"Mia, I I swear, I, I never," Noah mourned, his heart almost stuck in his throat.
"Calm down," Xavier patted his shoulder, giving him a bottle of water.
Wiping her tears, Mia just sighed out loud, at least the road was a bit clear now! Helping the poor guy to quest his thirst, Mia nodded at Xavier to give them some space so did he at her order.
"Dad, dad, he really," Noah withered again, as tears rolled down in guilt.
"Sush! Calm down, it's not your fault. He just had a month... This matter really didn't affect him," Mia sighed, unable to console him with a lie.
"You must go there! It's better if I," Noah mumbled, sure about the mess he might drag with his presence in the funeral.
Mia just sighed, as words fell short for her to console him. But she didn't wanted to let Felix go without a proper goodbye from everyone he loved. Specially Noah who was like a closest pet to him.
"Do you trust me?" Holding his hands, Mia asked.
