soul. It froze then snorted, lowering its head as it pawed at the earth beneath its feet. That's when the light caught it- the horn on its head, making it shimmer. I gasped and felt my knees buckle as they hit the ground. I FOUND A UNICORN! I FOUND A UNICORN! "F-Fatty, it's a unicorn," I whispered. He whined as he dove into my lap quickly, looking up at me then bit at my shirt, trying to tug me in the opposite direction of the unicorn as it slowly lowered its head to get another leaf off a low tree. I eyed it over before tossing Fatty off to the side and eyed the unicorn over in awe. This is my lucky day! I found a unicorn. Fatty yelped as he hit the ground then hissed at me loudly before he puffed smoke at me then started to run off from me. I frowned and looked at Fatty quickly. "Where are you going?" I asked him. He paused and stopped, giving me a jealous look as he growled. "Come here," I giggled out and started for him. "Jealous." He made a small noise and lowered his head as he watched me then got excited, running for my arms. I giggled and placed him on my shoulder.
"What were we doing?" I asked him. "I've got my once in a lifetime opportunity of seeing a unicorn. Let's get back to us." He looked me over then glanced at the unicorn then looked at me, nuzzling his head against me before he purred then jumped down from my shoulders, starting for the unicorn. The unicorn nickered quickly, looking towards Fatty before it shook its mane in amusement and walked towards him. I giggled and followed him quickly. "F-Fatty." He glanced at me and chirped before he stopped right in front of the unicorn and looked up at it. I saw the unicorn sniff him before it whinnied in delight and bounced his head then looked towards me then tensed. It gave me an uncertain look and backed up slightly but stopped when Fatty chirped at him. I tilted my head a little before reaching out my hand to pet the unicorn as I walked up to it slowly. Its eyes got wide and he whinnied nervously, starting to back away but stopped when Fatty chirped again, its eyes shooting at Fatty before it looked back at me. I frowned and lowered my hand quickly. "Sorry," I blushed lightly. "I won't touch you." He slowly walked up then sniffed at me before he snorted then glimmered before he was suddenly a gorgeous man wrapped in a blue kimono with long white hair braided over his shoulder. His icy blue eyes glanced me over before he frowned. I eyed him over before gasping and widened my eyes. "O-oh! You have a human form. H-Hi, I'm Hachi," I told him before backing up quickly. I MUST LOOK LIKE A WEIRDO! WALKING UP AND TRYING TO TOUCH HIM! He giggled suddenly and gave me an innocent look.
"I know your name," he told me then watched me in amusement. "I'm Celeste~ You're quite cute for someone so impure."
"I-Impure?" I asked him and frowned a little before blushing. "Oh..." I blushed as my mind raced back to the butler Damon. "They told me it was wrong what he done to me," I mumbled. He looked me over then giggled, coming towards me quickly.
"I'll cleanse you~" He told me and then pulled me towards him before he playfully pushed me onto the ground, getting over me. He gripped my hands then smiled hugely. "You're too innocent to be impure~" I eyed him over before giggling a little.
"Wait- how are you going to cleanse me?" I asked softly. "You better not plan on taking my clothes off. He said he was warming me up..." He widened his eyes in horror and let my hands go like they were hot irons.
"No! Never! That's impure!" He told me quickly and went to get off me quickly with a frightened look.
"Would it ever be pure?" I asked softly.
"No!"
"R-really?" I asked softly and frowned a little. It felt so good though to be so impure.... I frowned a little before shaking my head. That's a little rude to say it's impure!
"Of course, it is. Mating is impure. It dirties the soul," Celeste told me as he looked me over then blushed. "We unicorns don't like the impure. We only take the pure ones. Their innocence... is much more pleasing to us."
"O-oh.... You probably don't want to be near me then..." I trailed off and blushed. He grinned then.
"I'll cleanse you though~ Then you'll be my wizard!" He giggled and looked me over before he transformed back suddenly and leaned his big head down, grazing his horn against my chest. He nickered then pawed at the earth by me before he stabbed me quickly, shoving his horn deep into my chest. I gasped and let out a scream as I grabbed his horn but felt my heart pound frantically before my vision started to darken.
