"Sit, sit. We are glad to you have!" Audrina gestured him to sit and at Arthur's nod, Ian took his seat once the couple sat back.
"I heard there were some internal conflicts in the summit." Arthur started the talk and Audrina gladly sighed at his smooth acceptance. She sighed looking at her grumpy son but the jitter in Mia's eyes subdued her tension. At last it was her happiness which everyone in the room wished.
"We were able to resolve it smoothly." Ian replied back and his selfless answer brought a smile on the elder's face. The word WE clearly showed his selfless trait of acknowledging his whole team's efforts, earning extra brownie points.
"How's your dad's health?" Arthur asked this time his voice a little less hoarse. His guards against Ian were slowly dropping down but just by inches.
"He is fine for now, Sir! I will let him know your regards." Ian lightly bowed and glanced again at Xavier, this time making Audrina squint in confusion.
