Da Xia had no idea about what was going on but she silently followed the group of maidservants as they all headed out of the room and in the direction of only heaven knew where.
Her heart started beating fast again as anxiety and fear took over her. She wasn't sure exactly why she had been dolled up just to meet these so-called masters.
But the biggest question was - Who these masters were and what did they want from her?
Taking in a deep breath, she tried to calm herself down a little bit. If she kept panicking, it would lead her to unwanted trouble. She needed to be in control to observe the situation and to find a way out if it was going to be a bad one for her.
Of course, there was also the possibility that she was being paranoid for absolutely nothing and these masters were good people who just wanted to meet her for some reason. And she suddenly found herself constantly praying for it to be the latter.