"O-Oz!" I yelled out quickly and started to cry. W- why- I'm so young! I could hear Fatty growling nearby as Celeste pulled his horn out then laid by me, flicking his white tail as he nuzzled his head against my body. B-Bastard! I'm going to die! I clung at my chest and tried to stop the blood from pouring out. I felt my body getting cold as the darkness called out my name. Celeste's horned glowed a little before I felt the bleeding stop, my chest beginning to heal up as he nickered softly. I felt his magical presence linger with mine before it connected suddenly, and I could feel his soul- his beautiful pure soul calling out to mine. He was mine. I felt tears run down my cheek as I rubbed at the healing wound. Monster! I sniffled as I eyed him over. "Why'd you do that?" I asked softly. He snorted then laid his head on the ground, closing his eyes like he was about to take a nap on me. I eyed him over before I felt my body growing tired with him. No- wait why!? No! I blinked a few times and whined. I'm not going to sleep. I felt Fatty crawling up my body before he let out a roar towards Celeste, making him whinny before he got to his feet and started to run away from Fatty's roars. I eyed over Celeste and then rubbed Fatty's head quickly. Serves him right! Fatty started to purr then looked me over before he nuzzled his hard scales against my hand then licked my cheek. He snatched the beaded necklace that was on me off then gave me a worried look before he started to run off, leaving me. THAT JERK! HE'S TAKING MY BEADS AND LEAVING ME! I gasped and eyed him over. What is this!? Fend for yourself day! I tried to sit up then to go after my beads. Fatty dropped them then roared at me before he picked them back up and ran to the trail, running in the direction of Oz's place. Did he just roar at me! That's my home too! I puffed out my cheeks quickly.
After a few minutes, I could hear Fatty running back with another set of feet hot on his trail. He dove into the brush then was by me in seconds, spitting the beads onto my chest as he looked behind him quickly and chirped. I watched as Oz ran up with a worried look before he eyed me over. "What happened?" He asked me and walked up quickly before he shoved Fatty away and moved my hand aside- eyeing over the dry blood left. "Well?" He asked. Fatty whined at Oz and then got on the other side of me, getting between my arm and my body as he hunkered down against me, looking at me worriedly. He glanced around then looked up at Oz as he took my necklace off my chest and held it between his jaws. I frowned and snatched it from him.
"You're not eating this too," I told him before looking at Oz. "T-there was a man," I told him softly. His jaw clenched tightly before his eyes scanned around us. I grabbed his shirt before he could leave me. "There was a unicorn and he turned into a man. He called me impure and then he turned back into a unicorn and stabbed me in the chest.... but then it healed over," I told him softly.
"Unicorns?" He asked me softly and frowned. "There's no such thing as unicorns."
"Yes, there are! I met one just now."
"Nonsense."
"I did to! He was white and beautiful."
"You do smell strange."
"EXACTLY!" I gasped out softly. "He was real, Oz. He called me impure and then stabbed me."
"Come on, let's get you back inside." He picked me up quickly and kissed the top of my head. "You can tell me more after I give you something to eat." I frowned a little.
"You still sound like you don't believe it," I whispered.
"Even if there was a unicorn it wouldn't turn into a man. Maybe you met a shape shifter." He patted my head then as he started to carry me back. "Why didn't you call for me?"
"I DID!" I gasped out.
"You did? Oh... Sorry, I didn't hear you." Fatty growled a little as he followed at Oz's feet, puffing smoke at him with a frustrated look then ran ahead.
"Fatty was with me, he saw him," I whispered softly.
"Fatty doesn't talk though, but he probably would if you gave him a decent name," Oz growled out playfully to me.
"I couldn't think of anything better."
"You could have named him Fire or Sparky."
"Those aren't real names."
"Real names? You want to talk about real names? Who calls their pets Fatty!?"
"Not you," I giggled out.
"I could," he said and then smirked. "But I don't have a fat pet. I'll have to call you Skinny." Fatty started to cackle a few feet ahead of us as he heard it and looked back in amusement.
"What? Don't call me Skinny.... We-well at least I'm not Fatty..." I mumbled.
"I won't call you either of those names because I have more respect for you than to just call you some slimy name like that." He rubbed my head before looking down at Fatty.
"Well I did ask for help naming him," I warned.
"You should give him the proper name so that way your bond will stay strong with him."
"Nope.... I'm not good at names. I might call him bowl." I heard Fatty growl a little before he crawled up Oz's leg then jumped onto my chest and rested there, giving me a weird look before he looked up at Oz. Oz leaned in and sniffed my hair before growling a little in distaste.
