Chapter 99 - A visit to the old place: Dinning Room

I and other twelve kids, together with the nuns are sitting at the big table in the middle of the room, eating soup made with pork and also drinking some apple juices made it from a store which is selling juice made by fruits and vegetables at an accessible price. One of the nuns who used to take care of me when I lived here, Sister Margaret, passes me a bowl of soup with pork and she asks me.

"You have grown since I last saw you running for your knight."

"I do?" I asked Sister Margaret, but right before she answered, one of the kids at the table, asked me.

"Who are you working for? Tell me."

"Is it a strong knight?" asks a girl who probably thought the knight I work for it is a charming man.

"Is it beautiful?" asks another girl.

"Is it male?" asks one of the boys.

Then, I decided to tell them about this thing, with the knight I am working for because not many of them know I work for a woman who fought in a war and have supernatural superpowers.

"The knight I work for it is Fiona Lunderberg. She is a nice girl, who carries an enormous sword around and fight beasts or in wars."

"How big is the sword?" asks a guy who is on the other side of the table.

To show him how big it is the sword Fiona is always carrying around her, I raised both of my hands, and show him the measures of the sword by pulling my hands away and stopping them at a considerable distance to show these orphans how big Fiona's sword is. A few of them were shocked and impressed at this, even one girl was smug smirking at one of the kids next to her. I don't know why she did that, but it is her business.

"It might be bigger than the measure I showed you, "I say after I stopped showing these kids the length of the sword Fiona is carrying around. "And the sword it is not the single thing who made her strong and terrifying, it also her..." then I realize I cannot tell them about the Vewolf because it will give me problems, so I decided to lie to them, kinda. "Muscles are the second thing who made her much more carrier."

"She is ripped?" asks a kid who seemed impressed.

"Quite a lot," I respond to him.

"You are having fun with the knight?" asks one of the nuns.

"Yes, we do. We go together in capturing or killing monsters who could kill citizens, resolve some problems, like the one with the thunder, and we also join a war."

"Woah," says Nun Margaret scared at that last part. "You joined the war?"

"Yes. Because I squire has to escort and help him a knight in a difficult situation." I say to the nun which seems like she accepts my response, after all, in this world, if you are ten years old, you are not qualified to be a child anymore.

"Have you met a noble?" asks the same kid who asks me about Fiona. "I heard they are stronger and I hope one of them would like to hire me a squire if they would like to work together with one who can run really fast."

I look at the kid eyes, named Dominique by the way, and I laughed.

"Nobles? Bah hahaha haha! Strong? Hahahahah! Oh, man." I swipe off my tears from laughter with my left finger and tell I tell to the kids. "Nobles are not even strong, they got assassins which are doing their things, and even if you became their squires, you will live in something much worse than the prison."

"You have been into the Prison?!" asked a few nuns which seems shocked I was in Prison.

"What have you done?" asks sister Margaret which seems concerned about this thing.

"Well... Funny story. You see... One time I used a spell from my old spell book, and that spell was powerful and I did not even realize I have committed a mistake, which has turned into a heroic act."

And I told them about the adventure when I use the spell "So No Chi Sadame", caught two prisoners, getting arrested for thinking I was about to attack other citizens, meet a few prisoners, finding out there are much more types of magic after I heard the magic of the Music, getting bailed by Fiona which made her upset and also proud of me by catching two criminals without her assistance or without helping to catch them.

"And can you control that spell?" asks Olive after I slurp the nuns have prepared.

"Not yet." I respond to her and then I look at everybody. "But thanks to my Mother teacher, Derek, I can do some spells and know much more about wizards and their magic."

"Can you show us a spell?" asks a little kid who seems excited.

"Yes. Can you show us?" asks another kid, and then the other three kids asked me if I can show them a spell.

I look at the nuns and they approved, which made me feel quite insecure and worried because they will never use their magic in this Orphanage, for the kids' protection. I left my seat, I go a few steps to the window, I take out my wand and aimed at the window and say "Vulture" with a loud voice. A vulture leaves my wand and flies straight out of the window. When I did that spell a few kids seemed impressed, happy and amazed by this spell, even a few nuns smiled at me. Sister Margaret told me.

"You executed well, Judah."

"Thanks." I said to Sister Margaret, and when I look at the window to see if the Vulture will come back and he came back.

When he was about to enter the building, I raised my left hand to let him land on my hand. When he landed on my hand, his nails hurt me, but a little. After all, I got used to this pain. But, he also came back with something, he got a parchment on his Vulture back. I took the parchment and then I read it with a loud voice to everyone in this room.

"The war between Turkey Empire it has been ended! Kingdom of Romania and Kingdom of Moldovia have won the war, and restore the Empire to his pure and non-corrupted times, thanks to our army, ex-citizens of Turkey Empire and also a few fighters from the Kingdom of Bulgaria. The reward for the soldiers who have participated in this war can be taken from the deposit of Royal Palace Economy System."

I closed the parchment, and then I put it on the table and looked at the Orphanage. I think it is the time I have to give them my present. I took my backpack filled with gold, put on the table and opened it. The entire Orphanage was with their mouth opened and astonished by the amount of gold I took as a reward because I fought in three different regions, the River of Steel, Moldovans Forests and The Dark Forests.

"This amount to gold. Should be given to Orphanage."

"To us?!" asked a few nuns astonished and shocked by my gesture.

"T-This one should be to you." said one of the nuns, whose name is Sister Elizabeth.

"The gold doesn't matter to me, Sister Elizabeth. All I want in life is to make people happy and have amazing memories."

A few of the nuns have started to cry, most likely because of the gold they got from me, but one even left her seat and start hugging me, and whispered that she apologize for the things she did to me. I gotta admit, she did some cruel punishment, but these have taught me how to become a better human.

---

Later, when the dinner was finished, I took my things back and headed to the home. But before I left, I said goodbye to all of the kids and Nuns. They also said goodbye to me. But, right when I was about to leave, Olive told me something I have not expected.

"Judah! Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Eh?... No. Why?" I asked her.

"Then... W-Would you... Would you like to be my boyfriend when we will grow up and be at the same level?"

And this thing, I have not expected to a girl to tell me, but right at this moment. Now, here is the problem. I like her as a friend, but not as a lover because I got much more important things in my head, such as trying to find Big Gus and Emily and go with them to my Family building where they kept some important secrets. But if I refuse her right now, the things might get ugly for me and her, because some kids might laugh at her, and a few of them consider me a monster, so I smiled and told her.

"Yes."

"R-Really?" says Olive who has started to have her entire face coloured in red, and then she fainted before she was about to say something.

Some kids tried to help her get up, and some laughs at her. But a few nuns looked at me, smiled and they tried to help Olive getting up and be back to her senses. I did not help her, because I continued to walk to the knight I work for, Fiona.
