Both stayed silent for a few minutes, finding comfort in the silence. Mia didn't wait for his answer, nor did Ian try to comfort her or lie about things he himself wasn't sure about now.
"You will be with me this Sunday!!" Ian suddenly declared and Mia blinked coming back from her thoughts.
She realized what he just said, and chuckled out loud.
"I am being serious, Mia!" He said breaking their hug and looking at her.
"Really?" Mia chuckled again, harder this time as his puppy face was too hard to resist.
"You promised me first! So, it's only right for you to spend time with me this weekend!"
"And?" Mia asked as she knew he had more reasons to convince her.
"And," Thinking for a while, he added, "I am older than that kid, and you should go according to our age!"
