Waking up in the morning Zero looked at the room he was sleeping in, his little hut. Getting up and putting on his pants he went outside. Grabbing the sack with him. Then remembering the way towards the mansion he wrote the invisibility formula once more. Exerting some of the recovered magic from his body he put it all on his leafs and eyes. Jumping once more he started jumping from place to place making as little sound as possible. He reached the mansion, the carriage wasn't where he last saw it yesterday so he looked up to find the suns location. It was 5 am, only the maids would be up so early.
Zero then went inside of the mansion. Going inside he started to walk towards the lord's study room. Knocking first to be polite he got no answer, knocking once more and using magic to scan the inside of the closed room, he found no one was there not even the maids.
Walking in he started to look around the room, going towards one of the walls that seemed to have a weird painting drawn. Looking closer he found that the 'painting' was a detailed map of the whole mansion. Quickly enveloping his mind with magic and dissipating the magic on his feet he started to memorize the map. After a short while only some minutes, he took his eyes off of the wall and walked out of the study. Remembering where the architects designing room was he set towards it.
Reaching the room through the white hallways he found that the door was colored a dark blue with a compass on it. Knocking once he heard a welcoming voice saying come in.
Going inside he saw the place filled with papers the walls covered by ink and house plans, there were some city plans as well. In the middle of the room was a desk with the architect and from what he gathered since yesterday the lord's brother. The man looked the same as yesterday only his face looked serious and he had bags under his eyes. This made Zero a little suspicious, this man seemed to have a lot of energy coming from him yesterday.
The question he had was soon answered as he heard the door open again now with a lot more vigor. "Brother what are you doing? Still working on the city plans?" Said the man walking in, if you looked at both men you'd find them looking the same, they were twins. The only difference was their posture. "What have I told you on working all night?" Asked the cheerful man. "Sen I've told you to knock before coming in, and I can't just leave my post like you can I gotta pick your slack up." Said the more tired of the two. "I know I'm sorry but this is extremely boring for me! Sorry Sei!" Shaking his head the sleepless one looked back in the drawing board on the table, returning to work immediately.
Sen started to look around. Coincidentally his eyes landed on The young noble. "Golden mane! You scared me kid! What are you doing here!" Said Sen looking at Zero, he hadn't noticed him before. Sei looking up from the map looked shocked at the new persons 'arrival' "I was here before you came in sir Sen." He said in a matter of fact tone. "Who are you, ive never seen you before are you another of those stray kittens my brother raises?" Said the blonde haired Sei. "Oh no! Brother I'm this is the kid I told you about! The one with the noble act!" Said Sen. Directing his attention to Sen, Sei shook his head. Giving the youth a glance he spoke. "What is your full name now?" He asked knowing that this boy had just registered as a noble household. "My household name is Surph, whilst my name is still Zero." Stated Zero. Bowing his head and closing his eyes. Nodding his head Sei approved of the child way of speech. "See brother , even a child that has become a noble for only a day has more manners then you do." He said as he pointed towards Zero and accusingly glaring at Sen. "Oh come on, I never cared for formalities before!" Said Sen in indignation.
Shaking his head Zero cleared his voice. "Anyway, this is your personal matter so I won't be intruding further." He said, he actually felt killing intent from Sen when he spoke even though he spoke loosely. "I would like to ask which one of you is in charge of the plot I was given." "That was me! Anyways did something happen?" Asked the energetic twin. "Uhn, nothing happened but I'd like for you to help with my design of my manor, and also I'd like to ask why have you given me 3 acres?" Said and questioned Zero. "Oh that was easy you had previously said that you might enjoy being a farmer so I allocated two acres of land to give you working space whilst a acre of land was given to you extra as it's a barren hill that we can't do much with. And if you'd like come to my desk over there and show me a sketch of what do you want." He said simply and astonishingly calmly. Zero though noticing the change didn't say much. Giving Sen a eye smile he put a hand forward as if to invite the man to sit so they could chat. Sen then started to walk towards his desk closely followed by the younger youth.