"That's not good," he whispered to himself. Fatty looked between the two of us before he hacked up a piece of paper from a bedtime story, I had Oz read me last night- the page with the unicorn on it.
"FATTY!" I growled out. "I'm not changing your name you big FAT PIG!" I gave him a small disgusted look and knocked the page off me. He whined as he looked at me then shrunk against my chest. He glanced towards the page as it fell to the ground and slowly lowered his head with a disappointed look. "You should be looking in trouble," I hissed at him. "Stop eating things that's not food!" He slowly nodded his head then came up my chest a bit before he laid his head down on me and whined, his big pretty eyes looking up into mine innocently. He tensed suddenly and hunkered down onto me with a snarl, his eyes darting past me as I felt Celeste's presence nearing like he was coming to look for me. The sound of his faint nicker reached me, making my magic swirl up inside me in excitement as his presence stirred it up. I felt Oz tense up before he dropped me on the ground and pulled out a knife from his pocket.
"You're not taking my wizard!" He yelled in the direction Celeste's noises was coming from. Celeste snorted and came trotting out from the bushes anyways, walking up to me bravely then pawed at the earth. He looked down at me in delight and nuzzled his head against my body before he laid down and whinnied happily. Fatty growled a little and glared at him. Oz's jaw clenched as he watched Celeste before moving in to stab him. I widened my eyes and threw myself between them quickly- yelping as Oz stabbed me in the chest. "Hachi!" He gasped out and yanked out the knife. "WHY'D YOU DO THAT!" Celeste nickered quickly and got up, going for Oz and knocked him to the ground before he came over to me and looked me over before his horn started to glow and I felt the pain go away as it healed. He relaxed then playfully nudged me, lowering his head to do so then suddenly pulled back as he changed back to his human form and giggled. He scooped me up and spun around with me.
"Hachi~ I'm so happy you're my wizard~" He hugged me tightly then giggled again. "Want something special? I could give you something so rare, you'll never want to let it out of your sight~"
"R-rare?" I asked softly before eyeing him over. "But you're rare- isn't that enough?" He grinned and sat me down.
"This would be a playmate for you- something that can stay with you when I'm away," he told me then ruffled my hair. "Want it? You'll love it to pieces~"
"U-uhmmm." I trailed off and eyed him over. "But I want you." I grabbed his hands quickly. "Stay with me forever?" His eyes widened before he blushed.
"O-of course~" He scooped me up quickly then and giggled. "You sure you don't want a kitty too?"
"A kitty too?" I asked quickly and giggled before I nodded. "I want a kitty." He smiled broadly then sat me back down on my feet before he closed his eyes in concentration, holding out his arms as his eyebrows furrowed. A small white light began to glow between his hands then started to expand into the shape of a human before it got too bright for me to see. I suddenly heard a small purr then a jingle of a bell as I had to blink from the remainders of the blinding white light on my vision that was only now starting to clear up. Celeste giggled and before I knew it, my vision cleared up.
A small boy about my size and age was curled up in his arms, licking the back of his hand like it was a paw. His hair was a gorgeous white- just a little bit shaggy with his bangs going down to his eyes. A light purple streak ran through the middle part of his bangs then swept off to his right, accenting his unique eyes. I could see the one under the purple streak was a gorgeous shimmery rainbow- the little colorful disk in his eyes sectioned off and blended perfectly into the varying beautiful shades that stole my breath away and created a rainbow. His other eye... was a gorgeous blue that reminded me of the pattern of an agate. His eyelashes were white like his hair, but his catlike ears were different- a reddish brown color with a dappled effect of black and darker brown making his furry ears gorgeous. I could see a matching tail swinging under him- fluffy and soft looking. He was in a red cloak with black and gold trimming on it, tied up where the hood meets the rest of the fabric up on his chest. A simple black kimono was under it, covering up his small body. I spotted a black velvet collar on his neck, a small gold bell on it jingling with each move he made, a matching gold tag accompanying it with the name Dax written on it. I could faintly see my address engraved on the other side as he shifted in Celeste's arms to run his hand against his ear as his bare feet kicked a little.
"You named him for me?" I asked softly and gave a huge smile. "Thank you... I'm terrible at names," I whispered and eyed over Dax in awe. He's very eye catching... His hair looks like snow.... Why is he so pretty? How come I'm not that pretty? What.... this is so unfair.... Celeste giggled and gently sat Dax down on his feet, watching as Dax yelped and stumbled a little. He whined and looked at the ground as he laid his ears back then looked towards Celeste longingly but paused. His eyes shot to me before he suddenly smiled hugely, making my heart skip a beat, and he rushed for me, making his bell jingle as he crashed into my arms and hugged me. I blushed as I fell back against the ground.
"That's my wizard," I heard Oz grumbling.
"I thought he'd like a kitty~" Celeste said sweetly then started to bounce off as he went towards a tree and looked at the leaves curiously. Dax giggled on top of me and kissed my cheek as his tail flicked.
"Hachi," he purred out, trying my name out on his tongue. His voice was like pure silk~! I giggled in delight before rubbing one of his ears to see what he would do. He gasped and melted on top of me, purring louder as his tail began to flick. I felt him nuzzle his head against me affectionately, closing his eyes in pure joy. Celeste giggled and looked back at us.
"You'll have to take good care of Dax~ He's only slightly magical like us. He won't be able to do much on his own, but he'll make a great pet and playmate for you," he told me sweetly. "He's going to be very affectionate towards you because he knows that he belongs to you already. You won't have to teach him to obey you."
"He won't eat random things too, right?" I asked.
"No, he's not going to eat anything that's not healthy for him," Celeste said and giggled. "He'll like fish and milk." Fatty whined as he shrunk against my side, probably hearing me making shots at him.
"That's good, I have those things since I have Fatty," I told him.
"Wonderful~ Make sure no one takes him though, okay?" Celeste asked and gave me a serious look then giggled before he bounced off. "I'm going to go check on the squirrels~ I'll see you soon Hachi!" Dax sat up and watched Celeste go with wide eyes, laying his ears back against his head quickly with a disappointed look.
"T-the squirrels are more important than me?" I asked softly and frowned.
"Let him go," Oz said quickly. "We don't need him."
"I HEARD THAT~ AND I'M NOT GOING FAR~ I'LL ALWAYS BE RIGHT OUTSIDE WHEREVER MY SWEET HACHI IS~!" Celeste giggled quickly in happiness then started to sing as he wandered off. I watched him and frowned a little. He's not going to stay closer to me? I like him being close to me.... He's got that- that special feeling he brings whenever he's around.
"Don't go," I begged softly. I heard Celeste's footsteps hurrying back before he giggled as he jumped back out of the brush then ran up to me, kneeling beside me with a happy smile.
"Okay~" I giggled and crawled into his arms quickly- shoving pretty kitty cat to the side. Dax gasped and then looked towards me before he blushed and got to his feet quickly. He flicked his tail then looked at Celeste before he ran up and wrapped his arms around Celeste's neck.
"Let's get you home," Celeste whispered to me then stood up slowly as he cradled me in his arms then reached a hand down as he shifted me to take Dax's hand in his and started to walk us up the trail with a happy smile. I could hear Fatty squeal as he chased after us to keep up.
"H-Hey," Oz said as he started after us. "You're not allowed in my home, Mr. Horn Head! I don't know who you think you are, but I'm not fooled. You stay away from my Hachi, got it?" Celeste looked back at him innocently then frowned.
"I'm Celeste, a unicorn- one of the purest beings in the world, but you wouldn't know about pureness, impure one."
"Purity! Let me tell you about purity... You don't know what heaven is until you're making love with a woman in a feather bed. The feathers fly with your movements and tickle your sensitive spots. That's purity at its finest! I bet you know all about it~! Don't try to fool my wizard. He even knows what a body with another body is all about." He exposed his fangs then. "Not like I wanted him to know just yet."
"Oh, I purified him already and let him mark me with his magic, so I'd be his magical being," Celeste said sweetly. "Not everyone can stay pure though. It's the sacrifice of the older ones in the other species, but we unicorns want no part in it- most of us anyways."
"He didn't understand anything you did, did he?" Oz hissed out. "YOU'RE IN TROUBLE WITH ME! IF you think you're going to be in his life then you've got to be under my thumb too."
"No, I don't~" Celeste giggled out. "He understands~ I'm his magical pet~ I'll always be there for him when he's in trouble and when he needs my help to cast bigger spells and to guide him in a journey of learning magic for eternity~ That's the special thing about having a unicorn as your magical being. He's going to be immortal~"
"Really?" Oz asked in amusement before frowning a little. "He will grow up right?"
"Nope~ Isn't it wonderful? He'll always be young and pure," Celeste said happily and looked down at me in joy.