"So how would you want your house kid?!" Said Sen excitingly. "Well sir , do you have a map for me to look at and draw on, I'd like to give the general outline of all the houses." "Your planing more then ones house? That's really interesting!" Said Sen with a bit of grimace to his face, he knew that a lot of paperwork had to be done and he didn't know if Zero would help, but it was a really low chance he would. "Kid are you sure? There'd be a lot of materials that you need, hiring craftsman, builders, and even miners would take a lot of money and convincing." Said Sen trying to NOT get more work on his resume. "Don't worry about the building I have my ways to build it myself but I would like for you to help with the layout and give me some tips on building and decor." "Yeah sure kid but what did you mean you have your ways?" Reassured and asked Sen. Though probably intentionally Sen raised his killing intent at the question he asked. Usually this made normal people tell the truth subconsciously but Zero wasn't the normal person. "Well sir I have my own people I know around town and I also like doing things myself!" Said zero with a little grin on his face. "I see have fun then let's look at your plan!" Said Sen dissipating the killing intent. Nodding Zero sat at the mans lap. This caused a small coo to escape the grown adult. This kid though serious was too cute.
"I was planning to make a big house, and five smaller houses! The first one would be 120 by 76 meters and would have two stories. The other three would be the same same size and only have a single story, all 60 by 50! As for the last two they'd be far away from the others. They are gonna be 30 by 40 meters only one floor. The biggest house would be set in the hill whiles three houses will be 30 meters away from the big one and 20 meters apart. They will have a hall that only has a roof and beams without restrictions of going out. The next two houses will be 70 meters away from the other houses and they'll be close to the road. The length apart would be about 30 meters and a high wall that touches these houses will be going around all the other houses but it should stay at least 30 meters from the other buildings, preferably going around in a rectangular way. Also I want to add a high fence that's made of wood that goes out all around the last house connected to those walls, leaving room for a really big garden." Said zero , whilst talking he drew his idea on a paper . It was really rough but it showed the kids plan. He first drew a line at the edge of the map naming it 'road' close to the road he drew a big square, at the edge farthest from the road he draw two squares naming them little house 1 and 2 , spawning from the sides of the 'houses' he drew a larger square and within that square drew three more close to the little 'houses' naming them middle houses he drew a line going from the left house to the middle and also drew another going from the right house towards the middle house. He drew a square further from the houses he named it big house. The three houses in a row were connected to the big house with another line that indicated a hallway. All of this was within the big square that originated from the small houses. The plan was simple and was aligned perfectly. Grabbing a map he put the paper as an overlay indicating where it should be. The man was really shocked by how much the child had imagination. But what shocked him most that this was a feasible way to build this big mansion. He was even more shocked when the child's next words came to his ear. "I only want your help to plan the insides of the big house and the left wing house from the middle. I have already got a plan for the other houses" this child was a prodigy, he truly was a genius comparable to no one else, the architect felt great sense of anticipation , he wanted to help with the planing so much. "Alright how about we plan the rooms then. Do you have any requirements on what your looking for?" Asked Sen looking at the child. "Well I want the bathrooms for the big house to be on the second floor." Said the genius child. "Why on the second floor?" Asked the architect looking at the genius child. "Well the poop and pee usually fall down like a lot of other objects. Maybe the poop would fall off through some kind of pipe!" Said the boy , once again opening a big curtain in the eyes of the architect, he never thought of it like that! But this would raise problems still. However if the child already thought of this concept he might have a way to fix the problems.
"Anyways can you help me for a while! I wanna plan and plan!" Said zero making himself act like a child for a little while. His actions made the grown man chuckle.
The man sighed at the child and started to slowly discuss about the plans while designing the way the houses should be. Every time he added a room the child would ask why and he'd explain. It was fun talking to this child he seemed so pure and curious!