"WHAT?!" Oz asked and looked upset. "Are you kidding me?! NO! I WANT HIM TO GROW UP A BIT MORE!" He stomped his foot down into the ground then. "I DON'T WANT HIM YOUNG FOREVER!"
"Well that's how it works," Celeste said then laughed, picking up Dax into his other arm and put him on his shoulder. Dax giggled innocently then looked at us happily before he looked towards Oz curiously then reached for him. I frowned a little then. Wait.... I'm not going to die?
"I can't die?" I whispered. "I can't grow up and become old?" I tilted my head then.
"No~ you get eternity with me and you'll never die if someone tries to kill you," he told me and chuckled. "You'll get to learn all sorts of spells and do whatever you want~"
"W-what?" I asked softly and frowned. "B-but I'm a terrible person and you just gave me an eternal life?"
"You're not terrible," Oz said quickly. "Don't say that again about yourself."
"I purified you of your sins," Celeste told me and giggled. "You're just a soul that had hardships~ I know you are innocent deep down. I can sense it." Dax giggled and kicked his legs a little as he looked from me to Oz and tilted his head with a huge smile.
"I- I... I'm.... I...." I trailed off and shook my head quickly. "NO! You can't give me eternity!"
"I already did," he told me and grinned. "When I stabbed you."
"N-no," I said quickly. "Take it back," I begged.
"I can't~ You're going to be immortal just like me," he said happily and kissed my forehead. "I've been so lonely~ It'll be nice to have a companion to play with- one that will understand me." I sniffled as I eyed him over.
"I'm not worthy," I whispered.
"You're worthy to me," he told me and held me close. I heard Dax giggle sweetly before he reached down for my hand and grabbed it, nuzzling his cheek against it. "You're a powerful wizard.... I know what you've done. I can smell it all over you, but I forgive you for it.... It's made you stronger... and it wasn't your fault. It was your father's fault." I sniffled and felt tears rush down my cheeks.
"You forgive me?" I asked softly and rubbed at the tears.
"Of course," he said sweetly. "You're my wizard, my master. Your kind created all supernatural beings~ including us."
"T-thank you," I whispered softly and looked away. "No one ever told me they forgive me."
"That's because most people are impure," he whispered to me as we got off the trail an into the clearing with the house. He sat me down and smiled hugely as he let Dax down from off his shoulders. "Dax, take really good care of your master, understand?" Dax looked up at him cutely and giggled, nodding.
"Yes Celeste," he said sweetly and flicked his ears before he looked towards me. "Hachi!" He ran up to me and grabbed one of my hands quickly, giving it a squeeze. I felt Fatty tackle my foot then, giving a dominant growl towards Dax. I eyed over Dax before looking back at Celeste.
"You're not going to leave me- right?" I asked softly.
"No~" He said and then giggled as he bounced past me for the house. Dax giggled and watched him then let go of my hand, licking the back of his hand again- I noticed his tongue was rough like a cat's, the same texture on his tongue as it scraped against his hand. I eyed him over before giggling and ran after Celeste. He's staying!
"Oh no you don't- outside!" Oz yelled as he stood in the doorway. Celeste frowned then darted under Oz's arms to get inside and giggled. I heard Dax purring as he ran after us, making his bell collar jingle. He stopped in front of Oz then hugged Oz's leg with a playful meow, flicking his ears as he looked up at him innocently.
"Oh boy.... well.... welcome," Oz grumbled as he stepped aside. "I'll tell my sister we've got to get more food..." Dax purred and nuzzled against him before he went inside and gasped in delight. I heard his footsteps running around inside as he started to explore before the sound of beads hitting the floor like he knocked over one of Oz's bowls. Fatty perked his head up then ran inside quickly to inspect. I giggled and went in and up to the day room where the daybeds were with the beads that hung from the ceilings. I eyed over my favorite daybed and laid down on it- glancing over at Oz's sister, spotting that she was sleeping. Dax came in after a few seconds and looked around before he ran up towards Oz's sister and sniffed at the bed before he purred and started to crawl over to her with a curious look. I frowned a little as I watched. He's going to wake her up...
"Dax," I called out. He paused and looked towards me, flicking his tail behind him before he moved away from her and came over to me with a sweet look. He crawled in beside me then wrapped his arms around me, snuggling up to my side then huffed slightly.
"Hachi~" He murmured sweetly and laid his head on my chest as he curled his tail up to him. "I love you." I felt him trace his fingers along my chest before his ears snapped up quickly like he heard something. He sat up slowly and looked towards Zehara's daybed before he gave a mischievous grin and jumped up, rushing for it and then went under. I heard a small squeak under there before he came out the other side with a dead mouse dangling by its tail from his teeth. He dropped it and looked down at it proudly before he flicked his tail and then picked it back up and walked towards the window with it. He threw it out then licked his bloody lips clean and giggled. I wrinkled up my nose in disgust as I watched him. Ewww. he touched a mouse with his mouth...
"Don't kiss me with those lips," I warned him. He looked at me and giggled before he ran over to me and crawled into my arms, wrapping his around me then wrapped his legs around me as he flicked his tail.
"Hachi, play with me," he purred out and nuzzled his head against my chest. "Pwease?"
"O-okay, you want to play with some magic?" I asked curiously. He nodded and looked up into my eyes before he kissed my cheek.
"Uh huh, I wanna play with you," he said sweetly and laid his ears back as he gave me a cute look. "I'll play anything you want to play~"
"I want to play with some magic then," I told him before glancing around then got up and started off in the direction my room was that Oz gave me to perform magic in. I keep my spell books inside it. He chased after me quickly and grabbed onto the back of my shirt, holding it as he followed me closely. He purred sweetly and looked around the house in wonder as we walked through it to my room then ran past me once we were inside. He glanced around then went over to a couch, laying down on his stomach on it as he kicked his legs over his head and looked towards me curiously.
"Are you powerful?" He asked me and rubbed his chin up against the couch.
"I guess," I mumbled as I walked up to the shelf of my spell books. "What kind of spell do you want?" I asked. "Longer fur?" I asked curiously.
"L-longer fur?" He asked and blushed, glancing back at his furry tail then up at me as he sunk down onto the couch lower. "N-no... I like my fur the length it is.... Could you teach me to read though?" He asked innocently, looking towards the books.
"Only wizards can read wizard books," I told him and then pulled a book off the shelf. "Spell books are ancient. passed down through generations. They're as magical as their owners and call out to them when they're near. This spell book has been around since the first of the wizards. The ones that made other supernatural. There are some spells in here containing creation spells. You have to be powerful enough to cast it and have help by other casters as powerful as you... otherwise the spell will consume your life." His eyes widened then.
"O-oh... magic is that dangerous?" He asked me and then blushed. "I didn't know.... Hachi, was I created like the other supernatural?" He sat up and glanced the books over. "I know Celeste had something to do with it...."
"Celeste is very powerful and created you," I told him and gave a huge smile. "That's amazing isn't it? We're all created by something." He blushed and nodded before he got up and came over to me.
"Who created you?" He asked me and then grabbed my hand, giving it a squeeze. "Did Celeste create you too?"
"No," I told him softly. "I had a family once. Parents... a mom and dad."
"What're parents?" He asked me and then moved closer to me, wrapping his arms around me. "Are they like you and Celeste?" He tilted his head then before he purred and leaned his face into my neck, resting his head on my shoulder. "If they are, then they must've been wonderful~" I heard him giggle then before he knocked us onto the ground with him on top.
"No, my parents were terrible... At least my dad was. My mom left us though with him... So, she's as bad as him...." I trailed off as I eyed him over. "It's terrible when I think about it that she left her kids with her husband who was a bad influence. I'm the way I am now because of him." He frowned and pulled back from my neck, looking down at me.
"What'd he do to you?" He asked me and bit his bottom lip. "Did he beat you? I don't think there's anything bad about you.... You're perfect to me...."
"I eat people," I whispered softly to him. "They taste really good and I don't want to stop." He blushed and nodded slowly.
"O-oh.. okay," he whispered then leaned down and kissed my cheek. "Then keep eating people. I don't mind," he purred and hugged me tightly. "If it's something you enjoy, then it's okay, right?"
"No," I whispered. "People don't like it," I told him and ran my fingers across the book. He frowned and looked down into my eyes.
"But you like it," he mumbled. "The mousey didn't like it when I caught him either, but I couldn't let him disturb that nice lady sleeping. Plus, I wanted to play with it...." I nodded a little before looking down into my book.
"There is a spell to make bottomless pockets," I told him and ran my fingers across the text as I opened the book. He giggled then.
"Let's do that one!" He said quickly and eyed over my pockets. "We could stick all sorts of things in your pockets then~"
